Walking into the fire building Walter smirked. With him was Kitten and today was all about her. Where as Rockstar got to have a battle with another trainer's pokemon Kitten would get to battle virtually. Why? Well the brown eyed boy had noticed that a lot of kids had Vulpixs'. A lot of people seemed to have fire pokemon in general as he thought about it. Well, because of that he thought it would be best to get in some training on the machines first then have his sassy girl battle against a real pokemon first. Therefore has they entered the room with all the machines Walter as careful to let the Vulpix walk in first before closing the door. As he looked around he noticed that there where a few people already here. Still he moved to a machine a bit off from the others and set himself and Kitten up. Turning it on the both of them waited for the first pokemon to appear. The background was white and plain as could be. The simulation began and, pixel by pixel, an artificial sandshrew appeared. It stood unblinking, barely programmed to appear as if it were breathing. Indifferently, it waited upon the trainer to make the first move. As the ground Pokemon appeared Walter stood proud and Kitten did the same. "Okay Kitten let's kick it's coded butt!" The boy called as he pointed towards the Pokemon. <With pleasure!> the Pokemon replied as she moved forward. Running she came at the Pokemon from head on. "Use ember!" Walter called and the fire fox opened her mouth sending the attack for the other Pokemon.

The programmed sandshrew took the ember, unflinching. When the damage was done, the system settled on a move to use. The artificial intelligence decided a scratch attack would be good to use, since the vulpix was so close. Seeing the computerized Pokemon take the ember Walter pumped his curled arm and let out a "Yay! Way to go!" To the fox then watched as it made a move. "Swing right, dodge!" The brown haired boy said, but Vulpix didn't listen and tried to dodge her own way only to be hit by the sharp claws. "Counter with ember!" The teen called and the fire Pokemon spun around to face the ground type while moving backwards. Quickly kitten spat out another ember.

The program only registered the hit. It once again calculated what would be the best move. The vulpix did well enough against a scratch. Perhaps a poison sting would fair better. The sandshrew ran with a stilted, automatic gait at the vulpix, intending to slash at the fire type with toxic nails. This was going to be a rather interesting training session that much Walter knew for sure. As the computer pokemon took the hit, the brown haired boy watched as it made it's move. The small sun above from Kitten's drought ability made her fire move a bit stronger, but still the teen was unsure how this was gonna play out. "Kitten dodge it." He called out and the Vulpix ran forward, only to swiftly move out of the way, the Pokemon's claws less then an inch away from her side as she ducked away from it. "Don't turn your back to it!" Walter ordered, but Kitten used her placement to the pokemon and swished her tail at it, using tail whip in a cute manner. "Don't be a diva! Use ember!' He then called and the fire pokemon spun around and spat her hot embers at the pokemon again. If the computer program had been designed to anything other than offer a speedy, reliable way for the students to level up their pokemon, it might have wondered how the vulix evaded it so quickly. It probably would have figured it was its robotic manner of moving. Regardless, the sandshrew once again took the attack. The tail whip lowered its defense, but ember was not a phyiscal move. The sandshrew registered the tail whip as more important than the ember, so it used defense curl. Walter also wondered how Kitten moved so fast. Was it thanks to her sassy nature? He simply wasn't sure. Watching as the computer Pokemon curled it's self up the brown eyed boy was glad it didn't attack while Kitten's back was turned. "Use Ember again!" Walter called out. Oh how he hoped the fire Pokemon learned another move soon. After this session perhaps they would go to the park and he could attempt to show her how to do a move. Of course that probably would work for the sassy Pokemon. Focusing again he watched as his Vulpix stayed near him and then opened her mouth releasing her attack.

The sandshrew uncurled after the ember hit it. Emotionlessly, it used sand attack. Hm, the program noted that its health was getting low. It might use two moves at a time after this. This battle was interesting, but it lacked something. Something real, perhaps he would go battle a real Sandshrew within the next week. Seeing the thing uncurl after taking the ember he saw it send out a sand attack. "Watch o- oh too late. Shake it off and use Ember again." The boy said as he saw Kitten get hit in the fast. The tear-y eyed Pokemon ran forward to get in close before she sent another ember at the thing and gave it all the power she could hoping to make a big impact as this was the last turn for her drought ability.

The vulpix successfully landed a critical hit. The sandshrew sparkled for a moment. Perhaps it was congratulating the users for doing such? Regardless, the sandshrew retaliated with a poison sting and a defense curl, claw out as it rolled towards the vulpix. "Great job, oh watch it!" Walter said as the ember hit, and the pokemon sparked. He did raise a brow at that, but figured it was just something the machine does. "Whoa dodge it." He then said as the ground time came at them with another attack. One that was rolling it would seem in a defense curl combo which Walter thought was pretty cool. Still even though kitten saw it she couldn't move fast enough as was stuck. "You okay? Use Ember!" The brown haired boy called as he was worried, but wanted to finish this already. With that Kitten moved forward a bit slower this time, and feeling a bit sick as well. Mouth opening she used ember once more. The ember hit. Thanks to the tail whip used earlier, the move did more damage. The sandshrew uncurled and stood perfectly still. Just as it had appeared, pixel by pixel it faded away. After a moment, it was completely gone. Watching as the pokemon was hit and then disappeared, Walter grinned. Looking over at Kitten he spoke in a cheerful voice. "You wanna keep on at it?" He asked then once the pokemon nodded her head yes, he got an idea. He had nothing to cure the poison, but he had something to help heal her up. Taking a potion out of his bag he sprayed it on the fire fox pokemon. "There we are now we wait to see. Get ready." Walter commented as he tossed the empty bottle into his bag.
