Nate could see he was in trouble. He did not know how to get out of this mess. Well, it was practice, after all. "Hang in there, Estel! Use Tackle!"
Estel braced himself for the oncoming fire. Gritting his teeth, he refused to give in. <Your fire does not scare me!> With that, he charged forward with all his might. Gary;s eyes followed the path of the Pokemon. He wondered if this battle would get any more interesting. "Use Tackle followed by Leer!"
Stephan stumbled backwards trying to get out of the way of the Bulbasaur. He fell onto his back and was then struck by his opponent. He got to his feet and then ran at him. Sawyer was proud of her Pokemon for battling so hard. She could tell this was going to end soon. "Alright, now Tail Whip and Ember!"
Milton smiled to himself. This battling thing was not too bad after all. He was almost going to win! He grunted as he was struck, but he did not let it phase him. Kiki wondered how she could switch up her strategy. Coming up with nothing, she decided to stick with the basics. "Tackle, again!" She held her breath as she waited to see what would happen.
Spud moved backwards, but there was no way for him to avoid the Tackle. He shook himself free of the weird sensation and then lockedin on his opponent. Nate held in a sigh. This was not going well at all. He clearly needed this class. Well, it was time to give it one last go. "Razor Leaf, now!"
Estel cringed as he felt the strong effects of the fire. Still, he refused to give up. He would always go down with a fight. He stood his ground and whipped out his sharp leaves as quickly as possible. Gary decided to spice things up so he would not become bored. He did not know if this would work, but it would make things more interesting. "Jump in the air and use Tackle!" He trusted his Pokemon to figure out how to get the job done.
Stephan looked up, getting an idea. He ran forward and then jumped into the air. He climbed onto the back of a chair and used it to launch himself further in the air. Sawyer smirked. She knew she had this battle won. She decided to switch it up a bit for the finale. "Now Tackle!"
Milton smiled happily. He rather liked battling now. He closed his eyes when leaves struck him. He told himself it would all be over soon. Opening his eyes, he charged forward, ready to strike. Kiki's mouth fell open when the Cyndaquil flew into the air. Wow, Gary had gotten creative! She had no idea how to do something like that. She chose to not be distracted and instead focus on her strategy. "Tackle!"
Bulbasaur followed the path of the Cyndaquil with his eyes. He was so astonished that he did not think to dodge. He cried out when his opponent crashed into him. He took a step back and focused. Nate smiled sadly at his Pokemon. He had tried his best, and he hoped they had both learned a lot. "Thanks for trying," he said. He walked over to the Chikorita and picked him up in his arms. Stephan could feel his blood pumping now. He was glad his trick had succeeded. Unfortunately, he could not do it twice. He quickly recovered after being hit and ran in to Tackle his opponent. Kiki wondered how this battle would turn out. Her Pokemon had a disadvantage, but at least Gary's Cyndaquil did not know any fire type moves. "Tackle, again!"
Spud grunted as the Cyndaquil struck him again. He blinked as he watched the fire type Leer. Now he was wishing this battle would just end. Still, he knew he had to fight his hardest to please his trainer. With that in mind, he tried another Tackle. Sawyer had expected to win, and she was not disappointed. "Great work, Milton." She rubbed her Tepig on his head when he returned to her. Now she supposed it was time to hear what the teacher had to say about her battle. After nodding at Nate, she took her seat. |

Gary saw the other finish their battles out of the corner of his eye. It looked like he needed to speed things up. Hopefully, his Cyndaquil would soon come out victorious. "Stephan, Tackle!"

Nate nodded at Sawyer when she looked at him. It had been an interesting battle. They both seemed to have a lot to improve on. That was why they were in the class, after all. He was eager to learn a lot. He held Estel in his arms as he sat down in his seat. |
