Cole watched us Sawyer powered up her Litleo's moves even more. This was a good idea since the fire type was at a disadvantage. The Fire Spin was unfortunate, but he planned to win soon enough. "Panpour, Fury Swipes!" After this he would go in for the big finish.
Panpour growled as the fire spun around him. He would not be beaten by such a weak move! he waited until the fire died down and then located the Litleo. he ran foward with his claws extended to strike. Sawyer could tell this battle was coming to a close. Who would come out victorious, however, was yet to be decided. She was going to fight until the end. "Dodge and use Headbutt!" She hoped her Litleo could stay strong.
Kopa was glad that the paralysis was not taking effect yet. He ran straight for the Panpour. He attempted to dodge the Fury Swipes, but he was unsuccessful. Still, he lowered his head and went in for the attack. Cole widened his eyes when his Panpour was struck. He knew he would not be able to battle for much longer. As much as he disliked it, he had to put an end to this. "I'm having fun, but this battle is over. Water Gun!"
Panpour moved to the right, but he tripped and fell on his face. Then he was struck by the Litleo's hard head. He growled as he slowly stood up. No fire type was going to get the best of him! He aimed and let out as much water as he could. Sawyer tensed as she wondered whether the paralysis would affect her Litleo yet. She had to assume the best. "Dodge and use Headbutt one more time!" She held her breath as she waited to see what would happen.
Kopa was breathing heavily as he faced the monkey. He just had to hold on a little bit longer. If that water hit him, he knew he would be done for. He felt the fire of his main grow in intensity, giving him strength. He jumped to the side in the last second, avoiding the attack. Then he continued running straight for the Panpour. Panpour thought he was going to finish off the Litleo, and his eyes widened in surprised when the lion dodged his attack. He spun around to try to spot him, but it was too late. The Headbutt caused him to fly across the ground. He fainted once he landed.
Cole's sudden loss startled the man. He quickly recovered and dipped his head in acknowledgment. "I have lost. Congratulations. Panpour, return." He knew how to learn from defeats, and he would not let this one go to waste. It was a rare trainer who could defeat him. He had to have her as a part of her organization. "I was highly impressed with your battling skills." He strode towards her, stopping a meter away. "I have a proposition for you. I am the leader of an organization dedicated to training with Pokemon to become stronger together. Would you be interested in joining us as a new recruit?" Level: 18 Attacks: Scratch, Play Nice, Leer, Lick, Water Gun, Fury Swipes, Water Sport Abilities: Gluttony, Torrent Hit By: Fire Spin (3/3), Headbutt Used: Health: --- Litleo has gained 4 levels. He now knows Take Down.

Kopa breathed a sigh of relief. When he realized he had won, he grinned and turned to look at his trainer proudly. Sawyer smiled at him. "You were awesome, Kopa. Great work." She stepped forward and rubbed his head. She looked up in surprise when she heard Cole's proposition. A secret organization to become stronger? She glanced down at her Litleo. "What do you think?" Her little lion nodded. Sawyer smiled and looked back at Cole. "It sounds interesting. How does the recruitment process work?" |

Cole was pleased by the girl's answer. "Excellent." He knew he had made a good choice. Now he had to follow his carefully laid plan. "Before I can give you any more information on the organization, you must complete the first mission. Beat a trainer in a one-on-one battle. Take a picture for proof. When this is accomplished, meet me outside headquarters. There is a waterfall near campus. Go behind the waterfall and stand outside the cave. Ask for Cole. Someone will fetch me. Any questions?" |

Sawyer listened carefully to Cole's words. This organization sounded very mysterious. It was almost suspicious, but she could not pass up the chance to become stronger. Would it really hurt to go through the recruitment process? "No. I understand. I'll be there when I accomplish this task." |

Cole's grin widened when he heard Sawyer's answer. He nodded once. "Excellent. I look forward to seeing you soon." With that, he turned and walked away. He had high hopes for the future of this girl. The rest, however, was in her hands. |

Sawyer nodded once. That sounded like an easy enough mission. She was certain she would be able to accomplish it soon. For now, she needed to go home and rest. She had enough of this festival. She turned and walked away with Kopa by her side. OOC: finished |
