OOC: This thread is for Lust and Kagirinai's battle, and it occurs first in roleplay time. Lust should post first. He also has the first move. IC: The first semester battle tournament had finally arrived. Principal Sash was excited to see all the hard work the students had put in to earn points finally pay off. She wondered which team would reign victorious. One team had two students competing and one was not represented. This was going to be interesting indeed.
The battles were outside in the Battle Area. Stands had been set up all around the area so that students could watch and cheer on their teammates. One battlefield was set up in the middle. Sash walked to the middle with her Vulpix Maya by her side. "Good day, everyone," she said into a microphone. "The tournament has officially begun. First up, we have Lust and Kagirinai!" While the crowd began to cheer, she stepped to the side so that the two students could take their places. |

OOC: I am not opening this up to either Lust or Kagirinai to post first. If one of them posts and the other does not post for two days, victory will be given to the one who posted.

Kagirinai yawned as he stepped into the battle arena having stayed up most of the night to do a little study on pokemon types and advantages in order to prepare himself for this upcoming tournament. Of course his main choice in pokemon would be Dokuton seeing as the Nidorino was his strongest. He tossed the pokeball containing his starter up into the air lazily before catching it as made his way through the crowds into the arena before finding his way towards his battle location and taking his spot. He stood there with a bored gaze, his hair a mess having not long woken up, his clothes dishevelled having fallen asleep in his chair. He had freshened up quickly but was still waking up but it didn't mean he wasn't in a position to fight. He flicked his wrist sending the pokeball sailing through the air as it expanded. The pokeball struck the ground opening up as a beam shot out taking the shape of his Nidorino Dokuton who gave a powerful howl as he snorted before stomping the ground. Kagirinai yawned once more, "Lets do this Dokuton" he spoke as he brushed a strand of hair behind his right ear. Level: 20 Attacks: Leer, Peck, Focus Energy, Double Kick, Poison Sting, Fury Attack, Beat Up Abilities:Poison Point, Rivalry, Hustle Move Strength: Enhancements: Hit By: Used: Health: High Green

Principal Sash smiled when Kagirinai walked out. It looked like he had a tough Pokemon. This was going to be fun. She was surprised his opponent had not come out yet, but perhaps he was just a little late; they could wait. He was probably just anxious about being in the tournament.
After 15 minutes, however, she knew she could not make everyone wait any longer. She checked her phone just to make sure she had not missed a text. Frowning slightly, she stepped forward with the microphone. "I'm sorry, everyone," she said. "It looks like one of the students is not going to show up. That means he has forfeited and Kagirinai."
She glanced at the boy and gave him a small smile. "Congratulations. You will be going on to the second round." She hoped everyone was not too disappointed that there would not be a battle. She looked around. "We will have an hour break before the next battle begins. I'm sorry for any inconvenience." She stepped back to rejoin her Vulpix. It was too bad how everything had worked out, but the tournament had to go on. |
