Mr. Winston and his baltoy were already comfortably in the anatomy classroom. There were so many variables in pokemon anatomy, but he had outlines of all the main body styles on the board behind him. After breaking that down, the rest of the class would be easy.
The elderly gentleman shuffled his papers, humming lightly to himself. His class this time would be small. Hopefully, the trio was clever and bright. Kiki Jones and Gary Oak were previous students, but Iason Xanthopoulos was new. Hm… maybe he was an advanced learner? Who knew--well, Sash probably did, if she approved the schedule. It wasn’t his problem, as long as all the students were passing and actually learning. He chuckled and his baltoy squinted its eyes merrily.
Hopefully everyone brought their pokemon in. It would be nice to teach them with examples they could study outside of the classroom.

Kiki decided to take Chomper the Totodile to her Pokemon Anatomy class. He happily trotted beside her as they walked down the hall. This was her first level two class, and she wondered what kind of advanced learning would take place. There would probably be fewer students and familiar students, which was good for her. She bet she would feel comfortable in this class. Maybe they could get some good discussions in. She arrived at the classroom over five minutes early, and she found that she was the first student there. "Good morning," she said to Mr. Winston. Most students found him boring, but she thought she was very knowledgeable.
As his trainer found a spot in the front, Chomper walked up to the Baltoy and waved at him. <Hi! It's good to see you again.> He liked that the teachers brought their Pokemon in as well. He loved to get to know others better.

Gary carried his Joltik into class. He thought that bringing her would help her calm down a bit and get used to him. It would also be a chance to meet other trainers and Pokemon, showing her that most of them meant her no warm. June appeared nervous as her eyes darted around the room, but she did not squirm or attempt to escape. "Mornin'," Gary said to the teacher as he passed his desk. He found a spot in the middle of the room and carefully set his Joltik on the desk. Then he sat down, leaning back to wait for class to start.

He had heard it was a small class which meant less people but less interactions. He sat in the front, messing with a pen in his hands. The rotom was obediently levitating next to him, fletchling in his hair and the vulpix curled in his lap. He had been looking around for his slugma which he had lost tho- and that slugma was currently eating away at Mister Wilson's desk. Yeah, that'd be a detention later when the teacher and Iason Xanthopoulus found out where it had gone. The little brat was always trying to cause trouble since it was introduced into civilization.

The baltoy and Mr. Winston greeted Chomper and Kiki respectively. ”Good morning, and good to see you doing well this semester.” <And, you! Have you gotten any stronger? You see a bit stronger.> Of course, the old man’s mustache wiggled while the baltoy’s body spun (its head staying in place, naturally). Mr. Winston was rather glad Kiki sat in the front. She was pleasant.
”Good morning,” the old gentleman greeted to the brunette when he entered. The baltoy merely squinted its eyes in a manner similar to a grinning man’s eyes might squint, telling by the joltik’s tiny body language that it was nervous. The baltoy didn’t want to trigger and sort of reaction.
When the final student entered, Mr. Winston frowned. Students were really only supposed to have one pokemon out, though as a new student, he could understand having to explain it to Iason. He assumed this was Iason, anyway; it was the only student he didn’t automatically remember. ”Young man, I’m not getting on to you, so please don’t take this the wrong way, but you’re only allowed one--”
Did his desk just get really hot? It suddenly felt a lot hotter. Looking down, he spotted the source of the heat. Jumping back from the now flaming desk, Mr. Winston panicked a bit. ”Alright, children, please leave the room.” Ah. The sprinklers just went off. The baltoy used mudslap on the flaming desk to get the fire put out. ”... Mr. Xanthopoulos, I assume? Please, you wait right outside the classroom.”
This was an interesting start to the semester.
… darn, those handouts burnt up to. Mr. Winston stood behind his now smouldering desk, wet and miserable.

<Thanks,> Chomper said, grinning at the Baltoy. <I have.>
Kiki nodded at Mr. Winston when he greeted her in return. She wondered what interesting knowledge was in store for her today. She glanced at Gary when he entered. She knew him from previous classes, but she had not talked to him much. The third student who entered she did not recognize at all. She looked back at the front when the teacher spoke. Her eyes widened upon seeing that his desk was on fire. This was not good. She was about to offer the assistance of her water type Pokemon when the sprinklers went off. "Come on," she said to Chomper. The two of them hurried out of the classroom like MR. Winston had ordered.

Gary looked at the front of the room in surprise when Mr. Winston told them to leave the room. Who had let their Slugma burn his desk like that? Amateur. Gary wondered if this meant class was cancelled, which would be fine with him. June shook on the desk in fear of the fire. "Come on," Gary said, scooping her up in his arms. He hurried out of the room behind Kiki. He would wait outside in case Mr. Winston got the situation under control and decided to resume class. They were paying money for him to teach, after all.
