Spud widened his eyes when the fire came at him. There was nothing he could do to stop it. This last attack caused him to faint from exhaustion.
Faith knew this was coming, but it still saddened her to see her Pokemon defeated. "Take a nice rest now, Spud." Now it looked like she needed a water type. "You're up, Penelope!" The Seel did not know any damaging water moves, but she was considerably stronger than the Cyndaquil. "Use Water Sport and then Headbutt!"
Penelope wished she was up against a fiercer opponent, but maybe she would get to battle someone else if she defeated this guy. She prayed water on herself so far moves would be ineffective. Then she moved towards the Cyndaquil with her head lowered. Cyndaquil has gained 2 levels! He may now learn Quick Attack. He is ready to evolve into Quilava.
Bulbasaur has gained 1 level! He may now learn Vine Whip.

Gary grinned at his Cyndaquil. "Good work, Stephan." Now he only had one more Pokemon to defeat. That Seel would be a little tougher, but he believed in his Pokemon. "Use Quick Attack!"
Stephan smiled happily. That battle was not so bad. His smile faded when he realized he now faced a water type. He hoped his trainer knew what he was doing. He winced when the Seel slammed her head against him. He took a depe breath and then ran forward, using Quick Attack. Kiki smiled in approval. The battle was going to turn in a different direction now. "Alright, use Ice Shard!"
Penelope smirked at the little Cyndaquil. <You'll have to do better than that to hurt me!> She positioned herself correctly and then let her ice shards loose. Gary watched the Seel carefully. It did not seem like she knew any water type moves, which was good. When he saw the ice attack coming, he acted quickly. "Use Ember to deflect that!"
Stephan opened his mouth and shot out his fire balls. Unfortunately, his aim was a little off, and he was still struck by some sharp shards of ice. Kiki felt confident about this round of the battle. There was no way that little fire Pokemon could win. "Now Icy Wind!"
Penelope smirked at the Cyndaquil. <Is that all?> She could take his fire balls all day! She took a deep rbeath and let it out in an icy wind. "Hang in there!" Gary called. "Use Quick Attack!" It would almost be time for the final round of the battle.
Stephan shivered in the cold. He knew he could melt the ice with his fire, but he still did not like the feeling. He took a deep breath and then ran. Kiki was impressed by the Cyndaquil's endurance. He just did not want to give up. It looked like she would have to do this the hard way. "Penelope, give him a good Headbutt!"
Penelope watched the fire type zoom at her, grunting when he collided with her side. <You've still got life left in you?> She lowered her head and prepared to strike back. Stephan was too exhausted to move out of the way. The Seel sent him flying. When he finally skid to a halt, he had fainted.
"Thank you, Stephan," Gary said before returning his Cyndaquil to his pokeball. Now he had one Pokemon left. He had several options, but he knew who he wanted to use. "Shia! Let's use Poison Sting!"
The Ekans appeared with a flash of light. She snarled at the Seel and braced for battle. She moved her body up so she appeared twice as tall. Then she released her poisonous darts. Level: 14 Attacks: Tackle, Leer, Smokescreen, Ember, Quick Attack TM: Overheat Abilities: Blaze, Flash Fire Hit By: Headbutt Used: Health: ---  Level: 20 Attacks: Wrap, Leer, Poison Sting, Bite, Glare, Screech, Acid Abilities: Intimidate, Shed Skin, Unnerve Hit By: Used: Poison Sting Health: High Green |

"Awesome, Penelope!" Kiki exclaimed. The Seel looked back at her and nodded. Only one more Pokemon to go! "Okay, let's use Ice Shard!"
Penelope beamed with pride. Winning was what she did best. She was not intimidated by the Ekans who appeared before her. Thankfully, the Poison Sting did not poison her. After shaking off the attack, she shot out some icy shards.
