Kagirinai crouched down picking the pokeball up and attached it to his right hip next to Dokuton's sphere when he got back to the academy he would put the bunny up for sale hoping someone would decide to purchase the stupid thing so he would have money to purchase more pokeballs. He stood up picking Dokuton up as well and placed him on top of his head. The little poison pokemon snuggled into his trainers warm hair enjoying the rays of the sun again. Kagirinai rubbed his chin as he looked at the forked path wandering if he should go left or right. Being a left brain thinker he decided to take the matching path and went left.

As graceful as a bundle of vines would be expected to be, the tangela fell from its left-side perch. With a yelp of pain, it landed on the ground. It was too caught up in its own writhing agony to note the duo behind it. species: tangela gender: female level: 7 |

Kagirinai took a moments step back as the Tangela fell to the ground before him. He stared down at his Nidoran nodding to the poison pokemon, "Dokuton you know what to do" he said. Dokuton nodded and leered towards the grass type pokemon as his horn began to glow as he activated his peck the only offensive move he knew. He then charged towards the grass type and lunged at her intending to use a flying move a grass pokemon's weakness to his advantage.  Level: 5

The tangela let out a little screech of pain when she was hit with the peck. Rolling back from the impact, she at once locked herself in with ingrain. Every turn, she would recover a bit of health. Eyeing the duo warily, she released a sleep powder. <Lemme alone!>It was turning out to be a great day. Get stood up for a date, fall out of a tree, get hit by this nidoran--just peachy! level: 7 attacks: ingrain, constrict, sleep powder, vine whip abilities: cholorphyll, leaf guard, regenerator hit by: peck, leer used: ingrain, sleep powder health: green (ingrained) |

Kagirinai quickly took note of the powder being released, "Dokuton hold your breath quick!" Nidoran nodded tooking a quick breath before the powder hit. He then leered at the Tangela as the powder fell to the ground. His horn glowed bright yellow as he charged forward exhaling as he broke free of the powder and inhaling once he was in the clerk. He lunged at the grass type aiming another peck attack towards her. A grass type might work well on his team thought the male trainer as he eyed the battle Level: 7

The tangela let out another whimper of pain when she was hit with the leer. She used one of her many vines to swat at the nidoran. "Lemme alone, lemme alone, lemme alone!!" Though she didn't know it, the only real reason she wasn't getting wasted by the peck attacks was due to the other's rivalry ability. As it was, she was also lucky she hadn't been poisoned yet. Maybe her luck would run out. Fearful, she used another sleep powder. Nidoran rolled across the grass as he was swatted by the vine whip attack. He quickly inhaled holding his breath as the grass type used her sleep powder again. He rolled out of the powder exhaling with relief. If she kept using that move he didn't know how long he'd be able to keep this up. Having to concentrate on the battle and trying to avoid being sent to sleep was hard. His horn glowed as he leered first to lower her defence to increase the blows of his attacks before he charged forth to use his peck again. Level: 7

What was this guy’s problem, anyway?! The tangela hunkered down lower, freely crying now. His pecks were really starting to hurt! She sent her vines out, trying to constrict her opponent. Dokuton maneuvered around the vines coming his way letting them clip him in exchange for avoiding being wrapped up. As the sleep powder hit Dokuton leered forth his horn glowing as he burst forth from the sleeping powder his eyes drooping slightly as he felt himself tiring. He kept strong as he charged forth and lunged with all his strength to slam into the Tangela and hit it with his peck attack. Afterwards he would collapse to the ground asleep. Level: 7

With the nidoran right in front of her, the tangela continued to sob. He attacked her! She was terrified! <Go away, go away, go away!> she sobbed. Despite the fact that her aggressor was now asleep, she readied another vine whip. If it wasn’t clear before, it was now: the tangela was hysterical. level: 7 attacks: ingrain, constrict, sleep powder, vine whip abilities: cholorphyll, leaf guard, regenerator hit by: peck, leer used: vine whip health: red (ingrained) |

Nidoran was tossed back through the air as he was struck by the vine whips. He rolled across the ground in his current state. As he rolled Kagirinai grabbed him removing an awakening from his sleeve and spraying the pokemon with it causing him to leap to his feet and glare at the opposing female pokemon with disdain. His horn glowed as he charged forth lunging at the grass type to slam into her with his peck attack hoping to put her down so Kagirinai could catch her. The tangela was slammed into by the nidoran. Even as she passed out from pain, she continued to cry. Earned 15 points! Gained 2 levels! Learned double kick! Capture the tangela?

Kagirinai withdrew a pokeball from his belt enlarging it before throwing it towards the grass type after it had fainted. The sphere struck the grass type releasing a red beam of light. Whether it would be caught is a different matter, though he doubted it would fail considering the pokemon was unconscious with no way of fighting back. Nidoran smirked and walked over to Kagirinai where he received a pat on the head for his good work before being lifted and placed on his head.
