However, seeing ehr zorua get hit made her frown a bit but she spoke- "OKAY ZORUA1 GO FOR LEER AND SCRATCH THIS TIME!" The girl smirked knowing this would hurt if it hit. The zorua again leered at the other fox, and then rushed forward with its claws.OOC:

Tamaki knew that his knowledge of Pokemon battles was not quite up to par. That was why he was in this class though, right? "You use Leer and Pursuit!" Maybe it would work for him.
Reynard grunted after he was scratched by the Zorua. He wondered why a move from his own kind could hurt so much.

Faith smiled at Miss Riverton. "Thank you." This would certainly be an interesting situation. She hoped she would learn a lot. She took her place on the opposite side of the space, and her Happiny stood before her. "Alright, start off with Pound!"
Sarah wondered what was going on. A battle? She had never done that before. She supposed she just had to listen to her trainer. She gave the Teddiursa a friendly wave. She hoped they could have fun together. Once she heard the first command, she tottered forward and raised her fist to strike. Miss Riverton had not battled much recently due to her teaching duties. Plus, everyone she battled against was at her level. It was nice to fight someone more casually.
"Teddy, use Scratch!"
The Teddiursa growled ferociously. He was ready for this battle! Unfortunately, he was too late to dodge the Pound attack. He shook his head to clear it. Angel tottered to the side but could not escape the bear's claws. She whimpered as she withstood the pain. She knew she had to continue battling, so she faced her opponent bravely and prepared to strike. The Teddiursa held in a whimper. This battling thing was tougher than he thought. He made sure to stay close to his opponent, and then he stuck out his tongue in order to get in a good Lick. Faith winced as she watched the attack follow through. Se breathed in relief when it seemed her Pokemon had not been paralyzed. "Okay, now Pound followed by Charm!"
Angel froze in terror as the Teddiursa licked her. She shut her eyes tightly, disliking the sensation. She took a deep breath and opened her eyes. Time to attack back. She leapt forward to use Pound. Miss Riverton could already see areas for improvement, but she kept this to herself. "Teddy, Scratch!" She was glad her Teddiursa knew a variety of moves right off the bat.
Teddy frowned when he saw his Lick had not had its intended effect. Maybe he could try again later. He nearly jumped when he was attacked again. He shook off the feeling and prepared to use his claws for a Scratch attack.
