ooc: Rae's 'mark' should be noticeable by whomever arrives at the Pokemon Basics class, whether it be a teacher, or student.
*Please note, he has taken the dry erase board Eraser with him, in hopes that his masterpiece will not be lost!
Rae had just finished with one of the most intense training programs of his life. The virtual realm had certainly done a number on him and his yellow Pokemon, and the smoker longed for his bed. He felt like a zombie as he moved, heading from the Fire Building toward the Team Kalos dorms. The toes of his blue shoes drug with every step and his entire body felt exhausted. He thought it rather curious, since it hadn't been him, but only his Pokemon whom had fought in battle. What was more, it had all been but a simulation inside a virtual realm, but still... it had drained him, both mentally and physically.
As was per usual for the chain-smoking Pokemon trainer, he soon found himself lost. I coulda' swore this was the way to the dorms? he pondered, itching his butt cheek in confusion. His eyes roamed the immediate area, searching for some clue, some landmark to help him get back on track. Shrugging his shoulders, he decided to try the building up ahead.
Arriving inside, the door closed quietly behind him. Rae's eyes narrowed as he looked around. He didn't recognize a thing. He began to wonder if he had ever even been inside this building since his arrival at the academy. It sure as heck didn't look that way... And the smell, it was... unfamiliar.
Despite his fatigue, Rae's curiosity propelled him forth at quite the impressively-slow pace. Had there been a race of turtles in the hallway, they surely would've left the pierced teen in the dust. Touching his finger tips gently along the wall as he went, Rae finally came to a closed door. His eyes examined the small plaquer beside the door frame and he read the words aloud. "Pokemon... Basics," he voiced in a raspy, tired tone.
Shrugging his shoulders, Rae grasped the knob and turned it. To his surprise the door wasn't locked and he was granted entry into the dark room. As he stepped inside, his free hand instinctively moved along the wall in search of a light switch. Flick! The darkness was suddenly vanquished and Rae squinted his eyes slightly in response to the brightness of the light.
He roamed the room slowly, with his eyes, before finally looking toward the giant white-board at the far end. He had pieced together the fact that he had found the building where classes would be held, once the semester officially started. And, he gathered that this, was one of the classrooms. He couldn't remember what his own class schedule looked like at the moment, but he decided it would be fun to leave a message for whomever ended up having this one...
Once he was finished, he stepped back and looked up at his work. With a nod of approval and a soft smile, he recapped the red marker and placed it back on the tray. It had been a bit of fun, but it was time to get some rest. As he was preparing to go, he suddenly turned back toward the tray and snatched up the dry board eraser, stuffing it into his back pocket with a devious grin. Hopefully his art would remain up long enough for someone to see and appreciate. Finally, Rae headed for the hallway, killed the light on his way out and closed the door behind him. Next stop, dream land... assuming he could ever find his dorm.
