Susano'o sneered as he climbed up the way to Lava cave his first destination. With his wooper a water type pokemon and Lava cave being home to fire, rock and ground types it would be the perfect location to begin training the creature. Of course he doubted he would be using Wooper for long once he caught a superior pokemon he would swap them making Wooper a tertiary pokemon to be used on a whim. Some might call it cruel but Susano'o did not care all pokemon and humans were merely tools to be used in order to achieve his goal. His goal was to become the King of the Pokemon World before becoming it's god. Many would laugh at the idea or call him insane but Susano'o wanted to rule everything with an iron fist. He chuckled a small sadistic tone hidden beneath it.
Susano'o pulled himself up over the ledge as he stared into the entrance of lava cave, it had taken him many hours to reach his destination but he was finally here. The sunlight shined over revealing the strange bundle on his back. The bundle was a modified backpack that had four deep pouches made form cotton to provide warmth. Sitting in each of the pouches was a pokemon egg. He had purchased them just a few hours ago and left for his dorm to grab the item he ahd specially requested offline in order to store the four eggs. The young male grabbed a pokeball from his belt calling out his Wooper who appeared before him and jumped into the air. Susano'o kept his fake smile out as he began making his way into the cave. His eyes flicked back and forth keeping an eye out for anything that might intrigue him.

While the trainer and his Wooper had started their journey into the cave, a young Numel was making his way out of it. He was tired of being cooped up in a dark, hot cave all day and wanted to explore the world. He may have looked slow and unenthusiastic, but he had the heart of an explorer. He moved casually through the tunnels, humming to himself. Just when he thought he was free, he came across the trainer and his Pokemon. He paused, unsure of what to do. Then he laid his eyes on the Wooper. <Have you come to explore?> most wanted to explore the caves, but he had done that already. He had bigger places to see!

Susano'o held back a vicious grin as he eyed the numel that appeared before him. Susano'o kept his gentle smile up, "Wooper let us test your skills" commanded the young male as he pointed at the Numel. Wooper nodded and leapt forth landing in front of his trainer. Susano'o fiddled with a pokeball on his belt before he began tossing it up into the air catching it each time, "Wooper start off with your tail whip then follow up with dig!" commanded Susano'o aiming to lower the defence of the fire time and then use dig to avoid his pokemon taking damage. Wooper flipped around and began wagging his tail in order to lower the fire pokemon's defence. He then used his feet to dig into the ground where he vanished under the ground. The Numel frowned when the other two did not respond, and he was startled when they seemed to want to battle. Hey, that wasn't fair! Didn't they have the decency to ask him first? He was not much of a battler. He preferred exploring and making friends. If he had to defend himself, though, he would. He opened his mouth to use his Ember attack, but when the fire cleared, he found that the Wooper was nowhere to be seen. He looked around in confusion. Had he fled?

Susano'o licked his lips as he eyed the battlefield after the Numel had used its ember failing to hit his pokemon thanks to the use of dig. He tucked a strand of hair behind his eyes a small smirk forming at his lips, "Wooper use dig now!" called Susano'o. The ground began to crack beneath the Numel as Wooper had dug a hole under the ground all the way under the Numel and was aiming to come out beneath the fire type to slam into it with debris and dirt. The Numel frowned again as his attack missed. He was not a very bright Pokemon, and he was confused by these tricks. His eyes widened in surprise when he felt something push up from below him. He fell back, having the wind knocked out of him, leaving him feeling dizzy. She shook his head to get rid of the dirt, and then he glared at the Wooper. After growling, he attempted another Ember, not realizing it would not be very effective.

A certain Chatot had been sent to explore the Lava Cave to see if he could find any trainers. His own trainer had suspected that any student willing to face danger in the caves was bound to be strong, so he had sent his Chatot to look for possible recruits. The female flying type did not have to go far before she found a battle taking place. She settled on the ground near them to watch.

Wooper stood stiff as a wave of embers flew towards him after his foe used his growl. The ember collided with him being a water type he felt no effect from the attack only taking small damage. He leapt up and down for joy with a giant grin, " Wooper Tail Whip and follow with Scald!" commanded Susano'o as he brushed a strand of hair behind his ear. From the side of the battle Susano'o caught the sight of a pokemon landing on the ground seeming to examine the battle, a Chatot interesting. He wondered what this pokemon wanted. Wooper nodded and turned around beginning to wave his tail back and forth in order to lower the defence of his opponent for his attack to do more damage. He spun around and opened his mouth steam beginning to rise from it before a large stream of scalding hot water shot forth steam erupting from the stream, while fire types probably didn't mind hot water this stream was of a high pressure so it would still be super effective on the fire type. The Numel could now see that his attack had not had much of an effect on his opponent. Perhaps he should try his other one. He had little time to think, for hot water came blasting at him. He tried to get out of the way out it, but most of it still got him. The heat did not bother him, but the water pressure sent him flying back. He could feel the water draining his power, and he did not like it. Growling again, he charged at the Wooper for a Tackle attack.

Susano'o waited patiently as the Numel used its growl again before launching forth with his tackle when it discovered its ember wouldn't work. Susano'o kept calm waiting patiently to act as his wooper was slammed into with a tackle attack sending the water type flying back through the air. The water type flipped in mid air and landed on both feet giving a loud laugh, "Wooper Tail whip and Scald!" commanded the johto member. Wooper nodded spinning around giving his tail a wag to lower his foes defence. Wooper spun around again as his cheeks began to expand. He parted his lips releasing a powerful high pressured stream of scalding hot water sending it sailing towards the Numel. Being that Numel was a fire and ground type scald and water gun would be the most effective again him with a times four weakness. Susano'o had to resist the urge to lick his lips in a sadistic manner. Even though he was wasn't fighting himself the feeling of battle was invigorating. He raised his right hand to cover his the right side of his facial features in order to hide the evil gleam in his right eye. The Numel was prepared this time. After being hit by Scald once, he did not want it to happen again. After he hit his target, he immediately started to run around. He managed to just miss the next attack aimed at him. feeling confident, he growled at his opponent. Hey, maybe this could be a great adventure after all! He ran towards the Wooper in hopes of getting in another Tackle.

Wooper stood his ground as he slid back a few feet from his opponent the moment he made contact. The combination of growl and tail whip had kept this battle rather equal in terms of offensive and defensive skill as the two moves countered each other, "Wooper lets trip him up with ice beam!" called his trainer. Wooper nodded his head and opened his lips releasing a bright cyan beam of energy that soared forth. The stream of light hit the ground as Wooper began to guide it freezing the terrain over in order to slip the Numel up and make him fall over so his attack would be able to make contact. With the ice set Susano'o reached into his pocket removing a heavy ball. While a heavy ball was used for pokemon with a high weight a numal was only twenty-four kilos at that. He could use a fast ball but it worked best on fast pokemon, a nest ball was for water and bug types and a dusk ball worked best at night or in caves and at the moment they were outside the lava cave. He could use a masterball but he didn't want to waste it. He took aim and prepared to throw the Heavy Ball at the first chance. The Ice Beam caught the Numel off guard. The frozen ground cause him to slip and stumble. He could not dodge the attack, but it was not as effective as the previous attack, and he was not frozen. He knew he could still win this. He was about to attack back when a ball struck him, opening and sucking him inside. He still had enough strength to fight being captured. This was not fair! Did the trainer think him so weak that he could be subdued so easily? Well, he was wrong! After some struggling, he managed to open the ball and face his opponents again. He stood there blinking, slightly disoriented.

The Chatot watched as the Ice Beam hit the Numel. She had seen enough. She took off to report back to her trainer and repeat to him what she had heard.

Susano'o grinned as the Numel broke free of the heavy ball, "Well it seems our little friend here is a lot stronger than we first thought Wooper" spoke Susano'o as he crossed his arms over his chest. He licked his lips in a sadistic manner, " Wooper let us continue. Tail Whip and Water Gun" commanded the manipulative male. Wooper nodded his head spinning around and wagged his tail at the disoriented Numel best to do what he could while the Numel was regaining his bearings. He spun around puffing his cheeks out before he released a powerful stream of cold water through the air at the Numel. Level: 5 Abilities:Damp, Water Absorb, Unaware Attack:Water Gun, Tail Whip, Mud Sport, Encore TM Moves:Ice Beam, Dig, Scald Hit By:Growl, Tackle Used: Tail Whip, Water Gun Health: Low Green/High Yellow |

The Numel's victory seemed to breath new life into him. He was much more alert now, and he swiftly dodged the Water Gun. If he was going to go down, he wanted to have fought his hardest. He growled at the Wooper and then, without slowing down from his dodge, he ran around and aimed towards the water type for a Tackle.

Susano’o held back a scowl as the Numel dodged again, it seemed his water attacks weren’t going to work if the Numel kept dodging. He would have to trip him up. His wooper acted on instinct turning around to wag his tail as the fire type growled towards him to lower his attack. The water type spun back around as the fire type charged forth with another tackle, “ Wooper trip him up!" commanded Susano’o. Wooper parted his lips releasing a stream of cyan light. The beam of ice hit the ground freezing it over rapidly as the beam travelled on towards the Numel. Hopefully it would slip the Numel up and prevent him from tackling Wooper and give the water type a chance to finally hit him with a water move. Susano'o grinned, once the ice was in place it would hopefully give Wooper an advantage.
