Kagirinai looked through the forest as he wandered down the path entering deeper into the bush. Amongst his black spikes was his pokemon Dokuton a male Nidoran. The Nidoran was nuzzled into his locks sleeping soundly basking in the sun light. Kagirinai had his bag of supplies over his left shoulder with six pokeballs on his golden obi sash. The first on the right was Nidoran's ball the rest were empty spares to be used for capturing wild pokemon. He was wandering through the forest to look for pokemon to battle and to capture. He would need to boost Nidoran's strength as well as build his team up. Nidoran was quite weak at the moment but most starter level pokemon were. If he wanted to become strong he would have to train and train. Though he was looking forward to the day he could evolve Nidoran into a Nidoking. Nidoking could learn a variety of moves by tm dark, fire, ice, ground and psychic type attacks that helped to build up the diversity of its attacks. Of course it would be a long time before that finally happened. Kagirinai shook his head and continued on deciding to simply focus on the task at hand.
The task was simple, find pokemon, battle said pokemon and either capture said pokemon or leave them be. He only had a limited supply of pokeballs and potions on hand so he wouldn't be able to survive to much out here. Most likely he would only survive the first two pokemon encounters before he would have to head back and let Dokuton recover. He brushed a spiked bang out of his eyes as he trekked through the forest never knowing what he might run into.

It was a pleasant, bright day. It was only natural that the bunnelby would spent it imitating his idol, Bugs Bunnelby. Digging along underground, the gray-and-brown pokemon emerged only when his tiny tremors returned evidence of something tall and much heavier than him in the area. Emerging from the ground, the bunnelby took a moment to eat a carrot he had been storing away. <Ehhh, what’s up, doc?> God, he’d been dying to say that. Luckily, this guy actually looked like a doctor. Score. species: bunnelby gender: male level: 6 |

Kagirinai glanced down at the Bunnelby with a blank stare, this little pokemon looked stupid he had to admit that. From his research the Kalos region seemed to have a number of ridiculous looking pokemon but so did Unova. It was like the creator of all pokemon had run out of ideas for the pokemon that would call those two regions home and just started taking the drawings of three year olds and bringing them to life. He shook his head before speaking, "Dokuton (Poison Release)!" he spoke in a calm tone. The Nidoran opened his eyes and stared down at the stupid looking bunny pokemon. he almost burst into laughing but kept his composure before leaping down from his spot and onto the ground, " Dokuton you know what to do" said his trainer. The male Nidoran nodded his head and leered at the normal type to lower its defensive before his horn glowed and he charged forth to use peck on the opposing enemy  Level: 5

As ridiculous as bunnelby looked, it wasn’t much worse than literally just a purple rat. The more things changed, the more they stayed the same. Now, the bunnelby was a lot of things--devilish, sassy, a bit too confident in his own abilities--but dumb wasn’t one of them. When the nidoran appeared, mister cottontail jumped straight out of his hole and stood a good three feet away, grinning as cheekily as ever. A leer? Okay, that was fine by him. He snickered, raising a foot and using the peck attack to lift himself higher into the air. Sure, his foot was bleeding a bit now, but it was nothing compared to what was about to happen to the poor nidoran. <It’s rude not to greet strangers, doc!> the bunnelby bit out. Using agility attack and then his tackle, the bunnelby finished off his own first moves by activating his huge power ability. The power of his moves was doubled. level: 6 attacks: tackle, agility, leer abilities: pickup, cheek pouch, huge power hit by: leer, peck used: agility, tackle health: green |

Nidoran smirked as the bunny leapt into the air using his horn to propel him before coming at him with agility and a tackle attack. Nidoran lowered his poisonous horn allowing the blow to connect in the hopes of poisoning the foolish bunny for clashing against him. Nidoran slid back from the increase of power from the flow. He shook his head before leering again to lower the defence of the opposing pokemon to boost the strength of his own moves. His horn glowed as he rushed forward again to slam into the enemy with his peck. Level:5

Whoops! That could have been bad! The bunnelby was hit by the nidoran’s horn and realized how lucky he was he hadn’t been poisoned… this time. Next time, he probably wouldn’t be so lucky. The bunnelby lowered his eye lids with his paws, leering back in his own way. <Nyeh, smile some, ya’ fugly bun-bun!> They were both rabbits, judging by the nidoran’s ears. They really should be brothers in arms. Eh. That meant the two bucks had to share does when it came to that sort of thing… Nah, enemies was okay. Being pecked again, the bunnelby took this time to try to tackle the nidoran right in his mouth. Maybe that’d be a critical hit. If not… well, he risked being hit by that horn. He didn’t think he’d escape a second encounter unpoisoned. level: 6 attacks: tackle, agility, leer abilities: pickup, cheek pouch, huge power hit by: leer, peck used: leer, tackle health: low green |

Nidoran re-angled his horn as the bunny came charging again for a tackle. Nidoran slid back a few feet but dug his feet in coming to an abrupt stop. He shook his head from the flow and leered forth mixing it in with a glare as he puffed his chest out. He stomped the ground as his horn began to glow once more. He stomped the earth and began to charge again heading towards the bunny and lunged forth with the intent to slam head on into the rabbit like pokemon hoping to do some extra damage. The bunnelby felt the poison enter him. It burned. However, he wasn’t some little boy. He was a master trickster. Bounding back despite the tingling in his forehead, he danced back and forth on his huge hind legs. He span as the nidoran ran past him, peck completely missing. Nidoran merely glared at the bunny as he leered him decreasing his defence. The male nidoran leered back instantly to decrease the opposing pokemons defence. The normally lazy pokemon focused on his horn letting it glow bright yellow as he activated his peck again. He wanted to get this battle over and done with so he could go back to relaxing in kagirinai's hair and snooze in the morning sunday. The male lowered his horn and charged forth lunging again at the enemy hoping to hit this time. The bunnelby, judging his own strength and time left to deal with the poison, decided he could risk a direct hit with the nidoran’s peck once more. Already poisoned, he had nothing more to risk. As such, he hoped to tip the bunnelby over with his tackle. Nidoran glared at the bunny as he began to charge with another tackle. Nidoran judged his time as the faster pokemon approached. He quickly reacted leaping to the side to avoiding being hit by the blow. He then used his leer once more to lower the bunnies defence as well. This pokemon was getting on his nerve busy so talkative. He couldn't wait to put him down as they say. The Nidoran patted the ground before he charged towards the annoying bunny horn lowered as it glowed in order to ram into it with peck. He couldn't wait to wipe the smug smirk of its stupid little face. Kagirinai fiddled with one of his pokeballs, although the pokemon didn't suit him he could probably sell it off and get a bit of cash. <Olé.> the bunnelby said, sidestepping the peck with a sigh. Honestly, what was this guy, a tauros? If he didn’t want the bunnelby to treat him like a bull to be avoided, he shouldn’t act like it! Smirking much more smugly than he really should, the normal type used used agility again to increase his speed. Nidoran skidded on the grass re-angling himself so the rabbit pokemon rammed into his side. The male angled himself so as to not be to badly damage. He went into a roll across the grass and leapt to his feet leering at the opposing pokemon to lower his defence before he charged forth his horn glowing again for his peck attack. He then leapt into the air the direct path of the sun so if the bunny looked up he would be blinded by the sun as Nidoran descended down to slam into him with his peck attack. Comedic to the last, the bunnelby widened his eyes as the nidoran leapt up. Realizing all too late that he had been blinded, the normal type let out an “oof” of pain as he slammed into the ground. His eyes twitched this way and that. <Ugh… anyone get the number on that license plate?> With that, he fully passed out. level: 6 attacks: tackle, agility, leer abilities: pickup, cheek pouch, huge power hit by: leer, peck used: -- health: low red (fainted)

Dokuton grinned in triumph as he knocked the annoying bunny to the ground. He ran over to his trainer and grinned up at him as he felt power running through his veins as he grew stronger. Kagirinai patted Nidoran on the head as he removed a spare pokeball from his sash and enlarged it. He took aim and threw the sphere towards the wild bunny like pokemon in order to catch it fully planning on instead selling the ridiculous looking pokemon for a bit of extra cash. He really didn't want it but someone else might like the stupid pokemon. Kagirinai removed from his bag a super potion and sprayed Nidoran's wounds watching as they were healed before him restoring the poison type to full health.
