Nate strolled into the virtual training room. He decided it was time to train some of his baby Pokemon. They were not ready to go against real Pokemon, so he thought these machines would be a great way to get them to level up. "You're up first, Manny!" He tossed a Pokeball in the air, and the Swinub appeared, staring up at him. The trainer smiled as he pulled out two rare candies and offered him to his Pokemon. A little help this way was not bad either. Manny brightened and gobbled up the candy. Nate then placed a helmet on both of their heads. A white screen appeared, and they waited for their opponent. A machop appeared in front of Manny, ready to battle. It began flexing it's arms in wait. It was going to allow the other pokemon to attack first.

Nate stared at the fighting type that appeared. Ok, he could do this. "Time to battle, Manny. Use Tackle!" The Pokemon only knew three attacks, and only one of them was relevant here. This was going to be a boring battle.
Manny shivered as he stared at the Machop. This was not going to be fun. he took a deep breath and let it out slowly. He had to at least try. He moved forward rather slowly, planning to hit the other Pokemon with his body. Level: 6 Attacks: Tackle, Odor Sleuth, Mud Sport Abilities: Oblivious, Snow Cloak, Thick Fat Hit By: Used: Tackle Health: High Green OOC: Manny gained two levels, right? |

The Machop was struck by the Tackle and fell over. It quickly got up and swung its right leg at Manny to kick him.

Nate kept his cool as he saw the Machop aim to attack. "Dodge it!" Unfortunately, his won Pokemon was too slow. "It's alright. Use Tackle!" He did not have many other options.
Manny felt good about hitting that fighting type. His joy did not last long. His eyes widened when he saw a leg coming his way. He was too stunned to dodge, and he needed up being pushed back by the attack. He sighed as he got back up. He had to keep going! He moved forward for a Tackle. The Machop was struck by another Tackle while trying to run away. It turned around and swung at Manny with its leg again.

By now, Nate knew that the Machop only knew one attack as well. He would use this to his advantage. "Manny, jump up and use Tackle!" Now he could finally gain an advantage. He would win this!
Manny breathed deeply. He had to save calm if he wanted to do what was asked of him. he moved forward a little and then jumped in the air. He was surprised when he was able to dodge the Machop's leg. He lowered his head and aimed to attack the virtual Pokemon. Level: 6 Attacks: Tackle, Odor Sleuth, Mud Sport Abilities: Oblivious, Snow Cloak, Thick Fat Hit By: Used: Tackle Health: Green |

The Machop moved to get out of the way, but it was struck by the Tackle anyway. It got back on its feet and leered at the real Pokemon.

Nate was glad that the Machop did not use a damaging move. This was going to give him an advantage. "Tackle!" Was there really any point in him calling out the move? Well, it might help his Pokemon train...
Manny let out a breath of relief. He moved forward, keeping his eyes on his opponent. He wondered if a battle against a real Pokemon would be better or scarier. The Machop dashed to the side, but it tripped and felt the brunt of the attack. It narrowed its eyes at its opponent before jumping up and using Low Kick.

Nate winced as he watched the attack commence. He was reminded why he and his Pokemon needed to do this training. "Tackle!" That was all he could do at this point. He hoped his Swinub had a lot of stamina.
Manny froze when he saw the Machop coming at him. He knew he should try to dodge, but something held him in place. He whined when he was struck by a leg. Well, it was his turn to attack now. The Machop nearly fell over after being struck by Tackle. It then glowered at the other Pokemon, using Leer.

Manny watched with wide yes as the fighting type came at him. He had no chance to move. He rolled over after he was struck. He quickly got back on track and tried for another Tackle.
