Mr. Knight entered the classroom and looked around. Good, he was the first one there. He would have hated to keep a student waiting. Speaking of students, who did he have in his class today? He took his seat and pulled out his enrollment sheet: Tamaki Suoh , Kiki Jones , and Zane Lathurna . |

Tamaki bounded into his classroom with Billy. His Skiddo sure liked to run! But it was time for class now, so they had to calm down. He flashed Mr. Knight a bright smile before finding a seat in the middle of the room. It was learning time! |

Zane leapt into the room with a tremendous amount of energy. Then he struck a pose, his Torchic on his head. Grinning, he picked up Ellie and trotted to the nearest seat. "Morning, everyone!" |

Kiki and Alice decided to walk to class together. The two of them had been together for awhile, so they enjoyed the silence and company of the other. The girl opened the door for both of them. Looking around,s he was glad she recognized everyone. She chose a seat up front so her Bayleef would have room to sit next to her. |

Mr. Knight counted the students who walked in, so he knew when everyone had arrived "Good morning class," he said warmly. "Let's introduce ourselves and then share our favorite food. You all know me, and I love noodles!" |

Zane already knew his answer, so he had to speak first. "My favorite food is pizza!" He paused. What else was he supposed to say? "Oh, I'm Zane, and this is Ellie!" |

Kiki decided to speak next. "I am quite fond of cob on the corn," she said. She remembered meals back at home, and it made her hungry. "And I'm Kiki. This is my partner, Alice." |

Tamaki patiently waited for his turn to speak. He let everyone else go first to be polite. Finally, he gave his answer. "My name is Tamaki, and this is my baby Skiddo, Billy. I love cordon bleu." |

Mr. Knight smiled. "Those are all great choices. Now, does anyone have a philosophy topic they want to discuss?" He thought he would let the students lead the first class to make it more interesting. |

Tamaki looked back and forth. Was no one going to answer? He decided to go for it himself. He raised his hand and waited for the teacher to call on him. Then he spoke: "Do Pokemon have the same ability to reason as humans?" |
