In Red and Blue, you were able to use a fishing rod on the Rhydon statues. However, nothing was found unless you used an Old Rod.

Okay, Snorunt to Froslass, right?
Seems normal.
Well, think of it this way.
Snorunt is an ice type and Froslass is ice and ghost dual type.
The Dawn Stone emits light, and light is heat. So the Snorunt couldn't handle to heat of the stone and died in the process of evolution. That's why it gained such type.

Deino and its evolutions have the german numbers of one, two and three in their names: DEINo, ZWEIlous and HyDREIgon.
Also a Wailord breeding with a Skitty or Diglet...how do it not crush them?
