She wasn’t the type to think deeply, and there was a reason for that. She hated all the heavy, intense feelings that came with brooding. Honestly, she had just come out for shopping. With a bag filled with a calender, some dance videos, and accessory kits, it wasn’t as if she had brought anything that should really put her on edge. Yet, as she walked in the rain, it felt suiting. She felt heavy, let there was led in her stomach.
Maybe it was guilt.
’I didn’t mean let me know like this Meloetta,’ Dawn tutted mentally. Rude legendary, giving her all these terrible feelings! Or… maybe it was Mesprit. Dawn tugged at her beanie, trying to think straight. Had she gotten everything she needed? It was so wet and chilly. Even though she was in a slicker and had her umbrella up, she was still getting wet. She blinked. Did… she just see two signs up ahead?
She considered calling out one of her pokemon, but this weather was pitiful. She wouldn’t subject them to that. ”Rain, rain, go away,” the girl sing-songed to herself, not quite putting out the effort required to make her words into a melody. She’d felt this way for an hour now, just down in the dumps. She hated when she felt guilty.
”Who did I screw over, though…?” She couldn’t recall actively being mean to anyone. Maybe it was being catty? No, that was so stupid, so very stupid. It wasn’t like everyone else wasn’t that way! Everyone else was just like her. They were all just as ugly as they could be when no one was watching. Swaying, Dawn continued walking, determined to get back to the academy, her dorm, and drink some hot broth. She sneezed.

The cold rain fell from the skies above, as if it was in some sort of competition with the outside air. Both of which were not very pleasant to be in one way or the other. Walking down the hard street, Jack had his umbrella up as it helped protect him from the downpour. On the ground before him, all he could see was what looked like white sparks cracking against the walkway. The rain seemed to be coming down hard and fast, and did not look to be letting up anytime soon.
As he looked upwards he saw what appeared to be an individual with a shopping bag, and looked to be having a difficult time. Walking next to the female, Jack moved his umbrella upwards so he could see the female clearly exposing his face.
"Don't let it get you down..." Jack said, as he tried to be heard over the rain falling. "...Whatever happened or screwed over I mean... don't let it get you down." Jack said in a serious tone as if he was answering her question she asked out loud.
Moving his hand out from under the dry protection of the umbrella, Jack could feel the thuds of the thick water droplets hit the inside of his palm.
Lowering his black umbrella, Jack then closed it as he was now under the rain's cold relentless mercy. Lowering it to his side, he then looked at the female, and then looked up into the air.
"A word of advice... When it rains on your parade, look up rather than down. Without the rain, there would be no rainbow..." Jack said as he continued to look upwards for a few more seconds. Slowly lowering his head, his piercing blue eyes looked forward as he gazed upon the horizon with determination as his brows narrowed. Quickly twirling his closed black umbrella in his hand, he then handed it off to the female in case she ever needed a spare in the near future.
"Some people walk in the rain, others just get wet." Jack said as he looked at the girl one last time.
Reaching behind his back, Jack pulled out a Pokeball as he then casually tossed it towards the ground. With a *Pop* Poocheyna emerged along with a cloud of black mist, signifying he was a Dark type Pokemon.
Looking down at his serious natured Poocheyna, Jack nodded to it as its tail wagged quickly in the rain as if it was not effected by it in any way. Walking forward, Jack looked over his shoulder briefly back at the female as his Poocheyna walked next to him in sync through the cold falling rain...

Even with the heavy rain, the splashing sound of feet was pretty unmistakable. She looked up just in time to look into Jack’s eyes. Dawn that they both had blue eyes, though his held a much harsher aura about them. However, what really captivated her attention was his hair. She tilted her head in a confused way, blinking and letting a small ‘o’ of awe form on her lips.
Wait, crap, had he heard her? She brought a hand up, smoothing her wet hair. She was lucky it was raining. Even if it was cold, it was better to be on the verge of shivering than be seen with her natural hair. ”Heh, thanks.” She grinned at the rest of the words. He sounded like some sort of poet. However, as pretty as those words were, the rain could still do incredible damage. Did the pleasure balance out the pain? Who knew.
Dawn took the umbrella, a bit baffled. He’s so serious, she thought, but kind. She’d met more than her fair share of people like that. Gripping the umbrella, she knew for a fact she was going to have to repay all these people. Not because they particularly expected her to, but because it was a terrible and sad thing when a good person was left neglected. ’What’s the difference?” she asked, concerning the walking and the getting wet.
She watched him go for about half a second before she fumbled with the umbrella, trying to get it up. Succeeding, she would try her hardest to catch up to Jack. It wasn’t like he’d run away from her though, right? If he did, there was no way she’d be able to catch up. Though she couldn’t tell due to his clothing, he was much more athletic than her--it’d be no contest if there was any sort of chase. ”Wait!” If she caught up, she’d try and angle it so that he was under the umbrella, too. Short as she was, she’d have to lift her arm a bit.
”Thanks.” Insert one of her trademark, no-need-to-worry smiles here and you had a recipe for a rare sort of Dawn not many got to see: less put together than usual and a bit more honest than she was comfortable with. ”I’m Dawn Berlitz, freshman at Cherilli Academy. Who’re you?”

As he heard the female yell for him to wait he then closed his eyes as he stopped in place along with his Poocheyna. Hearing her footsteps get closer he then opened his eyes, as he turned and watched her approach him through his damp hair. Stopping next to him, she angled the umbrella to cover him as well to keep him dry from the tercentennial downpour. It seemed as if she was already in good mood from just a second ago. Now she was smiling and thanking him.
"I’m Dawn Berlitz, freshman at Cherilli Academy. Who’re you?” Dawn asked.
"I'm-" Jack replied before he stopped.
Suddenly, he looked upward at the umbrella over his head, and then back down at Dawn.
"...Look... I don't normally do this type of thing." Jack said in a serious tone, as he looked into Dawn's blue iris'.
Quickly, Jack started to take off his red jacket which he was wearing and then held it out in front of his body with both hands. Not wasting any time, he then moved behind Dawn as he placed the jacket over her shoulders. On the ground next to him, Jack's Poocheyna tilted his head as if this was something odd for him to see. Maybe he really didn't do this sort of thing that often. Then again if that were true, why did he decide to do it now?
Then lifting his hand up, he placed his hand on the upper part of the exposed umbrella handle Dawn was currently holding. With his opposite arm, he put his hand out towards her shopping bag as he then looked at her.
"You are showing the first symptoms of getting sick. It wasn't as apparent as I thought it was until you sneezed earlier. That's what the jacket is for, to help keep you warm and to prevent you from getting sick any further. I'll take the umbrella so your arm is not sore from straining to keep it up for the both of us, since you are shorter than I am. I can take your shopping bag for you as well. You'll need both hands available if you want to keep and stay warm effectively." Jack said to her in a still serious tone.
Not showing signs of being cold in just his black tee-shirt now, Jack stood there in place looking her straight in the eyes.
"...To answer your question, the difference is which one you decide to live your life by. Walk through the rain and not let the hardships effect you in any way, or let it get you wet and weigh you down any chance it gets." Jack said as he remained with one hand on the umbrella and one hand out in front of him offering to carry her things...

Oh good, he stopped. However, she was taken off guard by him yet again. There was simply no predicting the stranger. She watched him, about to move out of the way when she realized what he was doing. She only blushed a bit; this sort of thing had been done with her before, but it still meant something everytime. This time, she supposed it just meant this stranger was very nice. Right? ”I guess I definitely owe you. Thanks, again.”
She blinked, feeling a bit stupid and more like a child than a half-grown girl. She hurriedly passed him the umbrella and the shopping bag, feeling a bit sorry. She’d gotten someone else caught up in her problems. Not breaking his gaze until her hands were free, she muttered, ”You’re awful nice, dude.” She shrugged his jacket on more correctly. Wow, it was huge on her! Well, not, kid-in-their-dad’s-shirt huge, but the sleeves still went past her arms. She pushed them up a bit, mostly to make sure they wouldn’t swing and get wet unnecessarily on anything.
She felt bad that he was in just his shirt. Still, he wasn’t acting like he was cold. She’d just have to make sure they hurried back.
The girl did take a bit of issue with his words, though. ”Are you really living, then?” she quipped. ”If nothing touches you, if nothing shakes you, are you any different from a stone?” Maybe she felt so strongly about this because her patron legendary was Mesprit, the being of emotion. ”It might suck to get bogged down from time to time, but how else do you know you’re alive if you’re not affected by the world?” When had this turned into a philosophical debate? She didn’t even know his name. He hadn’t given it to her either. Had he made a point not to? She couldn’t be too demanding with him, when he was helping her so much. She cast a glance down at the poochyena and decided she’d call the guy Wolf until she got a real name for him.

The cold hard rain continued to fall from the heavens above as it connected against the surfaces that made up the local area from which the storm was currently present in.
"I guess I definitely owe you. Thanks again" Jack heard the girl say onto him.
Jack stood in place as he saw Dawn take some comfort in the situation at hand. After receiving the umbrella and shopping bag from Dawn, Jack watched as she put her arms through the jackets sleeves. It looked a bit big on her, but nothing extreme.
"You're awful nice, dude." Dawn said as she finished getting the jacket adjusted properly.
Hearing her words, Jack looked down at the ground and then raised his head as his blue iris to hers.
"Are you really living, then?” she quipped.
”If nothing touches you, if nothing shakes you, are you any different from a stone? It might suck to get bogged down from time to time, but how else do you know you’re alive if you’re not affected by the world?” Dawn continued.
Jack heard her words and took them in to think about for a second. The words she spoke hit something deep within Jack as he could relate to the words very well.
"Well... I guess it depends what experiences in life that rock has had in the past. Perhaps it knows what the world is really capable of doing and figures its best to protect itself any way it can... Then again, like I said. I'm new at this sort of thing." Jack replied in his typical serious tone.
"Anyway, we don't have time to sit around and talk here. We need to get you inside someplace and get you dry and warm." Jack said. "Would y-" Jack suddenly stopped as he received a text message on his phone.
Pulling it out his red colored phone, he then read the text as he then proceeded to press a few buttons, making a response before sending it.
"Hmm..." Jack said as he stared at his screen as if he had a discomforting look in his eyes for a split second.
Putting his phone away back in his pocket, Jack looked back at Dawn.
"Dawn, something came up, I need to go." Jack said as he reached behind his back and pulled out a Pokeball. Aiming it his Poochyena, a blue like laser shot out of the center of it as it struck his pokemon. Within an instant a cloud of black mist formed where the Poochyena was sitting, and it returned back to its pokeball with a small recoil against Jack's wrist.
Putting it back onto his belt, Jack then looked at Dawn in the eyes again, then upwards into the sky.
"You're lucky." Jack said as he then closed the umbrella that was covering them both. Securing the umbrella shut, the rain slowly started to let up as the rain was falling less and less until ultimately stopping.
The clouds overhead slowly separated as rays of sunlight began to shine on the ground in random places, but how long would it last for? Collapsing the umbrella so it would be much smaller and easier to carry, Jack then placed it in his bad making sure not to ruin anything inside with where he placed it. Now, Dawn had only one thing to carry, instead of multiple. Handing it back to the girl, Jack then took a step back as he nodded.
Turning Jack started to walk towards the thick woods that was on the other side of the street. Where was he headed? Was he looking for Pokemon? Walking forth, Jack wouldn't expect her to follow him, then again, what would she find if she did?...

When a girl is the social type, she gains certain skills. She begins to notice things about others. So, the fact that Jack couldn’t make eye contact with her when she called him nice wasn’t lost on her. She held her tongue for once, though.
She didn’t retort when he explained his words. She understood that, in a way. Except, where it seemed that he tried to completely block out the world, she raged upon it. The fear of being a laughing stock reduced her to pettiness and an attitude unfit for a girl who could potentially be gentler and kinder than a summer breeze. She was named after the most soothing part of the day, when the danger of night was chased away with the light of the sun. Yet, out of emotional self defense, she became heat rather than light--she burned some and warmed others. But, that’s off topic. At any rate, she understood him. She understood.
”Hehe, you’re right. Sorry for making you look after me!” Dawn began, only realizing his attention was lost once she opened her eyes from the momentary embarrassment to spy his red phone. Again, she noted his eyes. A more tender person would have at once tried to reach out and comfort him. Dawn merely gave him some mental room, keeping her mouth shut. A coward through and through when it came to being vulnerable with others, she didn’t expect this guy to open up with her.
She nodded. ”Oh, then hurry, okay? Don’t let me hold you up.” She smiled again, giving him a thumbs up. Whatever he was up to, she wanted to wish him the best. Standing in the temporarily clear weather, she took her bag back. She did have to wonder what in the world he was headed into the woods for. Deciding to mind her own business, Dawn walked on for about five steps.
Then she remembered he had on his jacket. ”Crap.” She stood, looking to where Jack had gone. She didn’t even know his name. If she did, she might have asked around and returned it to him later. As it was, she might end up with it for real and while she didn’t mind taking things from people she didn’t like (never for good, only to hide it somewhere childish), the stranger she had dubbed Wolf had done nothing to incur her wrath. Rather, she owed him. Breathing deeply, she debated keeping the jacket and heading to the dorm.
Pros of going into the woods: Wolf gets his jacket back, she would learn his real name, and she’d get her curiousity satisified. Cons of going into the woods: She was already feeling a bit of a fever coming on, she wasn’t nearly athletic enough to keep up with him if he had picked up the pace, and he might be doing something private as he had ditched her. Still…
”I can’t believe I’m doing this,” she growled mostly to herself, rolling up the sleeves on Jack’s jacket. She hoped her exploring skills were still as good as they had been when she was a child in Sinnoh, traveling all around Lake Verity’s woods without getting lost. The short girl picked up her pace to a jog, aware an actual sprint or run would leave her a tired wreck. Her aim was for a head full of white.
God the puddles were cold.

The woods were dark. The thick trees and tree line above acted like a natural roof, only selecting small areas for the already low amount of sunlight to enter.
Walking at a slow rate of speed, Jack knew he had to be careful through here. It had just rained and that meant any rock in here could hold the potential for an injury if slipped upon. It didn't help either that it had just rained, since the outside sky was still a bit gloomy. At any rate, he continued to walk through the dense woods.
After several minutes of traveling, Jack came to the edge of a river bed. The water in the river was rushing fast and seemed like it would go up to his stomach. The water was bound to be cold since it just rained recently, not to mention the fast moving water seemed to be the result of a nearby city or establishment draining to get into the ocean.
*Bee-Bloop* Another text message.
Reaching into his pocket he pulled his cell phone out to read the message.
UNKNOWN: "Are you close?"
Pressing the buttons on the surface of his phone, Jack responded to the message...
JACK: "Yes. At the river. Be there in five minutes."
Putting his phone back in his pocket he remained standing in place, as he looked around the edge of the river bed. His blue iris' scanned the area nearby as if he was looking for something in particular. After several seconds he spotted the old bridge.
Walking along the outer river bed, Jack came to the old wooden bridge. Back in the day it may have been trust worthy, but now a days it was looking questionable. I guess if it had not rained today, the river would of been safe to cross without any worry. But since it had, Jack had to trust the bridge would hold out.
Placing a hand on each sides of the rope made handles, Jack carefully started to walk across the bridge. It wobbled every now and then, that caused him to stop suddenly, bracing himself for whatever would come next, but nothing happened. Below him, the roaring sound of the water below rushed passed him as he was almost on the other side.
*CRR-CRSSH*
Suddenly, a board beneath Jack's foot broke in half as it left his leg dangling freely in between the other two boards. With a grunt of pain, Jack carefully pulled his leg up as he then stood erect on the bridge again. Looking down at his leg, he noticed the wood had sliced his skin a bit as it tore through his pant leg. Nothing horrible, but it could of definitely been worse. Shrugging it off, Jack continued to walk as a few steps later he was on the other side of the river safe.
In front of him was another dense wood line were he would be meeting this "Unknown individual" somewhere close inside...

This was dumb. This was so dumb. Dawn was about as skittish as a cat trapped in a dog pound right now. Even though it was daylight, the woods were pretty darn healthy and thick with leaf coverage. What few dapples of light there were she was grateful for. Skidding on a slick patch of grass and rock, Dawn introduced her sweet little lips to tree bark. No damage done and, since no one was around, she couldn’t really be embarrassed. She continued, rubbing her face with the back of her palm. She checked on her videos and some of the glass beads to make sure they hadn’t been roughed up. Good, everything was still in order.
When she heard the sound of rushing water, she was half tempted to stop. Growing up with Kenny, Dawn had “accidentally” (she had a suspicion that Kenny had purposefully arrange this situation more than once) walked up on someone communing with nature in the most needlessly barbaric manner. She didn’t know Jack nearly well enough to even try that sort of stunt. Maybe she should just turn around.
No, that was stupid, too. Who bathed in a river in this weather? Ducking under a branch, the girl saw the bridge and the river. And, of course, she saw her fleeing target. As a side note, she forced herself to try and remember the river. It would be nice to play in come summer. He’s sure going slow, she noticed. Maybe he’s headed home. What if there was a family emergency? Now more than ever, Dawn had the urge to return to the city while she still had a good enough grip on her location and the rain wasn’t pouring down. What was one jacket?
Thinking of his earlier kindness, she felt guilty. She’d never actually seen Mesprit before, but those ancient paintings gleamed in her mind’s eye. Her mother prayed that she would be a good girl. Too bad doing what she thought was the right thing sucked absolute, rotten pidgey eggs. Walking over to the bridge, Dawn went slow and steady. Tiny as she was, none of the boards gave way. A dancer at heart, it wasn’t hard to find her balance either. However, when she saw the freshly broken board, she paused.
Was that blood?
”Crap, Wolf…” Okay, okay, you’ve got plenty of reason to be following him now, she assured herself as she stepped over the missing spot and continued. She tensed up, something about the whole situation not sitting right with her. She was reminded of the tales of drifloons which would spirit children away. Not this guy, though, right? Just give him back the jacket, make sure he’s okay, and go on your way. She threw a final glance at the darkness she had just left before plunging into the new darkness.
She would have called out for him to slow down and wait on her if she only knew his name. Still, there wasn’t that much distance between them now. Somehow, I feel like the big bad wolf and he’s Little Red Riding Hood, she mused. Yeah, if the wolf had blue fur and was smaller, weaker, and more naive than little Red. Hm, that’d make for an interesting modern fairytale.

Stepping foot through the new dense part of the woods, Jack suddenly stopped as he turned around. As his eyes slowly scanned the area behind him, he could not see anyone. Leaving his eyes towards the way he came, he finally turned as he headed into the shadowy woods.
Moving through the woods, several minutes had passed as he ignored the acute pain in his leg. Through the tall grass, and large boulders he knew he was close to where he had to be. Ducking under branches and moving overgrown grass out of the way, he finally came to the clearing.
The clearing was circular in shape and held many dark shadowy areas. It didnt help the gloomy sky above provided more darkness to the already spooky woods. Standing in the middle of the clearing was a silhouette of a man. Next to the man was a giant bird, by the looks of it could pass as a Pidgeot. Jack could not see the face of the man due to where he was positioned in the shadows but, they had a system for that sort of thing.
"Flash" Jack said out loud towards the man as he did not break his stride walking towards him.
"Thunder." The man replied as he stood in place.
With the confirmation complete, it was now proven to Jack this was the man behind the "unknown" caller. If it was not the man, then they would not know what word to use after hearing Jack say "Flash".
"You're one minute twenty seconds late there boy." The unknown man said to Jack as he closed the cover to his pocket watch, before returning it back into his inner pocket of his nice jacket.
Stopping in front of the man, Jack folded his arms across his chest.
"Sorry sir, I got held up." Jack replied to the man.
"...Held up? Oh Jack, Jack, Jack... Please tell me it wasn't because of some girl, was it?" The man asked.
Holding a serious tone to his face, Jack paused for a second, waiting to hear if there was anything else the man was gonna say, and also thinking this guy was treating him like a child.
"I was with a girl before heading over here yes, but that's not the reas-" Jack started to say before he was cut off by the sound of the Pidgeot screeching at him.
The Unknown man then lifted his hand upwards casually as if it was a signal for his Pidgeot to back off for now. Lowering his hand slowly back down the unknown man began to clear his throat.
"Were you followed?" the unknown man asked.
"No, of course not. The girl is sick, it'd be to risky of her to follow me in here in her condition. Plus shes smart, good looking, and seems like a good person. She likes to help people and from what I've seen ... you know, the type of people our organization doesn't like to recruit." Jack said as his eyes stayed glue on the man.
Chuckling to himself, the unknown man then sighed as he heard Jacks words. "Well, lets hope you were not followed, you know what we would have to do if you were right? I don't need to remind you right?"
"No. I got it." Jack replied.
Lifting his chin upwards into the air, the unknown man then sighed. "Very well then... shall we get down to business?.. Do you have what I asked for?"
Nodding his head, Jack then reached into his pocket as he pulled out an external flash drive.
"Its all here. Straight from principal Sash's office." Jack said as he held the flash drive in his hand...

She kept her hand on a boulder, a bit lost in all the thick undergrowth. She was just short enough to where the grass was unreasonably tall against her. The branches weren’t what she had to worry about--it was all these overgrown weeds! The primadonna turned when her pants got snagged on a patch of low briars. She carefully freed herself, mindful not to cause any more damage. Darn! She really liked these pants.
The girl continued walking, mostly following where the grass had been disturbed, when she heard the code exchange. Of course, she had no idea it was code. Dawn merely assumed they were discussing moves. Or pet names. Dawn drew closer before the conversation was ever so slightly audible. Thanks to the quiet of the forest, she could remain in the grass while listening in. She placed her hand against another cool, wet rock.
It was then that the conversation started making sense to her and she brought a hand to her mouth. She couldn’t put all the details in places, but she knew she messed up. Wolfy-boy had been headed to a meeting, alright. Jack, she noted. Alright, she knew his name. All she had to do was get out of here, ask for a Jack, return his jacket, and pretend none of this ever happened.
Breathing heavily but trying her hardest not to freak out--which was quite a feat for a girl afraid of typical scary stuff and completely faithless concerning her ability to handle a bad situation by herself--Dawn tried to stand from where she had leaned against the boulder. Now you choose to get weak on me, she mentally hissed at her treacherous knees. Couldn’t go out when Greed invited us to the haunted house, could we? Couldn’t have gotten weak knees when freakin’ Walter and Micah played flame WARS, could ya’?!
Naturally, right when she got up the nerve to leave, she had to, had to hear the bit about Principal Sash’s office. Sliding back down against the rock, Dawn wanted to bash her skull against the stone, but knew better. That would make noise, and if she made noise, mystery guy would definitely hear her and Wolf-Jack would get in trouble or something. Furthermore, a girl who just got done smashing her head against a stone would be no good at running away, even compared to her usual capabilities.
Alright, Dawn. Pros and cons, pros and cons. Cons of running away: run the risk of getting caught as this grass is gonna be loud as heck, don’t find out what they’re talking about, might have to avoid Jack-Wolf because he never did personally admit his name. Pros: make it and pretend none of this ever happened. Cons of staying: run a risk of getting caught by Jack-Wolf when he leaves (if he leaves alone), it might start raining again, the fever and such might be a give away if the sneezing starts back up. Pros: find out what they’re talking about… make sure Jack-Wolf’s okay.
Leaning her head against the stone, Dawn bit her lip and pulled down her beanie to cover her face. She sobbed into it, muffling her cries with both her will and the material before her. Cresselia, Darkrai… this is just a dream, right? This is so surreal. This can’t be real. The blue haired girl wondered, as she sat against the stone, opposite side of the two strangers--one an enigma and the other owning some sort of bird--what her mother was doing. Johanna mentioned that the world could be a dangerous place.
Dawn just expected the danger to come from big terrorist organizations like Team Rocket or Team Aqua.

"You did good Jack. Was it hard to acquire?" the unknown man said?
"Its just a copy of the class list I got from her office while I set the distraction you asked for at the pond before the assembly... of course it wasn't hard." Jack said in a serious tone.
Taking the external hard drive from his hand, the unknown man held it in his hand as he inspected it briefly before putting it in his pocket.
"We done here now?" Jack asked.
"No, not quite." the unknown man replied.
Rolling his eyes, Jack then shifted the weight off his hurt leg as he listened.
"Don't roll your eyes at me boy. Remember who you belong to. You're apart of the new Team Rocket. You receive your orders and execute them without question. This is all... you will do good and last longer on the team and in life if you don't forget that." The unknown man said in a stern manner.
Adjusting his nice jacket the man then raised his chin again. "This is your new mission Jack. As you know, Team Rocket is all about capturing and acquiring strong pokemon. We got word there is a secret organization called the GOA. They like to recruit out the school you belong to, Cherilli Academy. We need you to act as our mole and get inside and see what you can find out about them, how many recruits they have total, how many members go to your school, what their plans are, and what strong Pokemon they have. Once completed.. well... we'll do what we do best, as you know."
"Understood. How am I supposed to find this GOA?" Jack asked.
"That's for you to find out Jack. Not me. Just make sure it happens and get me what I want." The unknown man replied. "Did the Pokemon you receive from your principal suit you well enough? Lets have a look."
Reaching behind his back, Jack pulled out a Pokeball as he then summoned his Poochyena on the ground in front of them. A black mist formed around the Pokemon as he entered the world.
"A Poochyena huh?... Not bad Jack. Lets hope he does the job." Unknown said.
On the ground in front of them, the Pochyena started to growl at the unknown man as its brows narrowed. Jack shared his dislike for the man as well, but he had a job to do after all. As the Poochyena slowly started to show its teeth it suddenly caught the scent of something nearby in the air as its nose started to sniff the air intensely.
Both Jack and the Unknown man took notice to it as they watched the Pokemon start to track the scent. Suddenly, the unknown man's Pidgeot started to scan the woods around them as well. With a quick jerk of the head, Poochyena then locked onto a place in the woods opposite of them as he started to growl loudly before barking. This caused the Pidgeot to look in that same direction as well, as it tried to use its keen eyesight being a bird Pokemon to see what it was Poochyena was barking at...
"Well, looks like they both know something we don't...." The unknown man said to Jack.
"Its probably just a wild Pokemon" Jack replied.
"Hmm... You better hope that girl didn't follow you here." unknown snapped.
"Like I said, its probably just a wild Pokemon, and if its her, I know what to do, I'll take care of it." Jack reassured him.
"... We'll see. Keep me informed, in the mean time, continue to plant those trackers on the students. If they really are apart of GOA at least we will have their location and could pin point their location from our base if you fail." The unknown man said as he hopped onto the back of his Pidgeot.
With a quick flap of its wings, the Pidgeot created a quick gust of wind, forcing Jack to cover his eyes for protection. Then, just like that, the Pidgeot shot into the air like a giant blur, leaving Jack...

You have to remember it all, she told herself. You have to remember it all, and you have to tell, and this isn’t cute, this isn’t like the stupid crap Greed does, this is serious, this is real, this-- was not at all like what her history books described. They made Team Rocket seem like a fool’s dream, some stupid organization that some headstrong boy took down and left a shell of itself. The history books didn’t say that anyone had been so scared they busted their own lip from bite pressure, the history books didn’t say that anyone curled into themselves with fear, the history books didn’t mention that maybe there were kids who simply weren’t prepared to be swept up in his madness.
In that moment, Dawn desperately wished she had a friend around. She was used to hiding behind people who were bigger and stronger than her, but she was alone in the grass now. She trembled, barely able to breath through how hard she was pressing the beanie against her face. Don’t scream, don’t scream, do not scream. But, she wanted to. Someone else should have handled this! She was just fourteen, darn it! She was the the shortest person in her class! Why couldn’t someone big and strong have handled this, like freakin’ Yami or Jen? She looked like she was edgy enough to run in there and handle it. It’s like the plusle and the minun all over! You’re not doing anything!
She barely suppressed a squeal of absolute terror when the poochyena started giving away her location. To think she’d thought that little dark type was cute! Cute her foot! With each bark, she sank lower against the stone until she was on the ground, more or less curled up into a little ball. Gross, gross, gross--at least it was grassy enough to where there were only grass stains, no mud on her.
Her only salvation was when the noise stopped. As soon as the flap of the pidgeot alerted her to a hopeful distraction, or at the very least the lightest of noise covers, she bolted. She had to absolutely make the most of her extremely limited stamina. Backtracking along the trails she’d followed him in on, Dawn prayed to every deity that would listen that Jack’s jacket might mask some of her scent if that poochyena came after her.
Those stupid teeth! she panicked. All she had to do was get to the bridge. She clasped her bag against her, trying to make as little noise as possible. If she got to the bridge, it wouldn’t be far from town. She could go to the police station, demand an escort back to school, and--
”I'm new at this sort of thing.”
… crap. Maybe she wouldn’t tell right away. That pidgeot-guy said something about a gee oh ay. There was definitely more going on here than Dawn knew and it was more than a little upsetting. She’d get down to the bottom of this. She’d say if it killed her, but she got a sneaking suspicion that if she didn’t get to the bottom, she’d probably be dead anyway.
”Shoulda prayed to Victini,” she wheezed.

Lowering his arm away from his face, Jack looked up into the newly formed roof of the forest as his brows then narrowed. Green leaves slowly fell down as then softly landed on the ground around Jack. Water droplets shortly followed as they fell down in unison with the leaves.
Snapping his head towards the direction Poochyena was barking at, Jack's eyes then widened.
"Hmm..." he said out loud to himself.
Looking down at his Poocheyna, Jack had a serious look on his face.
"After it." He commanded in a serious tone.
On that note, the Poocheyna took off as Jack followed close behind. Bolting through the woods, the two of them ran after the cause of what the two pokemon were alerting them all about.
"Its not Dawn... Please, not her!" Jack thought to himself as he continued his fast rate of speed. Up ahead he caught a glimpse of something red running away.
"That coat... D@MN*T!" Jack thought to himself as he knew it was Dawn running away from him.
Gaining ground quickly and closing in on her fast, Jack's brows narrowed as the two of them reached the river only a few yards away from the old bridge. Increasing his rate of speed, Jack commanded his Poocheyna to run ahead and block the bridge.
Using its Quick Feet Ability the Poocheyna was like a gray and black blur as it shot past Dawn. Sliding across the slippery floor of the forest, Poocheyna stood in front of the bridge, blocking Dawn's path as it growled. Making his sprint turn into a slow jog, then a walk, until finally stopping, Jack gave Dawn a fierce look as he had his arms crossed against his chest as he stood behind her.
"We need to talk." Jack said in an ever so serious tone...

Dawn squealed in open terror as the poochyena skidded in front of her, blocking her only exit. In her own sudden stop, she dropped her beanie. Of course, she could try to swim. No, she was pretty tired now… she was a strong enough swimmer, but that river… Crap, crap, crap! Dawn stopped in front of the poochyena, shamelessly bending over to catch her breath.
The dark type’s growls did anything but settle her nerves. Bottom lip bloody, eyes puffy, and face pale where it wasn’t flush, she probably looked like some abused puppy. Straightening, she turned when she heard Jack approaching. She licked the blood off her lips as her breathing slowly but surely evened out. Her knees trembled again, though this time for the fever’s warning that if she pushed herself too much more, she’d simply give out.
”Abou, about what?” she managed, chest heaving. She considered taking out her vulpix. Marco might prove a match for the poochyena… but that would leave her to deal with Jack. And, considering that he apparently wanted to talk, it was probably best to continue in the position she was in rather than turn this from a confrontation into a fight.
A part of her was suddenly struck by his color patterns. She’d only learned a bit about symbolism of color, but that didn’t matter. The fact was that he was a plain as day about his alliance and she literally needed to hear his boss or whatever point it out to pick up the hint. She looked down at the jacket she still wore. Looking back up at him, she pushed her yet again rain-wet-bangs out of her face. He freakin’ wore red, white, and black. How hadn’t she seen that coming? Every stupid documentary she’d ever seen about Team Rocket had that as their official color scheme!
In an attempt to take the edge of the tension she felt would crush her, she pointed at his hurt leg. ”Ho, how’re you holdin’ up?” That was part of the reason she’d followed him anyway. If she was gonna get it for her curiosity, she might as well sait herself.
