Yami yawned softly as he headed to the library it was 9am in the morning and he had just finished his morning swim. He was wearing his regular clothing white Hakama pants, black kimono with extended sleeves, black tabi, Waraji, purple Haori and Purple obi sash. He had a bag hanging over his shoulder containing a few notepads and stationery supplies. In his right hand was a coffee black no sugar in an air tight mug to prevent spillage. He wouldn't want to spill any in the Library and get on the Libraries bad side now would he? Especially if he was going to be utilising the Library to conduct his research for his classes or study for exams that or borrower out books to read so he could pass the time and hopefully work on his career as a Pokemon Professor like he dreamed of becoming. He approached the white door that led to a world of books. He reached out with his left hand and opened the door making his way inside. He bowed his head respectively greeting the Librarian at the counter and walked on past her towards the Non-Fiction collection.
Yami placed his coffee and bag on a table before he headed into the Library to fine the different books he was after. He was interested in gathering a number of different topics to study. He made his way through the shelves looking at the spines on the book using the Dewey Decimal System to find his way. After searching for a few seconds he found the section he was after row after row filled with various books regarding different aspects of Pokemon. He scanned the titles picking out Pokemon Biology, Pokemon Psychology 101, Pokemon Chemistry, and Pokemon Anatomy three thick bound books before moving onto the next section. Along the way to the empty four seat table he had picked he collected Pokemon Battle Tactics 101 Beginner, Pokemon Battle Tactics 101 Intimidate, Pokemon Battle Tactics 101 Advanced, Pokemon Battle Tactics 101 Expert, Pokemon Philosophy 5th Edition, Pokemon Philosophy 101, Pokemon Mating Rituals, Pokemon Habits, Pokemon and the Environment, Pokemon Species, Type weaknesses, Type Strengths, Pokemon Moves and Pokemon Behaviour. He carried the large stack of books over the table and placed them down gently making two neat piles nine books per pile.
Yami sat down and grabbed his coffee sipping it before retrieving a few items from his bag namely a black pen and a notepad to jot down any brief notes he found or to summarise any information he thought would be important. He was hoping to learn something new as he opened the first book Pokemon Biology. He turned to the first page and started reading using the end of the pen to keep track of where he was. Every now and then he was make a bullet point and scribble down a few key notes then return to his reading. He followed this procedure for the next three hours turning pages as he speed read through the first few books and turned the page of his note book.
By 12pm he had read through Pokemon Biology, Pokemon Psychology 101 and Pokemon Chemistry leaving the three thick books all easily 800 pages in length. He had learned how to speed read by with books due to his grandparents shoving down as much information as possible down his throat. Now one large book he could read in an hour. His note book had twenty or so pages filled with ink with various points scribbled down to be re-read through later. Yami leaned back in his chair his coffee empty and a water bottle taking its place. Yami pushed the three aside and grabbed the Pokemon Anatomy book. He would head out at one for a bite to eat and a break before coming back.

Walking into the library around noon the young teen with maroon hair was quiet as a mouse. Her Pokemon tucked away in the pocket of her white sweater as she entered. After all pokemon and a library don't always mix. Not when people are trying to study, and that is just way Ember had came here today. She hated this school at first, but she was starting to settle into it fair enough. She had taken enough classes to keep herself busy at least, but she did need to do things other then read and draw. Some how she had gotten messed up with her roommate Dawn, and now it seemed that she was signed up for a contest? Was that Dawn's fault? No, but why had she signed up? December forgot again. She really didn't want all those eyes looking at her, but that couldn't be helped now.
As she walked in she saw the young man from the assembly reading a book. A small smile crossed her face but it was gone quickly as her hair feel over her eyes, and hide the fact that she was blushing again as she looked away. Finding a table where no one else was sitting she placed her lavender backpack on the ground and took a seat. Today she wore dark blue jeans, and a purple shirt. They where different from the ones she had on the other day. For the shirt was a different shade of purple, and the pants had a swirly pattern stitched in them in silver.
Unzipping her backpack she took out her Pokemon Philosophy Level I book, her notebook, a pink gel pen, and a blue ball point pen, and a bottle of water. Placing the water on a small knitted coaster she had made, she then placed her notebook down, and placed the pens on top of it. Settling back in her seat she opened up the book and began to read. Every once and a while she would write something down in her notebook using her pink pen, then find something else and use the blue as she made what appeared to be an outline of the chapter. Every once and awhile her eyes would look around the room or out the window before she went back to reading.

Yami was so engrossed in his work as he pushed the forth book aside and started to work on the philosophy 5th edition he nearly missed that someone else had entered into the Library. He looked up from his work lifting his pen from his notepad to look upwards towards the other presence. He raised his right brow slightly recognising the person who had decided to utilise the library like he. It was a girl, rather a cute girl he commented in his thoughts. Beautiful maroon hair, dressed in a white sweater, purple shirt and dark blue jeans. He took brief note of the swirl like pattern stitched into her jeans in a shade of silver. He watched her as a small smile appeared on her face before he vanished behind her hair as it fell over her eyes. He had caught the sight of a small blush as she tried to hide it and looked away.
He did have that effect on women from past experience especially when he was at school. He almost shivered at the thoughts of fan girls chasing him down the hall ways of his old school. Fan-girls were truly a scary thing especially when fighting over you they got vicious. He shook the thoughts from his head and returned to his work flipping through the book and jotting down any important notes to revise later tonight and comment them to memory. He wanted to be fully prepared for everything and anything whether it be in the present or the future, he believed preparation was key. As he jotted down his notes his thoughts would wander to the girl who was sitting not that far from her reading the textbook from Pokemon Philosophy Level I.
He considered walking over and talking to her, but he had rarely ever spoken to a girl. So far he had only spoken to Dawn at the academy. At the Private school he only spoke to girls when required but never on a casual basis, either not having any time or he was to be honoured deathly afraid. If he didn't get the courage up and talk with them he would never learn how or even find a girlfriend or a wife one day. Yami took a swig from his water bottle letting the cool liquid flow down his throat calming his nerves. He put his pen down and slowly stood up.
Yami made the walk over to where December was seated hands tucked into his pockets as he stepped lightly in order not to make to much noise, last thing he wanted as the Librarian on his back. Once he stood by the table he cleared his throat in order to catch December's attention, "Pleasure to meet you again. Do you mind if I sit here?" he asked politely giving a polite bow and a small smile.

As she studied, Ember started to doodle. Mostly she was doodling pokemon though, her Sandshrew being her main muse today. It was a little odd, the doodle that was. It was of Sandy reading a book wearing glasses. Oh well, they say doodling while studying helps one remember things easier. Or well, that was what an art teacher once told her. Then again that teacher only had Ember in her class for three months before her family moved away, and that was in the middle of the school year when she started attending that school as well. Oh well, that was life one move after another.
Each time Ember and her family would move she would get upset, but really the friends she made in her time in different places all around the world showed their true colors later on in life. Most pretended they didn't remember her, a few did, but even still she never really had any real friends growing up. Nor did she have any real crushes, let a long a BF. Heck she didn't even have a BFF, and as much as her roommate Dawn possibly wished she was Ember's BFF that role was filled by Sandy the Sandshrew.
As she doodled, and then went back to reading the book before jotting down some notes she hadn't really notice when Yami stood up. That was not until he came over and spoke. "No, go a head." She said softly, quietly and shyly. Her eyes looked at him for a second as he sat down, but then she looked down and at her book again. Her hair once again fall into her face covering it possibly from view as she turned the page in her book. Sitting there she was unsure what to say to him, or if she should say anything to him. Talking to people was never really her strong point, talking to boys? Well, she never talks to them so she was even worse at it.

Yami nodded when she said he could take a seat. He walked over to the table he was at before grabbing his stack and books and moving them over to December's table setting them down before grabbing the second stack and doing the exact same thing. He grabbed the books he had dread along with the ones he was reading placing them down on the new desk before grabbing his pen, notebook, bag and water bottle. He set them down before slipping into the chair directly opposite December. He opened his book and retrieved his pen going back to jotting down his short notes from the book he was reading.
As he jotted down his notes he spoke to the girl across from him deciding to start the conversation, as from the looks of things she might have been to shy to do so, "What made you decide to attend the Cherilli Academy?" he asked speaking softly as he turned the page in his notebook followed by the page in the book he was reading. His eyes never left the book as he addressed December, "What was the purpose which drove you to attend an Academy such as this? Surely there was a reason behind such an important decision to come here was there not?" he was slightly curious as to why the girl had chosen to attend the academy. Yami had his own reasons for coming and no doubt so did all the others, everyone had a reason for anything and everything they did, some form of purpose.

Saying she was too shy to start the talk between them was an understatement. She was a girl of few words, or so she liked to think so. However, her room mate and that boy she battled might say other ways. Goodness, Sandy for should would say her little December mouse was as chatty as a cat or something odd, crazy and lovable like that.
As she read she noticed all the books he was bring over and couldn't help but wonder if he had read all of those or if he planned to read all of those. She for one could finish an eight hundred page book in a little over eleven hours, if she read straight through the day or night for that matter with no breaks. Yet it would have taken her a year at the very least to read all of those books. Looking back at her book, she came a cross something that she had to read over again, and still not understanding it she read it again. It was rather confusing to her so she wrote it down in her notebook, boxed it and wrote a side note to asked the teacher about it.
It was as she finished doing this that Yami spoke to her. Um was this like a job interview or something? That was how his questions seemed to be like. Or maybe she was just over thinking that. Still she only had one real answer to his questions, and the answer was real simple too. "My parents made me come." She said as she got a drink out of her water bottle, before she closed it back up and placed back next to her chair. "Um, what...about you?" She then asked shyly in a very soft almost unhearible voice as she looked at him before looking back at her book to ponder over the question, why is a ditto like the wind? It just seemed like such an odd thing. Ditto was not like the wind. Or was it?

Yami picked his bottle of water up drinking from it letting the cool liquid slide down his throat before placing the bottle onto the desk to continue his work while he awaited the girl to answer him. Her parents forced her to attend the academy? He supposed there would be those at this academy where their parents controlled their every actions and dictated their lives. His grandparents had been just like that, watching his every little moving saying what he could and couldn't do saying it was for his sake. He wondered how she felt having been forced into this by her parents. He knew most of the time his grandparents have forced him into something he had hated it completely.
He nearly didn't catch when she asked what was his reason for being here. He placed his right elbow on the table and leaned his chin on his right fist adopting a thoughtful expression as he thought on his answer and how to say it, "My reason for being here. I suppose I have 3. The first of course to become a trainer. The second to become a Pokemon Professor to do so I must obtain knowledge. Though I suppose the third and most important reason would be...to gain my freedom and remove myself from my Grandparents clutches and to finally allow myself a moment to breath" spoke Yami softly as he shut his eyes wondering how his parents were doing or what they were up to.
He opened his eyes to look at what December was doing as she looked down at the book wondering what it was, 'May I enquire as to what you are working on. Perhaps I may be able to offer my assistance?" asked Yami politely as he moved his head to the right slightly. Without the intention too he flashed a lady killer smile one designed to make women swoon at the sight of it.

Thinking over the comment in the book she was probably looking into more then she should have, but it was just one of those things that made her stop and think. It sort of reminded her of those poems by that professor in Kanto. What was his name again? Oh yea Oak. How on earth did she forget that. She was so stupid sometimes. Blinking she found herself allowing her mind to wonder so she focused away from the question in the book. Looking towards Yami she listened to what he was saying. He listened to his reason or rather reasons for joining Cherilli. That last point in his reasoning made her smile. Not a shy little lip curl either, but a soft toothy like grin. There was a small huffed but sort of hidden laugh to go a long with it too.
Looking back at her notes she pondered his reasons, but then her mind was drawn away as he asked her what she was working on. Looking back at him she lowered her book down on the table to reveal the chapter. "Um, just reading a head, but there is this question in here..." She spoke softly and looked out the window again before looking back. Did she want to ask him what he thought? Would it make her sound stupid? "I don't get it." She allowed the words to slip from her lips before she could stop them. She felt her face get hot, followed by her whole body before she finally ask him what the book had asked. "Why is ditto like the wind?" There it was asked and if he thought she was a complete moron well she could always go read and hide away in her dorm.

The right side of Yami's lip curved upwards to form a smile at the sight of her soft grin but it was quickly halted as he returned to his expressionless gaze. So she was reading ahead of her course seemed like a smart thing to do. Her problem was being caused by a question, he wandered what this question was she didn't get. He titled his head slightly, why is ditto like the wind. Quite an intriguing question and there could possibly be many answers to this particular question. Yami shut his eyes beginning to think long and hard over how he should answer this question. The wind was free going where it wanted, being what it wanted that was what the wind was.
Yami smirked and opened his eyes having an idea to the question, "Why is Ditto like the Wind huh? I suppose much like the wind Ditto is a free being. The wind can freely change and shape itself much like Ditto. Ditto can be a soft friendly zizagoon like the wind can be a soft gentle breeze. But like the wind which can change into giant ferocious hurricane winds Ditto can take the shape of a rampaging and mighty Tyranitar. The wind is free to be what it wishes and so is Ditto" spoke Yami softly as he gazed into December's eyes, "At least that is how I interpret the question" said Yami again as he gave a soft yawn using his free hand to cover his mouth so as to be polite.

The girl shifted a little in her seat. Moving from one hip to the next if you will for her leg was falling a sleep. She listened to what Yami thought the question meant and as she did that she had a rather curious look on her face. "Sounds logical..." She mused softly. However she wasn't sure. Surely there where many different ways to think about it and there where no wrong answers. Stupid ones maybe, but wrong ones? She wasn't sure.
"I have been to every region, but I...have never seen a ditto." She said softly as she took out her pokedex to try to find what it looked like. Would it be in there? She wasn't sure but she was looking. As she searched, she started to feel really stupid. How could a girl who has been to every region, who has lived in everyone not have seen a ditto before? Such an odd thing. What was even odder was the fact that she couldn't find it in the pokedex. seeing Yami yawn she started to wonder if maybe she was boring him.
ooc: No way I wrote this made her sound smart. o.o Poor Ember.)

Yami merely eyed her his gaze neutral his expression calm as he spoke once more, "Just because one has travelled the regions does not mean they will meet every last pokemon in existence. There are that many in the world that in just a short span of time it is nearly impossible to see and record each and everyone one of them. Most pokemon professors and trainers will spend most of their lives recording and documenting every pokemon they see yet they will still not meet last one in existence. When their time comes to an end there will be those Pokemon that have escaped them" said Yami his voice soft and calm with a wise tone in it. He seemed wise beyond his years as he sat there.
Yami took a swig of his water bottle deciding to recall what he knew of the pokemon known as ditto, "Ditto the shape shifting. It has the ability to reconstitute its entire cellular structure to transform into whatever it sees. It can transform into anything. When it sleeps, it changes into a stone to avoid being attacked. Its transformation ability is said to be perfect. However, if made to laugh, it can't maintain its disguise. You claim to not have met Ditto but the truth is there is a possibility that you may have interacted with one over the years it may have merely altered its shape taking the form of another object, person or Pokemon" said Yami using his left hand to make hand gestures to enhance his points.

As she searched her pokedex she listened to Yami and felt sort of stupid for what she had said. Her face started to turn red again, as he talked about just because someone has been to every region and what not. That was very true, and she wished she hadn't said anything about never seeing ditto before. Finding the picture of Ditto she read what was in there, and found that is mostly matched what was being told to her. Man, what was this kid's name again? Yami the pokedex master? Oh, wait that was a rather rude thought. Maybe she should apologize for that, well maybe not. It might seem odd to randomly say sorry to him. She was already a weird girl in general. Looking at the pokemon on the screen she found it interesting looking, but she really wouldn't want one. "A pokemon that only knows one attack?" She said softly. It wasn't really a question for the teen at the table with her, but it was more of a thought said a loud.
"Well, it is possible one of my siblings had one." She said softly as she put her pokedex away and took a drink of her water before putting it back on the floor. "Out of everyone in my family there are at least sixty pokemon." She added again in a soft voice as she thought about her family. Most of her siblings had a full team of pokemon, some didn't, as some had given a few of their pokemon away to friends, breeders and even their own children. Still at one point all eleven of her siblings had full times of six, most of them had more when they where on their journeys. "Have you ever seen a Ditto, or have any siblings?" She asked shyly as she looked at him before she looked back at her book and started to read it again.

So most of her family were also Pokemon trainers interesting. So she had most likely grown up surrounded by an environment that nurtured the growth to become Pokemon enthusiasts. Unlike his household his parents weren't interested in pokemon nor were his grandparents as they had focused on different careers for the community instead. Unlike them he had somehow branched out of the career path to be electricians, lawyers, doctors, surgeons, nurses ect and had gone along the road of a Pokemon Trainer as he wanted to be a pokemon professor. He wandered what it would be like growing up in a house hold such as December's full of pokemon enthusiasts. He smiled softly as she asked if he had seen a ditto or had any siblings off his own. He turned the page in his book and decided to answer as he scribbled down notes, "To answer your first query no I have not seen a Ditto, seeing as I rarely travelled outside of my home town Mahogany or where I undertook my private studies Saffron City" explained Yami as he finished scribbling his notes and put his pen down.
"As for your second inquiry no I do not have any siblings. My parents are well quite focused on their careers if you will. While they have had me that have not conceived another, though I have been made aware my parents have been attempting to try for a second child." spoke Yami going into an explanation of sorts, why even he did not know he could merely have stated not at this point. He coughed slightly as he decided to press forth with a query of his own, "December, would you perchance do me the honour of joining me for a drink sometime?" he asked politely as looked the girl in the eyes.
