Name: Gary Oak Gender: Male Age: 17 Appearance:  Home Region: Kanto Team Wanted: Kanto Personality: Gary is polite, intelligent, and respectful to other people and Pokemon. He has a calm temperament and doesn't let his emotions control him. He is able to remain cool during emergencies and battles. He is hard-working and very determined. He is incredibly sure of himself. He is extremely motivated and will do whatever it takes to get what he wants. He can be stubborn at times. History: Gary's parents died when he was really little, so since then he's been living with his grandfather, Professor Oak, who is a famous Pokemon researcher in Pallet Town. This being said, he is very knowledgeable about Pokemon. This caused him to become overconfident, cocky, and arrogant when he was younger. Through the years of helping his grandfather his personality has mellowed. He has come to love and respect Pokemon as friends, and not just tools for battle. Because Gary has grown into a nice and humble person, Professor Oak thought it would benefit him to attend Cherrilli Academy. Gary is excited to finally become a Pokemon trainer. He enjoys meeting other people and Pokemon. He can be blunt, but he means well. He is confident and always tries his hardest. He has great loyalty to those he cares about and will defend them when needed. When it comes down to it, he would do anything for his friends.
