Goomy grinned as he felt his health restore slightly thanks to the absorb only to frown as the Squirtle used tail whip to lower his defence again. He kept his focus as the Squirtle was commanded to use its bubble attack. He shut his eyes as the bubbles hit him and with his defence lowered they did more damage than they normally would have. He coughed and spluttered as some of the bubbles got caught in his mouth. He frowned and retaliated by giving them a taste of their own medicine. He opened his mouth and fired a barrage of bubbles towards them.

Gary watched as the Goomy used Bubble in return. It was cool that he knew that move as well, but it would not do much against a water type. "Skipper, use Tail Whip and Muddy Water!" This was his strongest combination, and he wanted to use it more often than others. Perhaps he could try Withdraw when the Goomy decided to use a more powerful attack.
<Ooo...> Skipper said as bubbles came towards him. He tried to pop him with his claws, but they hit his face and made his eyes water. Shaking his head, he prepared to fight again. He spun around to wag his tail at the Goomy. Then he turned and ran towards him, swiping muddy water up from the ground when he got close.

Goomy watched as the water type popped the bubbles with his claws only to laugh as the bubbles hit him in the eyes. He blinked as the Squirtle used his tail whip before running towards him and swiping muddy water upwards from the ground. Goomy cried out as the muddy water hit him sending him sailing backwards into a fallen tree. He shook himself off before he spat mud out of his mouth, <Bleh!> he coughed and spluttered a few times the blow had done some serious damage. He glared as he moved forth to hit the water type with a tackle.

Gary was glad that his Squirtle's attack seemed to have a good effect on the dragon type. He thought the Goomy fought well, but Skipper would be able to beat him. It was unfortunate that he got hit by that Tackle attack. To try to even out the loss of speed, he decided to go for another Bubble. "You're doing well, Skipper. Now use Bubble!"
Skipper grinned when his attack hit. That one was really fun. He started to run away when the Goomy came after him, but he was not quick enough. He was pushed onto his back and spun around. He felt dizzy as he stood up, but he shook it off. Then he aimed at his opponent and shot out a string of bubbles.

Goomy tried to turn his head as the bubbles slammed into him. He wined as they struck. He shook them off regaining himself as he turned to face the Squirtle and his training. Goomy opened his mouth retaliating by firing off his own bubble. His eyes were moving back and forth clearly he was a little disoriented by the battle, <Everything so spinny>

Gary could see the effect the battle was having on the Goomy. Perhaps everything would be winding down soon. Now would be a good time to use a physical attack. "Good work, Skipper. Now use Tackle!" He wanted to end this soon so he could get home and show everyone his pictures of the tornado. He was going to be so popular!
Skipper saw bubbles coming right back at him. He wanted to dodge, but he was too slow to make it out of the way. At least this attack did not do too much damage. He took a deep breath to ready himself for his next move. Then he raced forward to knock into the dragon Pokemon.

Goomy slid back across the ground before he bounced slamming into a rock hard. The dragon type stumbled before he collapsed to the ground swirls in his eyes knock unconscious by the final blow

A grin spread across Skipper's face when he saw that he had won. <Yes!> he exclaimed excitedly. He always enjoyed gaining more experience and learning new moves. Also, he liked the Goomy, and he was sure he would fit in with their team well. Life was good.
Gary was also happy about the results of the battle. The Goomy sure was an interesting Pokemon. It was going to be fun to train him. "Good work, buddy," he said to his Squirtle. Then he took out an empty Pokeball and tossed it at the dragon type. The whole day had been a great experience. |

Gary nodded in satisfaction when the Goomy was caught. He walked over to the Pokeball, picked it up, and stared at it in his hand. "I'll call you 'Tornado.'" Seeing as how they met, it seemed fitting. After placing the ball on his belt, he smiled down at Skipper. "Shall we go show everyone what we've done?" The Squirtle grinned and nodded. Whistling, the two of them walked off into the sunset. OOC: finished |
