Phanpy sneered as he slid past the Blitzle who had avoided his attack by dodging again, that dodging was starting to annoy him, <Stand still!> Okay that was probably a stupid remark considering one was never suppose to stand still in a battle. Phanpy blinked as he was struck again and sent flying back from another quick attack this one doing more damage than the last. He cried out as he slid back. He dug his trunk into the ground bringing his body to a halt. He shook his body shaking dirt from his coat before he turned and growled loudly at the Blitzle before charging forth with another Flail. Kiki chuckled lightly when the Phanpy appeared a bit frustrated. Poor little guy. It also seemed like he was getting tried. Maybe this next attack would be it. Then they could all return to the picnic! Her Blitzle was hit but did not seem badly wounded. "Let's try one more Tail Whip and Tackle!" The elephant had not used Defense Curl last time, so maybe this combination would work.
Crunch blinked at the Phanpy's complaint. <No, I like running!> And he was going to do it as often as he could. The short conversation distract him, and he was not prepared to dodge the attack. He stood up more slowly this time, but he could still keep going. He turned around and flipped his tail before turning back to try Quick Attack.

Phanpy trumpeted loudly as his flail connected. He grinned as he stomped the ground he wasn't going down without a fight! He was to distracted by his own trumpeting that he didn't notice the Blitzle rush him with a quick attack until it was to late. He cried out as he was sent flying backwards landing on the ground in a heap. He struggled to stand only to collapse to the ground with exhaustion as swirls formed in his eyes. Level: 8 Attacks: Odor Sleuth, Tackle, Growl, Defense Curl, Flail Abilities: Pick up, Sand Veil Hit By: Quick attack Used: Health: --- You defeated a wild Phanpy! Capture or move on?

Crunch stood there panting after he made contact with the Phanpy. Looking up, he saw that he had done it. He had won! He began to run around in victory, but his weariness soon caught up to him. He trotted over to the picnic blanket and collapsed. Maybe now he could have a good meal. He smiled when his friends congratulated him on his achievement.
Kiki grinned when the energetic Phanpy finally fainted. It was going to be fun to have him on her team. She took out a Pokeball and tossed it at him. Then she turned to her Blitzle and said, "Great job, Crunch. You battled well." He seemed to get distracted easily, but that was nothing that some proper training could not fix. |

Kiki walked over to the Pokeball, bent down and picked it up. The ball immediately shrunk in her hand. "I'll get you out soon," she promised. She was going to have to send one of her Pokemon back in order for her to interact with her new Phanpy. She was excited to get to know the little elephant. She was sure they would be great friends. Putting the Pokeball away, she turned to the picnic. "Is everyone ready to eat?" Her Pokemon responded with enthusiastic agreement. She sat down on the blanket that she had laid out earlier. "First, I have some treats for some of you." She took out several rare candies and divided them amongst her friends. She gave two to Ella the Eevee, three to Crunch the Blitzle, two to Penelope the Seel, and three to Haley the Delibird. |

The Pokemon were happy with their candies. When they finsihed, Kiki said, "Good. Now lets eat!" She dished out the remaining of the food to everyone. Her friends happily dug in. There was nothing better after a great battle than a good meal. She could continue training later. Right now, she had to eat! OOC: finished |
