Isis finally crashed to the ground after this final blow. She was defeated.
Sawyer dipped her head in defeat. "Thank you, Isis. Take a rest now." It was time for her third and final Pokemon. She returned her Ekans and then released her Stunky. "Tammy, use Poison Gas!"
Tammy let out one big yawn before taking in her opponent. She was fighting that guy? She hoped she could do it. She turned around, raised her tail, and released her stink. Roark gave his Pokemon a small nod. "Good work, Cranidos." He took in his opponent's new Pokemon. "A shiny Stunky, huh? Impressive, but it's not enough. Cranidos, use Headbutt!"
Cranidos coughed as the poisonous gas hit him. He could feel the poison seep into his skin. This was not good. He had to fight hard while he still had the chance. He lowered his head and ran at the other Pokemon.  Level: 14 Attacks: Headbutt, Pursuit, Leer, Focus Energy Abilities: Mold Breaker, Sheer Force Hit By: Poison Gas Used: Headbutt Health: High Red, poisoned! Ekans has gained one level. |

Sawyer felt pumped as the battle continued. Her opponent was poisoned and weak. This was their chance to win! "Now use Fury Swipes!"
Tammy smiled when she saw the effects of her attack. She did not think she stunk, but she was glad others did. She was knocked back by a hard head, but she quickly got back on her feet. She immediately ran at her opponent and raised her claws. Level: 16 Attacks: Scratch, Focus Energy, Poison Gas, Screech, Fury Swipes, Smokescreen Abilities: Stench, Aftermath, Keen Eye Hit By: Headbutt Used: Fury Swipes Health: Low Green |

"Hang in there!" Roark called to his Pokemon. Thankfully, he was still standing. "Use Pursuit!"
Cranidos let out a mighty roar. He would not be subdued by mere poison! He moved back to get away to the Stunky's claws. Then he positioned himself and darted forward. Level: 14 Attacks: Headbutt, Pursuit, Leer, Focus Energy Abilities: Mold Breaker, Sheer Force Hit By: Fury Swipes Used: Pursuit Health: Red/Low Red, poisoned! |

Sawyer could see that the rock type was worn out. One more good strike should do it. "Let's go, Tammy. Use Scratch!!" She knew this was it.
Tammy took several deep breaths. She was feeling tired, but she had to do this. She was almost done. After gathering her energy, she ran forward and then raised her claws to attack. Cranidos could barely move to dodge the attack. Once he was hit, he crashed to the ground and did not get back up.
"Good work, Cranidos," Roark said before returning him to his Pokeball. Then he smiled at Sawyer. "It looks like you won. Congratulations. You are on your way to becoming a fabulous trainer." Level: 14 Attacks: Headbutt, Pursuit, Leer, Focus Energy Abilities: Mold Breaker, Sheer Force Hit By: Scratch Used: Health: --- Stunky has gained two levels! She may now learn Feint.

Sawyer smiled and pat her Pokemon's head. "Thank you, Tammy." The Stunky had worked hard, and she was proud. She gladly accepted the gym leader's praise. "Thank you. I will see you again." Once she became a real trainer. She then left the gym with her head held high. OOC: finished |
