Gary grinned as he looked proudly at his Farfetch'd. He knew his tough flying type would be able to handle that Venonat. "That was great, Scout. Keep it up." Now he only had one Pokemon to beat while he still had two Pokemon left. However, he knew better than to assume this battle was over. He had to keep his mind sharp. "Dodge that and use Peck!" He was curious to test the Heracross' defenses.
Scout flew into the air and did a flip. Yes, that Venonat was history! He never had any doubts. He landed on the ground and narrowed his eyes at the Heracross. This one looked like he thought he was tough. Well, he would see about that! He attempted to fly up, but the Heracross' horn hit him before he could do so. Annoyed, he flew at him, aiming to peck at him with his beak.

Timtom the Heracross stood his ground watching the flying type pokemon as he flew in towards him for a peck attack. The Heracross dug his feet into the ground almost like a sumo wrestler. He then reached out with his arms bringing them into the bird's shoulders in order to try and stop the peck attack. He grunted as he slid back the beak touching his skin, he used his arms to channel the strength behind the blow through his body and into the ground in order to lessen the effect. He spread his wings and flew back releasing the bird and landed away from him appearing in front of his trainer. Jenna smiled at her Heracross, Timtom was quite intelligent that and he had watched lots of different movies and documentaries about pokemon battling and human martial arts, "Good Job Timtom, now lets kick off with an Aerial Ace" commanded Jenna, while it was a flying type move and wouldn't be effective but do base damage against the flying pokemon, the attack moved to fast to be dodged allowing her to land a blow. Timtom pounded his chest, "Heracross <Let's do it>!" cried the pokemon as his wings sprouted from his back and began buzzing loudly before he surged forth racing up into the air beginning to do circles in mid air getting faster and faster becoming a literal blur before he dived bombed heading straight for the Farfetch'd. Gary raised his eyebrows at the Heracross' method of reducing the damage done to him. That was pretty clever. He was going to have to work hard to win this round. Scout would faint from the poison soon, so he had to give it his best shot. Then he would rely on his final Pokemon to finish it off. "You use Aerial Ace as well!"
Scout tried to push the Heracross backwards, but it was not use. He clicked his beak in frustration as he moved back. He hated it when flying attacks were used against him, especially when there was nothing he could do to stop them. He grunted as he was struck by the bug and fighting type. Then he took to the air himself and swooped down for his own Aerial Ace. His was better!

Timtom roared loudly as he landed on the ground with a heavy thud. He skidded across the terrain turning to face the flying type pokemon as he charged in with an aerial ace. Timtom dug his feet into the ground and leaned forward digging his clawed hands into the battle field as the Farfetch'd struck him dead on. Timtom slid across the terrain his muscles tensing as he released a mighty battle cry. He dug his claws in hard digging a trench in the battle field as he slid back a good ten metres from his previous position. The fighting bug pokemon rose to his feet a little wobbly, as a fighting bug type flying attacks were incredibly effective against him. Jenna watched as her Heracross dug a trench in the ground in his attempt to stop his movements, "Alright Timtom horn attack!" commanded the bug trainer. Timtom stood tall raising his arms into the air, " CROSS!" he roared. His right foot struck the ground before he kicked the ground with all his might launching himself straight towards the flying type pokemon. He launched across the terrain like a projectile as he lowered his horn his wings spread out as he shot forth. Scout attempted to fly up high, but the Heracross got to him first. He let out a grunt as he crashed to the ground. He did not have the strength to use his wings any longer.
Gary smiled sadly as he watched his Farfetch'd go down. "You were awesome, Scout," he said, taking out his Pokeball. "Take a long rest." He only had one Pokemon left, but it seemed that his flying type had already done a good amount of damage to the Heracross. It was time to finish this up. "Skipper, you're up!" He released his partner to complete the job. "Use Water Gun!"
The Wartortle took in his opponent. This did not look too difficult. He would defeat the bug type and win the battle for his trainer! He took a deep breath and then released a stream of water at his opponent. He still had to learn more water attacks, but this was the best he could do for now. He hoped it would be enough.

Timtom pounded his chest in victory, another one day. He gave a mighty battle cry as he opened up his wings, he would not be defeated. Jenna shook her head at the actions of her Heracross, he was always the boastful type, but as one of her strongest pokemon she suppose he deserved that right, " Alright Challenger, show us your last pokemon" spoke the Battle Leader as she awaited for the final pokemon to show. She was not disappointed when a Wartortle was revealed, the water type looked quite strong. Timtom looked up at the Wartortle smirking at it. He stomped the ground preparing himself for battle only for a stream of water to slam into him. He released a cry, he had not expected the attack to be so powerful. He cried out as he flew across the stadium crashing into a wall where he collapsed to the ground defeated. Jenna blinked, it was already over? She hadn't realised her opponent's attack would be that strong. She chuckled as she returned her pokemon to his pokeball, " Well done Timtom, you did well." she then turned to approach Gary making her way towards him. As she did a Caterpie with a plate full of rare candies wiggled towards them. She removed five of the candies holding them out to Gary along with a piece of paper, "Take these to signify your victory. I look forward to seeing your success"Congratulations Skipper Gained 3 Levels

Gary grinned when he saw the effects of his Wartortle's attack. Even he had not been expecting something so powerful. He was proud of the hard training the two of them had done together. It had certainly paid off. "That was amazing, Skipper. Great work!" The water Pokemon grinned broadly. This had been an excellent battle and an awesome win. The trainer stepped forward to accept the items from Jenna. "Thank you. And thanks for a fun battle. Good luck with your next challenger." Then he and Skipper turned and headed out of there, |
