An eerie silence fell over the lounge room of the water building as the moon shined above. A pair of blood red eyes opened in the night glowing menacingly as they headed into the room. A mouth appeared beneath them , the mouth was wide forming a large mischievous grin. A creepy chuckle escaped the mouth as its eyes glowed scanning the room. The eyes headed into the room towards a chair cackling madly as the temperature in the room began to drop rapidly. A blue aurora appeared in the air and touched the lounge before it began to rapidly freeze over turning into a giant ice cube. The creature cackled as he floated over to the tv and did the same turning it to ice with his ice punch move. The creature floated up to the lights cackling as his fist was encased with electricity and he punched it making the lights explode as glass rained to the floor. The being laughed and floated to the next light set doing the exact same thing. Oh this was so much fun causing destruction. He cackled as he floated over to the computer's and began to levitate them into the air around him before sending them flying at a wall crashing and shattering against it.
As he moved past a window the moon light pierced through illuminating the creature. The creature had a dark purple roundish body standing on its hind legs making it bipedal. It had red eyes and a wide mouth that is usually curled into a sinister grin. Multiple spikes cover its back, and it has large pointed ears. Its arms and legs are short with three digits on both its hands and feet. It also has a stubby tail. This creature was the ghost poison pokemon known as Gengar and had a rather mischievous streak. The pokemon had been around for many years starting out as a Gastly in Lavender Town Kanto region before arriving at Cherilli having been released from countless trainers. This Gengar had the nasty habit of not obeying its master's instead following its own commands in battle and always winning as when it listened to its trainer's it always came close to loosing he found. This Gengar was also quite intelligent having learned sign language to communicate with the humans. The creature opened its mouth revealing its long tongue as it cackled in the night.
The Gengar had a particular unique name, he was known as Shinigami translated this meant 'God of Death'. He found it strange but he rather liked the name saying that he was some sort of God that brought death to all who came across him. This was true as he had killed a few humans even pokemon over the years with his pranks. If they couldn't handle a good scare not his fault they died. The pokemon floated over to the fridge where the food was and opened it. He then began to chow down on everything inside eating it post haste. The creature moved from the empty fridge and released a loud burp an d patted its belly. It then proceeded float over to the tables and cackled as it held its hands in front of it generating a sphere made of slithering shadows. He then released the sphere sending it crashing into one of the tables snapping it in half and sending the pieces flying across the room. The Gengar cackled at the sight of its destruction but he was not finished.

The moon was awake, so Circe was awake. She prowled the school grounds, restless. Her hands were already dirty. Her poor roommate was going to wake up tomorrow to a bunch of twigs, leaves, and blossoms piled on Circe’s bed. Oh, well. She couldn’t sleep, though. She just wanted to move, to flex her muscles and experience the power so many people forgot laid within their bodies.
She felt that tonight was an absolutely lovely night to screech some ugly little melody, something the child of a siren and a banshee might utter. As she passed by the enclosed pool, she admired the moon’s reflection over the dark waters. How much lovelier the pool would be, she thought, if it had a tree or two in it with a muddy bottom and maybe some young totodiles learning how to do their death rolls. Yes… so much lovelier with a little decoration. But, she didn’t have the means or the right to do something like that. Yes, yes, always respect rights. Always, always, always.
When the hairs along the back of her neck stood up, Circe turned her ruby red eyes to the lounge. Noises like the wilderness let loose in flesh echoed out of it, dulled by the walls. Flickers of light caught even more of her attention. She approached the building, crooked teeth giving her a feline’s slack jawed look of curiosity.
She opened the door. Looking up all the chaos and destruction, she decided that this was also right. Rights were given to those with power, and while the school had power over her and thus rights over her, whatever had done this had rights over the school, she knew within her heart. Smiling like the second mouse arriving at a trap, she looked for what had caused the ugliness.
And then the eyes of a murderer met the eyes of another murderer.

Gengar cackled as he headed over to the curtains bringing his fists around as they caught ablaze. Fire burned brightly in the darkness as he moved his fists to the bottoms of the curtain. The curtain caught ablaze as smoke filtered into the room causing the Gengar to laugh in delight as the sight as the fire spread to the rest of the curtains igniting them in a glorious blazing glory. The pokemon cackled evilly clapping his hands together as the flames continued to burn. The curtains fell to the floor as they began to dissolve into ash. The flames spread along the floor to the tables igniting them as well as the fire burned everything it touched. This was glorious! A blazing inferno, the mayhem and destruction how he loved it, only a pity no one else was here to enjoy it.
Shinigami turned blinking as he caught the sight of someone else in the room. He stared into her eyes noticing something in them, something he only saw in a certain group of human's, the look to kill, the eyes of death. He cackled loudly as he floated over to the girl making a creepy chuckle as he floated around her. He levitated up to the ceiling laughing as he formed a shadow sphere in his right hand firing it at the closet object, being the TV. The shadow ball struck the TV punching a hole straight through it before it fell to the ground with a loud thud. The pokemon dance in the air hovering about all the while laughing in glee at the destruction as the fire spread up the walls glass shattering.

The fires cast a grim glow upon the dark faced witch. A grin twitched across her lips, snaggle-teeth poking out in a tigress’s smile. She stepped fully into the room when the little death god acknowledged her.
The room felt like home. Ankles turned quickly over the floor as she made her way deeper into the devastated room. Each movement was a show of force, jerky and purposeful. Most would panic or at least have the sense of self preservation to flee from the room at this point.
Circe? She thought the smoke smelled nice and that the glittering firelit glass made a pretty sight among the other broken things littering the room. ”You break things pretty,” she gibbered, moving to lean on the table with the same posturing a cat waiting to spring upon a bird had. Her shoulders were close to her ears as she leaned on the broken table. Curiosity ran through her. ”You gonna burn it all down?” And, then better questions came. ”Can I watch?
“Can I help?” Because it was his right due to his power to instruct her to leave, the cast her out, but he hadn’t done so thus far and she so desperately missed that old haunted castle. Just a night of drinking in carnage--even just crimes against the inanimate--would vitalize her.

Shi cackled with delight as the lounge burned down. He turned to the girl as she gibbered about him breaking this pretty. He raised an eyebrow before cackling as she asked if he was going to burn it all down. He blinked and looked around the room as the fire spread even further. He cackled further as his hands were encased in ice. He hovered up to the roof and laughed as he touched it causing the ice to spread across the top melting as it came in contact with the flames making it pour with rain soaking the carpet as the flames were put out. The Gengar cackled as he touched the floor with his ice punch causing it to freeze over and spread across the room taking in the moisture as the entire room was frozen over causing the temperature to drop. He turned to Circe looking at her and pointed as if saying 'does that answer your question'? While one could rebuild from a fire a flood is harder and ice even more so as it has to defrost then everything has to be removed due to being soaked by the residue water.
The Gengar looked at the girl and began to make strange hand gestures, sign language. He began to sign to the girl asking <Do you know sign?> with his hands if she didn't it would be a shame but he would just have to find another way to communicate with her. He was tempted to say she could assist him but it might have been a trick into trying to capture him but this girl looked relatively new as a trainer. He cackled as he floated into the air and over to the girl the temperature dropping as he got closer. He hovered in front of her before hovering up onto her right shoulder and sat there cackling demonically.

Hm… ice? That was certainly less interesting. Circe frowned a bit, already missing the fire. Fire was so pretty. Ice was just kind of troublesome. Seeing that the ghost was apparently done wreaking havoc--from what she could tell--Circe’s interest at once dropped greatly. She tilted her head, sniffing at the noxious fumes of the ghost.
Her head swam at the toxic odors and she grinned. Smelled like home! However, she had no idea what he had been trying to get her attention for. Grinning with her canine teeth poking out, Circe giggled. It sounded entirely too innocent to be coming from a girl who prowled campus grounds at night just because the moon happened to be up. The creepy chick figured that, if the gengar was done being destructive, it was time to go. ”Hey, I think I’m going to go. Next time you break stuff, invite me, okay?!”

Gengar smiled at the girl as she giggled, but his smile soon drooped as she said she was going. He had felt a connection with the girl why was she leaving. He grabbed a hold of her shoulder shaking his head slightly, "Gengar!" he said as he looked at the girl a grin forming on his lips as he floated up and landed on her head. He leaned forward so he could look into her eyes and chuckled in a creepy manner as he lifted his arms up and down, "Gengar Gen!" he said as if trying to communicate with the girl saying he wanted to come along with her. For the years he had been alive he had never felt such a kinship to another being not even to those of his own kind. This girl seemed to spark something inside of him and he didn't want her to leave without him. For once in his life he wanted to be with someone. The trainers whom he caught him he never formed a bond with at all but there was something different about this girl. even if she didn't catch him he wanted to at least follow her around so as to pretend in the very least he wasn't a wild pokemon that way it would give him the time to find someone else whom he could connect with.

The creeper turned around, curious as to what else the ghost wanted. Did he have a ritualistic sacrifice he needed her help with? Her blood levels were pretty high last she checked; it probably wouldn’t hurt to donate a little. Tilting her head, Circe tried to understand the pokemon atop her head.
Living around ghost types long enough, she knew most of their speech. Oh! Why hadn’t he just said all this in the first place, instead of making all those weird gestures? She chuckled, sharp teeth gleaming in the odd light of the ruined room. ”... me?!” What an honor. She’d have to make all kinds of blood sacrifices to this guy! He was so strong and she wasn’t actually that well versed in battling. She lifted a hand into her wild mane, fishing around for a pokeball. Um, no. That was a bunch of apple seeds. Water hemlock, nah. … here we go, pokeball! Offering it to the gengar, she made it very clear that Shinigami would be allowing himself to be captured.
It was only right.
If he captured himself, she’d let him out right after.

Gengar grinned as he hovered down from the girls head nodding his head big time as he floated about cackling in glee. He floated to a stop as she began to fish through her hair pulling out apple seeds, a water hemlock before grabbing a pokeball. Gengar floated around laughing in a creepy yet seemingly happy manner before he floated back down and grabbed a hold of the pokeball. He looked at it inspecting the device with a scrutinising gaze. The Gengar tapped the pokeball once nothing happened, he did it a second time same thing. He titled his head before he pushed the button making it enlarge. He grinned as the pokeball crew in the palm of his hand. He floated about again giving a creepy chuckle at his success before he floated to Circe and handed the ball back to her. He then tapped his hand on the sphere causing it to open and a red beam of light to shoot out and hit him head on. The beam sealed him into the sphere which shook once, twice then thrice before it stopped and made a dinging sound signalling his capture. The sphere suddenly opened as Gengar came flying right out chuckling in glee. He had often let himself out without being commanded many times as he had inspect the few pokeballs he had seen over the years, it was amazing what people lost while travelling. Gengar floated to the ground his hand sparking as he began to write a message into the ice he stepped back when finished. In the ice it said 'My Name is Shinigami (God of Death), what is yours?' Species: Gengar Type: Ghost | Poison Name: Shinigami (Shi for short) Gender:Male Level: 50 Attacks: Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse, Nightshade, Dream Eater, Hypnosis Egg Moves: Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch Abilities: Levitate Nature: Shinigami or Shi for short is a mischievous Gengar known for pulling pranks on his unsuspecting prey. He gets into all kinds of mischievous chaos even going so far as nearly killing someone for a joke. Even in most battles he is a prankster pulling pranks on his opponent or even cheating if he has to. Though when it comes to the crunch Shinigami is quite serious especially in battle and desperate times. Shinigami will often ignore the commands of his trainer using his own judgement and battle instincts. This has caused a pit of tension with previous trainers and caused them to release Gengar into the wild for not obeying commands, although his judgement has caused many victories and has been of a higher thinking than his old trainers. Circe gingerly held the pokeball, the same way she held onto newborn ghosts. Such tender things were in her hands--not because she could hurt them, but because she could betray their trust and they would in turn hurt her. The wispy wraiths were perfectly capable of ending her life… but she liked them all the more for it.
A grin crossed her face when he let himself out. ”Clever,” was all she complimented. He needn’t hear more. He already knew, she bet, how smart he was. The girl read over his note, putting the pokeball back in her hair along with the water hemlock and the apple seeds. She pointed at herself. ”My real name is Agrona, but you mustn’t tell these heathen civils,” she explained. To her, the heathen civils were those who allowed themselves to be domesticated. In exchange for comfortable living, they gave up their wilder, more savage sides. ”I am named Circe by these people.”
Stepping closer to the gengar, figured that, in reality, she much more belonged to him now than he belonged to her. ”How many have you felled?” she pressed, thinking of his name. What a sick little girl, fawning over a phantom the way a healthy child might oogle over an idol. She inquired about his kill count the way some girls might ask a boy about how many pokemon he’d caught.
It was all a game to her. If you won, you got to continue doing what you loved. If you lost, well, you didn’t play very well in the first place.

Gengar titled his head as she introduced her real name Agrona followed by a second name Circe. He nodded his head and began to cackle as he wrote into the ice <I shall reap the souls of the heathens shishishishishi>. He circled the room but stopped as she asked how many he has felled. He paused in mid air and seemed to do some counter on his fingerless hands before flying to the ice and marking marks in it in order to tally up before putting trainers above it. Under it was the tally total of 15. Around the word trainer was a number of skulls. He then moved over to another piece of ice and wrote in pokemon before starting to make a tally up but stopped at thirty as he paused. He titled his head rubbing his chin before putting down a large number of question marks followed by <I forget. Stopped counting at thirty. Far too many souls>.
The Gengar known as Shinigami cackled evilly as he floated up into the air hovering in front of Circe. He pointed to himself then circe as if to say 'we' before smashing his right fist into his left hand to say 'smash' before pointing outside as if to say 'everyone'. His message we smash everyone before giving her a questioning look. He really wanted to kick some butt. He floated to the ice writing into it, <Kill, maim, crush everyone! Teacher's, Gym leaders, management, pokemon and students?> He wanted to battle!

Would he really? Reap all of their souls… How pure the world would be then. The slaughtering would become normal and the weak would once again take their rightful place as food for the strong. It had been ever so long since she had been able to eat in peace…
”That’s more than me,” she admitted. ”I’ve killed my fair share of pokemon back home, but I only got my foster family here.” They’d been so foolish, so trusting, so loving. She didn’t really understand the concept of blood being thicker than water, and she hadn’t gotten to try it out. After all, these heathen rules forbid the killing of others. It was so dumb. They encouraged competition over the dumbest of things, but to eliminate a rival so openly they frowned upon. What backwards, confused people these civils were. ”I’d much like to become your apprentice, then,” she confessed.
Once he mentioned battling and his desire to beat everyone else, she nodded. ”The heathens are only awake during the day, mostly. It’d be easy to whip them at night… but you deserve respect, Shinigami.” She crossed her arms, nodding. Circe would see to it that her new ‘god’ had his respect. ”We’ll defeat a battle leader soon, I promise.” Then, word would spread, she hoped, that homage was due to the real powers of this world.
Not money nor popularity, but brute strength. The old ways, the rights of nature. The right of the strong was to devour the weak and Circe would see to it that the strongest among them was hailed as the king he was.

The Gengar cackled madly as the girl said she wanted to become his apprentice. He floated onto her shoulder and pat her on the head before leaning against her with a smirk, "Gen! (Sure)" he said nodding his head as he accepted the girl as his apprentice in the dark arts. He floated and stared at the moon and grinned oh he couldn't wait to make this world pay! He would crush all the trainers who stood before him! He would show them true despair! They would recoil in fear of his power. He cackled evilly as a dark aurora surrounding him encasing his entire body. He gave a cry as a pulse of dark energy released from his body encasing the room in a dark vile energy. The ice shattered under the force of his dark room as the walls cracked. The glass shattered outwards from the frozen windows as the walls crumbled revealing the structure. The pulse would leave the girl unharmed.
He turned to his new owner and cackled darkly rubbing his hands together. He could not wait to defeat a battle leader. A thought popped into mind as he froze a piece of the floor and used his thunder punch to write, <May I go challenge others on my own in your name?> he asked with a massive grin. Shi was quite capable of handling himself and because he belonged to someone then no one would be able to capture him oh the brilliance.

He was gonna take her on as his apprentice? Good. She sat down, red eyes intent on his movements. Her eyes bounced over to the beauty of the damaged room. Glass glimmered in the moonlight and ice slowly began to melt. She realized she had been unharmed and felt privileged. It was only right, though. What beast destroyed a still useful tool? What warrior hurt a still useful weapon? A foolish one, that’s who.
When he wrote once more, she tilted her head. Hm… these heathen rules were strange to her. Why was it that creatures who were often times more intelligent than their ‘owners’ and almost always stronger than their owners had to wait for a human’s permission. The sickness of it all infuriated her. These civils perverted the rules of the wild so intensely that the laws of nature were turned upon their heads. ”If it is what you wish,” Circe replied lightly.
She stood, realizing the hour. ”... I should return before a patrol comes along.” These civils did not appreciate a good moonlight bask nor did they have any appreciation for a damage done well. Whereas she saw the strength that went into wrecking this room, they would only see ‘wasted money’. Money, money, money--bah.
