Nate smiled at Sawyer. He knew a few people who wanted to become Pokemon masters. It was not what he was interested in, but it was a worthy goal. "That's neat. I've thought about entering the Sinnoh league once just for the experience. I'm also entering the March Pokemon contest, so we'll see where that goes." He chuckled lightly. Just because he was certain about his dreams did not mean he could not dabble in other activities. He had a long life ahead of him, and he wanted to live it to the fullest. He leaned back on the couch and sipped his smoothie. Little pleasures in life could be so enjoyable.

Sawyer nodded when he mentioned entering the Sinnoh League. She had considered going to that region after she was through with Unova. Perhaps they would see each other there. She definitely was not going to be entering any contests, but at least Nate was trying new things. "Both are probably useful for a breeder. You can learn about Pokemon in different settings. Get a more complete picture." She shrugged. She did not know much about Pokemon breeding, but that was the way it seemed to her.

"Right," Nate said. That was a good point. He wanted to learn everything he could about Pokemon so he could help them and care for him to the best of his ability. That was why he was at school. He watched Watcher with his smoothie as he drank his own, vaguely wondering if the rain would let up soon. Well, they might as well enjoy their time here. He glanced at the TV before looking back at Sawyer. "Do you want to watch something?" He was unsure what was on, but it was worth a look.

Sawyer sipped her smoothie as she considered the question. Kopa was pretty comfortable, and they could not leave until the rain stopped. They would probably have to stay here for awhile. She reached forward and grabbed the remote from the coffee table in front of her. "Sure. What do you want to watch? I'm still not familiar with the stations here." She held the remote out to him, figuring he had a better grasps on the networks than she did. She liked most any shows anyway once she gave them a chance.

Nate took the remote from her. He thought for a minute before he began to flip through the channels. "I'm not sure what I want to watch," he admitted. "I don't watch much TV. Perhaps the battle channel?" He flipped until he found the correct station. Since Sawyer wanted to be a Pokemon master, he thought she might enjoy watching someone else's battle. He found it a good way to learn and improve his own skills. He was pleased to find a battle playing. He hoped it would be enjoyable. He glanced at the girl to make sure this was fine.
Watcher looked up at the TV and smiled. It was a battle! <This looks good,> he said. He was as eager to learn from others as his trainer.

"That sounds good," Sawyer said, nodding at Nate's suggestion. She did not watch much TV herself. She preferred to be outside battling or training. On a rainy day like this, though, her options were limited. She smiled at Nate when he found a battle. This looked like it could be interesting. She might as well try to pick up what she could. She preferred to do things her own way, but she knew observing more experienced trainers could be useful.
Kopa opened an eye to peak at the TV. <What's this?> he asked sleepily.

Watcher glanced at Kopa. <It's a Pokemon battle,> he explained. He looked back at the TV to watch eagerly.
Nate grew silent as he watched the program. The battle was a pretty good one. A Raichu and Charmeleon were battling. In the end, the fire type won. Both Nate and his Eevee had finished their smoothies by then. The trainer leaned forward so he could look out the window. "I think the rain has stopped," he said. that meant they could all go home.

<Ok, cool,> Kopa said. He curled his tail around his paws as he watched. he occasionally bent down to take a sip of his smoothie. When Nate mentioned it had stopped raining, he sat up and looked around eagerly. <Great!> He could not wait to get out of there.
Sawyer enjoyed the battle. She made mental notes about different techniques when necessary. She hoped she could raise her Litleo to be as strong of a fire Pokemon as that Charmeleon. She smiled at Nate's comment. "That's awesome." She turned to Kopa. "Do you want to get out of here, buddy?" She was itching to get out there and try some actual training herself.

Watcher glanced outside at the mention of the rain stopping. He smiled in pleasure. It had been nice to relax, but now they could get back home. He looked back at his trainer eagerly. <I'm ready to go.>
Nate smiled at his Pokemon, guessing at what he had said. "Alright," he said. "We can head back to our dorm." He turned to Sawyer. "It was nice hanging out with you. Maybe I'll see you later." He liked the girl, and he wondered if they could have a battle sometime. He wanted to test out that Litleo's power.

<Yes,> Kopa said to his trainer. <I'm ready.> He glanced at Watcher. <It was nice meeting you. Let's battle sometime.> He hopped down on the floor and headed for the door.
Sawyer nodded at Nate. It looked like both of their Pokemon were ready to leave. "Yeah, see you later." He was nice enough, and it would be good to have friends from other teams. She stood up and followed her Litleo out the door. She was glad the rain was gone... for now.

Nate watched Sawyer and Kopa walk out of the building. Then he turned back to Watcher. "Ready to go, buddy?" He was looking forward to getting back to his dorm so he could get some work done.
Watcher smiled as he swished his tail. <You bet!> He turned and led the way out of the lounge.
Nate chuckled as he followed his Pokemon out the door. It was back to Sinnoh Hall to get ready for a new adventure! OOC: finished
