Kagirinai yawned softly as he headed towards the forest outside of Shupert city deciding to do some more training and catching while he was there. He wanted to work on his Nidorino and Tauros before probably heading to the beach in order to train his Tangela against some water pokemon and perhaps catch a few keeping any he wanted and selling the ones he didn't. He sighed as he looked up at the dark clouds above. In the distance was a roaring tornado moving through the city. He had waited till it cleared from the forest before heading back here. He suppose he should have been in one of the shelters seeking refuge but no pain no gain. Besides if he wanted to become stronger he would need to tough out any and all elements. Besides while the other students were in cover he could use the chance to further himself and get a leg up on them.
Kagirinai began his walk deeper into the forest following a single path as he headed in. He was mainly looking for an electric type pokemon to help add a bit of diversity to his team or even a flying type. of course it was all about luck in regards to the pokemon he found. He wouldn't mind coming across a Meowth or even a Persian mainly because of the Pay Day move. He brushed a strand of hair out of his eyes as his Nidorino Dokuton walked beside him. The pokemon having evolved in his last battle was now far to big to sit on his head like he use to as a Nidoran, this had made the poison pokemon a little upset as sitting in Kagirinai's hair had become a favourite thing to do. Kagirinai patted his companion as they pushed branches and bushes out of their way.

A storm was raging on, a tornado in the distance, but that did not frighten a particular Elekid. This Elekid thrived on storms, especially when there was thunder and lightning. It had been fantastic when the tornado had gone through the forest. It had not done too much damage, but there was indeed debris in places with fallen trees and thorny bushes blocking the path that went through the forest. The Elekid was doing some kind of dance while excitedly shooting out electricity up into the sky. Sometimes he strayed and shot out the thunder shock somewhere in the forest to his left or right, but he did not seem to notice. He was too busy cackling at his fun. Kagirinai came to a halt as a bolt of lightning struck the ground coming from the right. He eyed the scorched grass before heading in the direction it came from. It hadn't come from the sky so there was a high possibility it came from an electric type pokemon. He made his way through the forest and over the debris pushing some aside as he came to the spot the lightning had come from. A good ten feet from him was an Elekid an electric type pokemon. He glanced at Dokuton and nodded. The poison pokemon gave a battle cry as a warning to alert the electric pokemon to his challenge to combat. He leered forth to first lower its defence before he lowered his horn and fired off a volley of poison needesl Level: 17 Attacks: Leer, Peck, Focus Energy, Double Kick, Poison Sting, Beat Up Abilities: Poison Point, Rivalry, Hustle Hit By: Used: Leer, Poison Sting Health: High Green |

The Elekid turned at the sound of a battle cry. At first, he was confused, but then he understood when he saw the Nidorino. He smirked. So, he wanted to battle? He could take him! He shivered at the leer. No matter his instincts that caused him to shiver, he could still take him! When he saw the poison needles coming towards him, he ran as fast as he could to the left in order to avoid them. Some of them struck him, though, but he continued on without showing any fear or pain. "That's all you've got?" he taunted the Nidorino. He gave him a leer of his own sending a Thunder Shock his way. Dokuton shut his eyes as the lightning struck his body. He dug his toes into the ground as he let the electricity course through his body. He shook his head as it dispersed. He then leered forth again in order to decrease the electric pokemon's attack even further. He snorted as he stomped the ground his horn beginning to glow as he prepared himself for another poison sting attack. He lowered his head aiming his horn carefully before he released a volley of poison needles. The Elekid smirked in pleasure when his Thunder Shock worked. He just had to continue fighting back and then little by little he would win. He just had to make sure not to get hit. He could handle that. When the Nidorino began stomping and gave him a leer, he knew what was going to come next. He wasn't going to get caught this time! As there was a tree beside him, he jumped up and grabbed a hold of a low branch. Before the poison needles could get to him, he swung his legs until he flew up and landed on his feet on the branch. <Ha! You missed!> he taunted. He carefully balanced himself as he shot the Nidorino a sharp leer. He aimed his arm at him and used Swift after that, figuring it was a better strategy to remain on the branch for a little bit. Dokuton lowered his head allowing the swift to strike his spiked back. He looked up and dished out with another leer. This Elekid was going to go down no matter what. His horn began to glow as he aimed it towards the electric type as he stood on the branch. Even if he was up high he could still get him all he head to do was bring him down. He grinned as he released a volley of poison needles. The needles sailed through the air half aimed towards the Elekid half aimed towards destroying the branch it stood upon. He would just have to ensure he destroyed everything the Elekid could use to stay out of range of his close range attacks. The Elekid should have thought more about this. For one thing, it was super windy because of the storm, which resulted in the tree (and therefore tree branch) swaying dangerously. For another, poison sting could still reach him and possibly destroy the tree branch. He did not let this worry show, though. He remained strong and determined to win. He attempted to dance around the needles but was mostly unsuccessful. Though the needles also attacked the branch, which broke it, he was glad for it because that meant he didn't get the full blow of the attack.
He jumped off as soon as the cracking was heard and landed on his feet on the ground. The poison sting hurt, but he shook it off as best he could. <Hah!> he sneered. <You fell right into my trap!> That being attacking the tree as well as him so that he was not as harmed as he would have been... He laughed as he narrowed his eyes, giving the Nidorino a leer, before using Thunder Shock again. Dokuton sneered as the thunder shock came crashing down upon him. His entire body lit up like a christmas tree as electricity coursed through his body. He shook his body shaking the attack off and leered forth at the electric type pokemon in order to lower its defence yet again. His horn began to glow as he lowered it not bothering to retort to anything the Elekid said. His horn glowed as a barrage of poison needles were released. The needles sailed through the air towards the Elekid with the intent of hitting him dead on. Dokuton wanted to get this finished as quickly as possible. The more Pokemon he beat the stronger he would become. <Enough with that Poison Sting!> the Elekid shouted at his opponent. Did he not have any other moves. He had to admit it was a pretty powerful move, and there was always a chance he could get poisoned by it, but still. This was getting annoying. He would not let himself be defeated, though! He shivered at the leer, but he would not let it stop him from dodging. However, he was tired enough as it is, even though he would never admit it, and he was not quick enough in his attempt to avoid those poisonous needles. <No!> he cried as he was struck. This time, he was forced down on his back from the impact. He felt immense pain course through his body as he lay there, and he knew he had been badly poisoned. He could not get up to get in one last attack. As he began to lose consciousness, he kept his determined battle face on. He would still not admit defeat.

Nidorino grinned as the Elekid was struck once more by his poison sting. He gave a strange like howl as he stomped the ground in his victory. He glanced back at his trainer and indicated his head towards the electric pokemon. Kagirinai removed a pokeball from his lab coat and enlarged the device till it was the size of his hand. He aimed the sphere and stepped forward moving his arm in a windmill blade like motion and threw it over his shoulder. The sphere flew dead straight towards the electric type. Kagirinai had factored in the wind speeds around from the tornado nearby in order for his pokeball to keep on its course and hit the Elekid to begin its capture. The Elekid was sucked into the Pokeball once it was struck by it. After a moment of wobbling, the Pokeball settled down and stilled. You captured an Elekid!

Kagirinai crouched down to pick the pokeball up before placing it into his lab coat's right pocket. He removed a potion from his sleeve and sprayed Dokuton's wounds. He nodded to Dokuton as he began his journey deeper into the forest. He wanted to find more pokemon to defeat and capture in order to increase the strength of his Nidorino and his Tauros. He would capture every pokemon he saw along the way in order to sell those he didn't want to keep for himself in order to boost his income. The more money he had the better. Money would allow him to conduct experiments and buy equipment for his growing laboratory as well as stationery for jotting down notes and his thesis along the way. He tucked his left hand into his left lab coat pocket using his right to push debris out of the way as he continued into the forest ignoring the tornado. Dokuton followed after patting along the ground quickly after his trainer. He stood directly beside Kagirinai ready to jump into action at the fist sign of battle. He wanted to get stronger so that when the time came for him to evolve into a Nidoking his strength would be unrivalled. Normally, Dawn was pretty chipper. She wasn’t typically angry, brash, or aggressive. Okay, sometimes she was brash and aggressive, but it wasn’t like she had this whole persona of “rage machine” going on. She was either perky, a bit dejected, or pissy. Dawn Berlitz was never, ever flat out angry.
And, yet…
’It’s my red star. Steal it. It’s my red star. Can’t let go.’ The Birthday Massacre wasn’t her typical choice of band. They had a cute lead and their general theme was gruesome-precious, but whenever Dawn was feeling particularly angry and pulled out whatever black she owned in her closet, it did the job well enough.
Wearing a suddenly familiar red jacket over a white tank top and denim shorts with her typical pink boots, Dawn didn’t really care that she was breaking a lot of fashion codes today. If she was able to, she’d fight about it.
Perhaps sensing that her trainer wasn’t in the mood to be trifled with right now, Psyche the skitty bound ahead through the foliage. Normally, Dawn was five different kinds of against going out in this type of weather. But, as the pink kitten spotted the tall stranger and his poison type, Psyche realized Dawn wasn’t the only maniac out in this weather. Mewling to get her trainer’s attention, Psyche bound after the other duo.
Dawn merely picked up the pace, looking a bit peeved.

Kagirinai stepped out of the foliage pushing a branch to the side. The wind picked up around him making his lab coat flicker in the wind around him. The lab coat flew up revealing his clothes beneath. He pushed the coat down as his hands tucked deeper into the pockets. The tornado was getting alot more fierce as debris flew over head. He pushed his glasses up as he brought his arm up to deflect a piece of tree branch sending it flying over his head in order to avoid a collision with the piece of debris.
Nidorino trotted along before coming a halt and sniffed the air detecting two new scents in the air. He looked around before turning his head to the left and made a soft howl like roar as he pointed his horn in that direction. He looked at Kagirinai and indicated his head as if telling his trainer to head in that direction. Kagirinai raised an eyebrow but followed after the poison pokemon as it ran on ahead.
Nidorino charged through the foliage as a visage of pink came into his vision before it took the shape of a cat like pokemon skitty. The larger pokemon came to a halt skidded across the ground as it stood five feet away from the two new comers. He howled slightly towards them as he stomped the ground with his right leg a fire burning in his eyes as he stared at them. Kagirinai followed behind keeping his hands in his pockets as he analysed the two before him. A girl in her teen years rather short with a petite figure, low muscle mass, pale skin and long blue locks of hair with blue eyes. He attire was simply a white tank top, denim shorts, pink boots and a red jacket. He took note that it seemed as if a soft breeze could knock her off her feet.
Wind blew by brushing against Kagirinai's baggy black Hakama pants as his lab coat fluttered up behind him showing his white kimono top. He stared towards the girl with an inquisitive eye studying her carefully. His eyes trailed up and down her body not in a perverted manner but a more astute as he was clearly taking in her appearance his eyes one of study not of a perverse sense. He pushed his glasses up and spoke softly, "Yare yare, I had not expected to meet someone else in these conditions" spoke Kagirinai.
