Kiki was confused by her trainer's words. What the heck was he talking about? She decided to just ignore him lest he distract her from the battle. She could see clearly what the Nidorino was going to do. Thinking quickly, she stole a retaliation move form her opponent: "Use you Razor Leaf against the needles! Then use Poison Powder!" If Alice could poison him in addition to deflecting his attack, it would be a bonus.
Alice kept her eyes on her opponent. He was using Focus Energy again. Great. She was going to have to do him in before that got to her. She reacted quickly to Kiki's words. She aimed her leaves carefully the poisonous needles. Thankfully, she was able to deflect them all like the Nidorino had earlier. A second later, she shot out her poisonous gas. She knew he was a poison type himself, but it might do something.

Kagirinai pushed his glasses up as the Bayleef was commanded to use razor leaf to counter his poison sting before commanding her to utilise poison powder. He held back a smirk at this, it seemed she had not done her homework, poison powder did not effect steel, grass or poison type pokemon nor those with the immunity ability or holding the item overcoat. Dokuton stood their as the poison fell around him not evening effecting him at all. He lowered his horn as a white aurora erupted around him as he utilised his focus energy again enhancing his critical hit ratio. His horn then began to glow as he charged forth stampeding across the ground in order to slam into the grass type pokemon with his peck attack. The battle was going by very slowly. Kiki wondered what it would take for one of the Pokemon to get the upper hand. "Quick, use Reflect and Razor Leaf!" she shouted. She hoped the Bayleef would have time to use both attacks before the Nidorino struck. If not, she would still have a good shot at him. She did not want to risk either of her other two damaging moves at the moment.
Alice saw the Nidorino coming. He had not changed his strategy much the whole battle, so she could anticipate what he was going to do. She immediately put up her shield to lessen the damage she would take. Then, instead of attempting to dodge, she shot out sharp leaves at her opponent. If the Nidorino hit her before she had a chance to attack, she would use Razor Leaf after his attack completed.

Dokuton shook the blow off as the razor sharp leaves collided with his body. He leapt back after his attack had collided creating a bit of distance between himself and the opposing grass type pokemon. He glanced back at his trainer who was in a thinking pose. The poison type turned his attention back to the grass pokemon and allowed an aurora of white energy to engulf his body as he activated his focus energy again. The higher chance he had for a critical blow the quicker the possibility of ending this match. He stomped the ground as he tensed his muscles awaiting the next command to come from his trainer. Kagirinai ran his fingers through his hair having assessed the situation and come up with the move to utilise, "Dokuton lets test out our Beat up!" he spoke with a grin. As he grinned he pulled out of his pocket four pokeballs that glowed as he held them between his fingers. Dokuton grinned as he began to charge forth in order to use his beat up move, an attack designed to utilise a combined attack with himself and the other members of his trainers team. The four pokeballs glowed before opening as four pokemon shot out taking the shape of Elekid, Tauros, Petilil and Wynaut. The five pokemon charged in together with Tauros leading the charge followed by Dokuton, Elekid, Petilil and the Wynaut all five aiming to ram into the opposing Grass type Pokemon. Kiki tensed when the next attack was called out. Was there any way to avoid it? They could try, and Reflect would help some. Maybe this was a good time to try something else out on their opponent. "Hang in there, Alice. Use Vine Whip on the Nidorino's legs and try to hold on." She did not want anything to happen like the last time they used that attack.
Alice was glad that she seemed to be doing at least some damage. She just had to hang in there herself. She had never heard of this Beat Up attack, and her eyes widened when four other Pokemon appeared. She jumped to the side to try to dodge some of them, but she still received some damage. As the Nidorino was hitting her, she let herself fall back so she could strike out her vines and hit his legs to either cause him to lose his balance or to hold on if she was able.

Kagirinai pushed his glasses up as the opposing pokemon was commanded to use her vine whip in order to restrain the opposing poison type pokemon. In the time the vine whip command was given Kagirinai had already devised a number of battle strategies but one stuck out more than the others, "Dokuton grab it!" he commanded as he tucked his hands into the pockets of his lab coat, "Then reel her in and use beat up!"Dokuton nodded at the command as the vines came flying towards him. He opened his jaw catching the first vine between his powerful jaw while letting the second wrap around his right hind leg. He pushed his clawed toes into the ground in order to keep himself grounded. He smirked as an aurora of white erupted around him again as he activated his focus energy. He then violently pulled on the vine in order to attempt to pull her in towards him so he could slam his body into hers followed by the rest of his comrades as the other four pokemon Elekid, Tauros, Wynaut and Petilil readied themselves to strike. Kiki suspected the Nidorino might try to grab Alice's vine again, and this time she had a plan. "Quick, jump up and use Razor Leaf!" Hopefully, if the Bayleef planned it right, she would be able to use the momentum of the pull to jump high in the air. They had to try something, and this was the only thing that came to mind. She wondered when the other four Pokemon would leave; they were a nuisance.
Alice was frustrated when her opponent grabbed one of her vines, but her trainer's words gave her confidence. She could do this. She took a deep breath to prepare herself. Then, when she first felt the tug from her vine, she raced forward and jumped in the air so she would go over the poison type instead of smashing into him. While she flew up, she sent down her leaves to injure him and make her let go of her vine. When she landed/crashed on the other side, she would worry about the other Pokemon who wanted to attack her.

Dokuton howled loudly as he released the vine and glared at the opposing pokemon as it avoided his attack again, this was getting on his nerves. He removed the vine from his hind leg and charge forth as a storm of razor leaves were released towards him. He charged forth his hooves stomping across the ground as his comrades returned to their pokeballs. His horn glowed brightly for a peck attack. He ploughed on through the razor sharp leaves as a white aurora surrounded him as he focused his energy again maxing out his critical hit ratio. His body was pounded by the attack of the grass type pokemon but he charged on moving through the leaves with no fear as he lunged forth to slam into the Bayleef with all his might as he used his peck. Level: 20 Attacks: Leer, Peck, Focus Energy, Double Kick, Poison Sting, Fury Attack, Beat Up Abilities: Poison Point, Rivalry, Hustle

Kiki was mildly satisfied when the other Pokemon returned to their Pokeballs. It looked like it was back to Peck. Instead of running away, she decided to try something else. Since there was a chance they were going to slam into each other anyway, Alice might as well try to do some damage herself. "Use Tackle!"
A determined look remained on Alice's face. The plan had worked somewhat. At least she had been able to get away from potential damage. The Nidorino was coming at her quickly. She responded by running right back at him. The two of them would surely hit and do damage to each other. Which one would come up on top?

Kagirinai pushed his glasses up before a crazed look began to form as his lips twisted upwards in a sickening smirk, "Such an intriguing specimen. I desire so intently to dissect her. To see what makes her tick kufufufufufu" spoke the scientist out loud causing his pokemon to shake its head as the Bayleef used its tackle attack. Kagirinai cackled clicking his tongue as his hair hung over his eyes. He gazed on through his locks as his poison pokemon stood its ground lowering its horns in the hopes of activating his poison point ability to try and poison her as the tackle connected sending him skidding backwards. He howled the battle was starting to take its toll on him but he would not give up. Kagirinai licked his lips as he chuckled, " Shishishishi Dokuton..." he sang the name of his pokemon as he swayed on his feet, "Shall we continue this little experiment for the world is ours!" called the 'slightly' insane trainer. He titled his head to the right revealing his left eye which had widened showing a mad gaze. Dokuton snorted and charged in leer first to try and lower the grass types defence, "Dokuton let the experiment restart with a fury attack. Let us see what this 'specimen' can do" he cackled again. Dokuton charged forth his hooves thundering across the ground as he lunged forth to slam into the Bayleef repeatedly to strike her a number of times with his horn to cause as much damage as possible. kagirinai wrapped his arms around his shoulders and swayed, " Ooooooh what a lovely day for science!"Level: 20 Attacks: Leer, Peck, Focus Energy, Double Kick, Poison Sting, Fury Attack, Beat Up Abilities: Poison Point, Rivalry, Hustle

Kiki raised her eyebrows at the other trainer's sudden exclamation. What in the world was he talking about? Specimen? That did not seem like a very nice way to talk about a Pokemon. And what was with that mad gleam in his eyes? Ok... It was time to finish this battle before he himself. At the beginning, he had ignored the battle, and now he seemed to have gone mad. Was this some trick to distract her? Well, it would not work. "Growl and Razor Leaf!" She would see if he liked that.
Alice was also caught off guard by Kagirinai's statements. What had he called her? She shook her head. It did not matter; she had to focus on the battle. She tensed at the Nidorino's Leer, but she quickly regained her confidence. It seemed that he was trying something else out now. She growled at him as he struck her repeatedly. Finally, she was able to jump back a bit and send her leaves, which did not have to go far, flying in his direction.

Kagirinai lifted his kimono sleeve to his lips and chuckled beneath them, " Kufufufufufu" his crazed eyes followed the battle catching every little detail. He took great pleasure in carefully taking in all that was presented before him. The grass type was using Razor leaf again to hurt his beloved poison pokemon. He licked his lips as the leaves sailed through the air bombarding his pokemon, "Dokuton let us start to bring this experiment to a close shickshickshickshickshick"Dokuton stood his ground as the leaves bounced off his body striking him with deadly accuracy. He growled as he leered through the mass of razor leaves to lower the grass pokemon's defence again. He then charged on forth in order to strike the Bayleef multiple times with his fury attack. Kiki gave Kagirinai an odd look. Ok, he was definitely crazy. There was no way she was going to let him win. Alice's health was way down, so her Overgrow ability had to be activated, which would increase the strength of her grass attacks. Since that was the case, it was best to stick with what they were doing. "Try to dodge and then use Growl and Razor Leaf again!"
Alice readied herself to move. She growled as the Nidorino came at her. She attempted to leap out of the way, but his Fury Attack managed to get her once before she was able to escape. She immediately turned and used Razor Leaf again. <Take that!> She hoped her Overgrow ability would do her some good. The winner of the battle would be decided very soon.

Dokuton grit his teeth as the razor leaf attack slammed into his body once more. He slid backwards as black bruises began to form on his body from the point of impact. He lowered his head and sneered. His owner's expression changed entirely as the male reached into his lab coat and retrieved a pokeball, "Dokuton. I believe that is enough. The data I have required from this specimen is satisfactory" Dokuton nodded his head as he let his body collapse onto the ground allowing exhaustion to finally take over. A beam of red light shot out of the pokeball hitting Dokuton head on as he returned to the confines of the sphere to rest. Kagirinai ran his fingers through his hair as his crazed expression vanished allowing a calm serene look to form, "Congratulations this battle is yours. GOod luck against your next foe. Next time we fight though the victory shall be mine" the scientist pulled a little notebook out of his coat with a pen and began to jot some things down as he turned and left. Alice stood there panting as she finished her attack. She did not know if she could go on for much longer. She was almost surprised when the Nidorino had not attacked her back. She had won? She looked back at her trainer in elation. She had won! She felt strong and proud of her accomplishment.
Kiki watched the other trainer curiously as he seemed to calm down. Well, at least he took defeat well. She nodded at him. "Thank you. We'll see." She smirked. It had been a long and tough battle, but she had been able to pull through in the end. She grinned at her Bayleef. "Great job, Alice! You can take a rest now." She returned her to her Pokeball and prepared to leave the arena. |
