December was really excited she had finally scrapped together enough money to buy a pokemon egg from the adoption center and so she set out to the city to get one. She had left Sandy in her pokeball which as in her pocket and told the pokemon that she was going to get a surprise. Something she hoped they both would enjoy. That had made the yellow pokemon so excited and happy.
Finally making it to the adoption center December walked into the building and looked around a little bit as there was someone already being helped at the counter. Once he left she went up and placed her money on the counter while she spoke shyly. "Um, hi. I would like to buy an egg please. An Ice one if you have on--ow!" She had almost finished asking for an ice type egg when a little water pokemon with large teeth ran over and bite her on the arm right above her wrist. "Ow! Let go PLEASE." She cried as the pokemon even draw some blood. It then let go and started laughing like it was funny. Someone needed to teach that pokemon that bite is not okay to use as a joke. |

The girl at the register listened to December request an ice egg. She was about to speak when the Totodile clamped onto her arm. Alarmed, the cashier pushed a button to call for help. Right when the Pokemon let go, a man walked over to December. "Sorry about that," he said as he picked up a struggling Totodile. "He really does not mean any harm." Despite being a shiny, the water type's personality and price had prevented anyone from buying him for many months. Hopefully he would find a good home soon.
Meanwhile, the cashier had gone to the back and picked out an egg. "This is an ice egg," she said to December. "It costs $2500." She held it out for her to take. Then she would accept the payment and process it.

As the water pokemon let go and a man grabbed him December sighed as she rubbed her arm. "It is okay, he seems just a little high strong." She said as the pokemon was taken some place else. She did feel sorry for the little guy, maybe someone should try giving him something to bite like a teething ring or something. I giant truck tire perhaps? Looking now at the cashier as she came out with an egg and spoke Ember looked at it then nodded.
"Alright here you are." She said exchanging her money for the egg and taking hold of it carefully. The girl wondered if it was a pokemon who was just one hundred percent ice, or if there was a small chance that her favorite water, ice pokemon was inside of it. Yet, she doubted that there was a Lapras in the egg. Her arm hurt and she would have to have it looked over for sure at least by the nurse. As heavy as the egg was too with her now sore arm she would have to let Sandy out of her pokeball and have her carry the egg. She knew her pokemon would love that.
Waiting for everything to get processed, as soon as they where finished she said goodbye and left to return to school grounds and her dorm. Oh she was so very excited, and in sometime she would have her second pokemon for her team. Oh how wonderful. |
