Team movie night [open/AW]

Walter J. Satinwood { the prince of cool }Young master Satinwood had been busy for the past few hours. Besides finishing his studies, he had been preparing something for his team. A few days ago he had left a note for everyone to read on the frig telling them that there was going to be a weekly movie night every Wednesday, and seeing as today was Wednesday the brown haired boy was getting ready. Already he had take out three movie choices for the team to pick from to watch, gathered a bunch of snacks, and made two big bowls of popcorn. One had butter and the other didn't. He had made sure to stock the frig up with all sorts of bottled drinks as well. From water, to soda, to fruit juices, and even energy drinks. He had even got some fruit for those who wanted fruit to snack on like a healthy crazy person.
Why had he gone through all this trouble? Well a movie night was a great why to bond with his team, and he wanted people to like him. Sometimes though he knew he could rub others the wrong way. Mostly other guys, as he had yet to cross paths with a girl who disliked him. Okay, so maybe his ex, but still. Looking out the window he could see that it was already dark and looking at the clock he saw that it was forty-five minutes after seven. The note to all had said the movie would start at eight, and hopefully everyone, or rather someone from Team Johto would show up.
Looking around the living room, there was plenty of places to sit and relax. There was even some blankets and pillows. However, he didn't place them there. Well he did place one blanket on a chair with a foot rest. It was his Vulpix's blanket and she was currently laying in it. Smiling at Kitten he placed the bowls of popcorn on the coffee table. Turning he had to step high and wide so that he didn't trip over Rockstar the Aron who was following him like a puppy. Walking over to the movies he looked at them.
Movie's to choose from:
Horror House; A story about a boy who travels alone into a haunted house where he slowly turns into a mummy, leaving his pokemon to figure out a away to save him before it is too late.
Operation 912; A story about a team of scientist who discover something they shouldn't and travel back in time where they have to fight their way to freedom after being thrown into the arena by the locates.
Fame Chasers; An action packed adventure of three friends, turned rivals all trying to become Johto champion.

-In Dorm room 200-
The sound of sprinkling water from the shower head filled this room. The dorm room was mostly darkened save for the turned on lamp on the night stand, but it's dim light only illuminated a small area. This allowed for one to only see the nightstand itself and the head of the bed right beside it. On the nightstand sat a polished red and white pokeball that was tilted slightly to the right. The bed was covered in a silk red blanket with two pillows at its' head, one white and the other black. For the most part it was silent, till the door to the bathroom opened.
Out of the door walked Shun with a herd of steam that flowed from the previously closed off area. Shun loved taking hot, steamy showers. They always made him feel relaxed and ready for bed. He was still kind of wet as he walked towards his bed with only a towel wrapped around his waist. His wet black and red hair drooped while clinging to his face. Steam still drifting off his tanned skin from the heat of the water. Once near his bed, he unzipped one of the many compartments on his luggage bag. He still hadn't unpacked fully or at all to begin with, but he was going to but now there was some place he wanted to go tonight. Out of the bag he would pull out the clothes he intended to wear after drying himself off. Placing them neatly on his bed he returned to the bathroom, now that the steam was gone and it was less stuffy. He would continue to dry himself off, while thinking of who he might meet at the event. Hopefully he would meet some of the other members of team Johto. He hoped they would be cool and make good bonds but there was always the chance of meeting that person who would piss you off. Luckily, even those types had a very hard time getting under Shun's calm exterior, making it kind of useless to provoke him in those matters.
After he was done drying his hair off, he left the bathroom once again to put on a pair of boxers, followed by a pair of dark grey fleece cargo pants, then topping it off with a simple red t-shirt. These clothes were comfortable, which is why he put them on. Soon sliding his feet into some slides he grabbed Blint's pokeball from the nightstand and commenced his walk out the door. Wait. Turning a full three hundred and sixty degrees he rushed to turn the lamp off. Can't be wasting electricity now can he? Before he did so, he glanced at the other side of the room where another bed was and a few other items that obviously weren't his own. A roommate huh. Wonder if he is down there already. He knew it was a guy. Simply because the school wouldn't put a girl and a guy in the same room...would they? If they did. It would kind of be...taxing and stressful, or would it. As his face began to blush a little from his thoughts he cut off the lamp and walked outside, locking the door from there with his room key. The nice chilly wind of the night took his mind off his previous thoughts as he stared up at the night sky. Ah... It was beautiful. All the stars shone magnificently, this always left Shun in awe whenever he saw them. His moment was interrupted by the beeping of his watch, signalling that he was now late, bummer. Aw, I hoped their not mad or anything. I should apologize once I get there. With that he took off down the stairs towards the dorm living area.
Making it there like a couple minutes late, he stopped at the door to release Blint from his pokeball. The little echidna pokemon stretching after being in the pokeball for a while now. Then quickly scurried up Shun's body to rest on his head. The dude was kind of spoiled that way, but Shun didn't mind. Opening the door to the living room he caught site of all the preparations that had been made for the Movie Night. All the snacks and popcorn, then he saw a guy with blonde hair and a steel clad pokemon following him around. CYNDAA! <Hey everyone!> Wanting to greet them as well Shun walked closer as he threw up the peace sign. Yo, hows it going. So you're one of my teammates huh. Well, its nice to meet you, my name is Shun. Introducing yourself was only the polite thing to do when trying to make friends. After that he took up another look around the place, which gave him a view of the now visible vulpix laying on a blanketed chair. It looked so content. Its really cool that you set all of this up. Yeah, and you have some interesting pokemon too. He smiled as he spoke, until his mind traced him back to the fact that he was late. Uh, oh yeah. Sorry about being a tad late. Um, I was distracted for a bit. While Shun had been talking to his new acquaintance, Blint had been looking down at the other trainer's pokemon, the aron. <Hey, so whats your name? I'm Blint.>

"Come on guys, cut it out. We're going to be late." Kiki looked on in exasperation at the scene before her. They were supposed to be heading out to the Team Johto movie night, but Chomper the Totodile and Cody the Lillipup seemed to think it was more fun to run around and chase each other in the dorm. Kiki sighed before looking down at the Chikorita beside her. "Alice, can you help me out?"
Alice nodded. She was always ready to help out her trainer. When the other two Pokemon ran by her, she reached out her vines and held onto them, one Pokemon in each vine. Chomper and Cody looked at her in surprise. <It's time to go,> she said in a stern voice. <You can play when we get there. I bet there will be lots of Pokemon to meet.>
<New friends?> Chomper said excitedly. He and Cody exchanged a grin. Alice let them go, and they happily bounded over to Kiki.
The trainer let out a sigh of relief. "Thanks, Alice." Then the four of them headed out of the room. She felt more relaxed as she entered the living room. The place seemed to have everything they needed for movie night. Then something caused her to freeze. Walter Satinwood was standing there. What was he doing there? She had no idea he attended Cherilli, let alone that he was in her team. Of course, he was from Johto. Maybe she should have stuck with Hoenn after all. she did not know what to do, so she chose to look away and appear distracted. She hoped he would nit notice her, but that would be a long shot with so few people in the room.
Alice noticed there was something wrong with her trainer, so she loyally stayed beside her. The other two Pokemon, however, were nothing short of oblivious. Chomper ran over to where the Vulpix lay. <Hi!> he said excitedly. Meanwhile, Cody found himself facing the Aron and Cyndaquil. He looked both of them over curiously. |

Walter J. Satinwood { the prince of cool }Walter hadn't expected everyone to show up on time, then again he hadn't expected anyone to show up at all. He did hope they did, if not everyone then at least one person. Luckily for him another boy showed up, and he even brought his pokemon with him. "Hey." He said as he looked at the other kid. Hearing the name his brain started turning at it. Where had he heard or rather seen that name before. "Rias?" Walter questioned as he believed he had read that his room mate's name was Shun, he knew for sure that he read the last name Rias. Yes, he was pretty sure that was it. "Walter, Walter Satinwood. I think we might be roommate." He said as he reach out his hand to shake the other boy's hand. That is if Shun would go with the flow of meeting someone and shaking. It might seem a little formal, but that was how Walter was raised all formal like.
Looking at the other kid's pokemon he smiled at it as he saw Rockstar his Aron run over to the Cyndaquill. <Hey man what's cooking?> Rockstar said to the fire mouse pokemon. <Rockstar that line is as stupid as ever.> Kitten said as the Vulpix looked lazily at the two boy pokemon before shifting and laying her head back down on her paws. "Your pokemon are pretty cool too. Oh this is Rockstar and that is Kitten. Careful she will attack if you insult her." The brown haired teen said as he pointed to each of his pokemon.
"And it is no big deal I just wanted something the team could do together. There are a couple movie choices over by the TV, I pulled out thre--" He started to explain that he had pulled out three choices to pick from to Shun when Kiki walked in and he stopped mid speech. Looking at her he saw her pokemon run by, all expect one and he noticed that she to saw him. As she looked away, Walter spoke again to Shun. "Excuse me for a moment." Not waiting for the boy to answer he walked over to Kiki and stood in front of her.
There was a look of surprise on his face as he saw her. She did sometimes go to Johto he know that, in fact he knew that well, but she was from Hoenn, and frankly he didn't even know she went to school here. "Hi." He said in a bit of a shocked voice as he stared at her. He didn't want this to be weird, and he didn't want rumors or anything spreading so he decided to play it cool. Blinking a few times he shook his head to break the look on his face. "Hi, I am Walter." He said as he offer her a hand to shake. Of course, he knew who she was, and he knew that she knew who he was, but honestly it was the best he could come up with on the spot. "You're also on the team?" He questioned softly as he acted in a friendly manner trying to get everyone else around him, around them to believe they where meeting for the first time. Or perhaps he was just in shock to see his ex-girlfriend.
Now as Walter acted like a deer in a pair of headlights, his Aron didn't. Rockstar looked at the other pokemon and called out in greeting. <Hey there! I am Rockstar!> As he said that the Aron wiggled his tail like some puppy wanting to play. Kitten on the other hand when addressed just looked up again, and over at the water pokemon. <Goodbye.> She said as she shifted to look away before curling up in a ball. <Hey don't mind Kitten she is just a stuck up lazy bum.> Rockstar said smirking, but the Vulpix didn't response as she learned already that Rockstar wasn't worth her time when he tried to insult her, he was just lame.

Kiki tensed when she saw Walter walking towards he rout of the corner of her eye. She knew she could not avoid him now, and she did not want to make a scene, so she turned her head to look at him. "Hello," she said with a nervous smile. Why was he acting like they had never met? From his body language, she knew he recognized her. Perhaps he wanted to keep a calm environment in front of the rest of their team. That was fine with her. The last thing she wanted to do right now was dig into her past. She would play along... for now. "I'm Kiki." She hesitated before shaking his hand, hoping he could not feel the tension in her body. "Yep, I'm Team Johto. Did you do all of this?" She took the chance to look around at the room once again. She should not have been surprised. Of course he would want to try to impress everyone and get them to like him. Well, it would not work on her.
Alice looked up at the two of them, eying Walter suspiciously. She still did not know what was going on, so she stayed where she was. Chomper frowned at the Vulpix's attitude. <Aw,> he said. He did not like to be rejected like that. He did not want to push it, though, so he made his way over to the other Pokemon. <I'm Chomper.> Maybe these guys would like him.
<I'm Cody,> the Lillipup said, wagging his tail. <That's Alice over there.> He nodded his head at the Chikorita. He could already tell this was going to be lots of fun. He wondered if anyone else was going to show up. |

Oh, wow. I was wondering about the other stuff in the dorm room. Looks like I got a cool roommate haha. Shun said as he gladly shaked hands with Walter. Noticing the steel covered pokemon, Blint gave a nice wave as he said <Hello. Hehe, not much.> Blint found the aron and vulpix to be kinda funny. If things went nicely maybe they could all be good friends. The fire mouse would then jump off Shun's shoulder to be on level with the aron, now known as Rockstar. <My name's Blint. Nice to meet you Rockstar.> Back to Shun and Walter, hearing his compliment caused him to grin. "Thanks, I plan on adding more additions to our family. Hm, Rockstar and Kitten you say. Heh, there names seem to fit them. " He noted as he took another look over them. Blint seemed to enjoy being with the other pokemon. He'd make sure to get Blint some more friends.
As Shun listened to Walter speak of the decor and how he went about it, he suddenly stopped. Hm? He then noticed Walter walk past him, his eyes folowing his new acquaintance led him to see a girl at the door with her own pokemon. So we have another member. Nice, the more the merrier. Looking at her pokemon he noticed the chikorita and totodile. He smirked as it seemed the Johto starters had assembled. This was beginning to look like a true gold and silver Johto team. Blint had also taken notice to the new arrivals, but before he knew it the lillipup was already near him. He seemed to be analyzing him or something. Blint felt a tad bit wierd from the pokemon's looks. <Uhh, hey. Watcha doin dude.> As he said so, the totodile had walked over. He looked sad from his attempt at being friendly to kitten. <Hey Chomper and Cody, I'm Blint. Chomper don't feel down bro, I'm sure she didn't mean to hurt your feelings.> Blint said as he proceeded to pat the totodile on the back.
Looking over as Walter conversed with who was most likely their teammate, Shun wanted to walk over and introduce himself. However, something felt odd in the atmosphere. Taking as a sign, he walked over to a couch to sit and look over the choice of movies.

Walter smiled at Kiki and he was really unsure where they stood with each other, but he did hope any hard feelings could be pushed a side for the team. After all why did other team members have to suffer just because they had a rocky past. Clearing his throat softly Walter spoke up again. "Yes, I did. For the team. Come won't you join us?" He said moving a side so she could come and take a seat and get settled with the snacks she wanted. "There are also cold drinks in the frig. I haven't brought them out though." He then added as he moved back to where Shun was, smiled and then went to grabbed the movies.
"So I don't know what you guys like." Clearly he lied about at least one of them, but it was an honest statement none the less about Shun. Then again he doesn't know what any of the pokemon like. "But I have collected three chooses." He said as he showed them to the two others that where there. If either of them wanted to take the movies and read the back of them he would hand them over.
<Yay don't worry Kitten is just Kitten. She is normally a sleep at this time anyways.> Rockstar told the others and that was true. The Vulpix liked to go to sleep early so that she could raise with the sun. Hmm, maybe there was something wrong with her? Was she sick? No. Not really. The fire pokemon might have had a headache, but if so Rockstar had given it to her. Rockstar then looked at his trainer and saw him talking to the other trainer, so he simply looked at Chomper and smirked. Moving closer to him he moved his head forward and tapped the pokemon with his forward. <TAG YOUR IT!> He said as he started to ran away.

"Alright," Kiki said slowly. She had been planning on having a good time, and that was what she would do. Walter did seem to have put a lot of work into this. She would forget about the past, at least for now, and enjoy the night. She walked over to Shun to stand by him as she looked over the snacks, trying to decide what she wanted. She looked up when Walter returned with the movies. The last two looked interesting, so she took them and looked them over, letting Shun see if he wanted. Hmm... She would be fine with anything, but she had an opinion if asked.
Cody blinked at Blint. <I'm not doing anything,> he said. Was his friendliness a bit too much for the Cyndaquil? He shrugged. Oh well. He glanced at Chomper sympathetically. <Sorry.> It was too bad about that Vulpix. He bet she was secretly lots of fun.
Chomper smiled slightly at Blint when he pat his back. This fire type seemed nice at least. He turned as Rockstar tapped him. <What> Oh, tag! He knew that game. He grinned as he ran after the Aron. |
