This time, Kiki was ready when the Lombre came barging towards her Bayleef. "Ok, use reflect!" That would not negate the damage done to her, but it would reduce it. "Now Razor Leaf!" She could feel victory within her grasp. She just had to hang on a bit longer. She knew her partner could do it!
Alice smiled when she saw her attack hit. Good. The battle was giving her renewed energy. When the Lombre moved towards her, she put up a light screen that weakened the attack. She winced as she was struck four times. She took a deep breath and let it out slowly. She could still do this. She whipped out some sharp leaves to damage her opponent. She loved her grass attacks!

Hunter rubbed his chin, this battle was coming to a close, Tadia was his final pokemon and she was running low on strength, "Tadia Nature Power!" His Lombre roared in response as she inhaled a bright green glow radiating from her body. She exhaled firing off a barrage of hard shell like objects as she utilised the move Seed Bomb through the nature power move.  Species: Lombre Name: Tadia Gender: Female Level: 21 Attacks: Growl, Absorb, Nature Power, Fury Swipes Hit By: Razor Leaf Used: Nature's Power (Grass-Seed Bomb) Health: Low Red (Poisoned) |

Kiki was glad that the attack Nature's Power chose was a grass move. It could have been a lot worse. Alice was not looking too bad, but she could tell that the Lotad was on her last leg. Still, she wanted to end this quickly and not leave anything up to chance. "Now Magical Leaf!" She thought this would do it for sure.
Alice could feel that she was growing weaker, but she could still stand tall. She knew she could win this battle. It had been fun so far, and she hoped her efforts would be fruitful. It was great to work with her partner to accomplish a goal! She turned her head away when the seeds hit her. That did not feel good! Then she took a deep breath before letting out a series of leaves that soared towards her opponent.

Hunter watched as Tadia went down, the razor leaf finishing her off. With a sigh he returned his final pokemon, the battle was over. "Congratulation's on your win" spoke the battle leader as he whistled loudly. A small door opened up as a corsola came bounding into the room balancing a plate on it's head with a roll up piece of paper and five rare candies. Hunter took the items and held them out to Kiki, "This will mark your victory" he said as he handed them over.

Kiki grinned when she saw her opponent faint. "We did it, Alice!" The Bayleef turned and ran to her trainer. The girl laughed as she gave her a big hug. "You were great." She the Corsola with a small smile. "Thank you." She took the items and carefully pocketed them. Then she nodded at Hunter. "Thanks for the battle." It had been kind of fun. Kiki and Alice smiled at each other before heading out into the day. |
