Faith was pleased with the speed of the Pachirisu. She would be a great battler once she harnessed her energy. "Dodge that with Quick Attack and then Growl!"
Nutella darted back and forth. Her quick movements enabled her to dodge the Geodude's Tackle. She was glad he did not use a rock move! Without slowing down, she ran in a circle until she was facing her opponent again. Then she leapt in the air to attack. The Geodude was caught off guard by the Quick Attack. It grunted as it shook off the effects of the blow. The Growl caused it to momentarily pause. Then it curled into a ball to raise its defense. Faith was disappointed that the Geodude had just negated the effects of the Growl. At least it was not attacking. Now was her chance to strike. "Quick Attack again!"
Nutella knew she really needed to learn more moves. That was why she was working with her trainer to beat this simulation! She could deal with her issues with her alter. Faith watched as her Pachirisu was struck. This gave her an idea. "Don't worry, Nutella. We're going to use Bide. For now, go with Quick Attack!" He knew she could give away her plan because the Geodude was only a simulation, and simulations could not think.
Nutella darted to the side, but the Geodude got to her first. She winced as she was struck by the large rock Pokemon. Oh, he would pay for that! She did not want to admit it, but her trainer's plan was actually pretty good. She shook her tail to fluff it before running at the Geodude to attack him again. Faith watched the collission of attacks. This would work well. It was now time to bring her plan into motion. "Ok, stay still!" She hoped she would listen to her this time. They could do this together!
Nutella smirked in satisfaction. That was fun. She loathed the idea of standing still, but she knew it was for the best. She shut her eyes as the Geodude tackled her. Next time she would strike! Faith thought her plan was going well so far. She was glad her Pachirisu was listening to her. She hoped this showed her that they made a good time. "Now Bide!" This would be great.
Nutella twitched her tail. She hated waiting like this, especially on her trainer's command. However, it was the best strategy she could think of. She closed her eyes when the Geodude struck her. When they opened again, they were full of determination. Now this thing was going to get it! She released her damage in pure energy. The Geodude was hit by the attack. Instead of fainting, it dissolved into light. Then a voice said: "Congratulations, you have won. Please take your helmets off." In the real room, a rare candy appeared in a small slot in the wall. Faith smiled when the virtual Pokemon fainted. "You did it, Nutella!" The Pachirisu puffed up hr chest. The girl took off both of their helmets. Then she grabbed the rare candy. "That's enough for today." She returned Nutella to her Pokeball. She was glad the electric type had ended up listening to her. Maybe now they could strengthen their bond.
