Nature: Shinigami or Shi for short is a mischievous Gengar known for pulling pranks on his unsuspecting prey. He gets into all kinds of mischievous chaos even going so far as nearly killing someone for a joke. Even in most battles he is a prankster pulling pranks on his opponent or even cheating if he has to. Though when it comes to the crunch Shinigami is quite serious especially in battle and desperate times. Shinigami will often ignore the commands of his trainer using his own judgement and battle instincts. This has caused a pit of tension with previous trainers and caused them to release Gengar into the wild for not obeying commands, although his judgement has caused many victories and has been of a higher thinking than his old trainers.
History: Once a simple Gastly Shinigami was born in Lavender Town inside of the Pokemon Tower arising amongst the graves of deceased pokemon. Here he wondered through the night scaring visitors and battling trainers often winning. As the years went by Shi watched as his friends were caught and he was left alone to wander the night. In his depressed state he evolved transforming into a Haunter. He began to prank the visitors during the day scaring them into leaving the tower. Many brave trainers attempted to catch him to end his reign of terror but each time he defeated them. As a Haunter he had a unique range of moves Fire Punch, Ice Punch and Thunder Punch offering a large amount of diversity in his move combo's. One fateful day however he was caught by a roaming trainer hoping to use him against Sabrine the Saffron City Gym Leader. He clashed with his Alakazam being blown back many times. He was beginning to become annoyed at his trainer's foolish commands and took over the battle ignoring his trainer and used his own moves. Using combo's of Ice Punch to freeze and Dark Pulse followed Thunder Punch when the freezing wore off to paralyse. While his trainer had won he released Shi for his disobedience.
Shi wandered Saffron city from then on haunting the locals scaring them even going so far as to almost killing a number of the citizens. His antics made him hunter again by more trainer's until he was caught once again month's later by a new trainer. Like the first this new trainer was young and foolish giving stupid commands. In each battle Shi ignored his trainer doing as he pleased before evolving into a Gengar only to be released into the wild. Over the Year's Shi went through many new trainers as he grew in strength but like the rest was discarded for disobeying their commands believing he was always smarter then them even learning sign language before he came to reside at Cherilli Academy and began haunting the students.
