A fourteen-year-old girl of four feet and ten inches, she weighs ninety-five pounds. She is petite, a miniature of her mother with a wide hips. One day, she will fill out in full and become just as lovely as the rest of the women in her family. Her muscle mass is low, but is trying to change this through swimming and dancing. Her stamina is low.
Born to a Japanese mother and a Germanic Jewish father, though she never met him, Dawn has pale skin. Her natural hair is thick and curly, difficult to deal with. She straightens her long blue locks. She has a delicate looking face, big blue eyes prominent. “Don’t want cash. Don’t want car.” “Want it fast. Want it hard.” “Don’t need money. Don’t need fame.” Personality:"No need to worry!" A confident young girl, Dawn is a perfectionist known for testing and breaking limits. She has high self esteem, leading her to be open to others emotionally, at least unless it concerns things she doesn't think are possible, which are far and few between. She is proud of herself, eager to interact with people and show off. It goes without saying that, if someone is going to wear something bold and flash in front of a crowd, it's probably Dawn. An artist, Dawn has two mediums she expresses herself through. First is her poetry, which she rarely shares with anyone. However, her fashionable side she happily shares. She's a beginning seamstress, but typically puts together outfits and upgrades accessories. Because she is a perfectionist and has such a high opinion of herself, whenever she messes up, Dawn gets very discouraged. She firmly believes she should be able to do anything she puts her mind to. Because she dislikes getting her feelings hurt, she has taken on a cynical yet idealistic mindset. She expects the worst to happen, but she's hoping for the best. That being said, Dawn still tends to be over eager, reckless, and almost always acts on her whims. It goes without saying that such a prideful girl is a bit vain. Sanguine in temperament, Dawn finds herself drifting between hte neutral evil and the neutral good alignments. She admires Samuel Oak and her mother Johanna Berlitz. She wants to become a top coordinator and then a pokemon stylist after she graduates. Fun facts! Dawn speaks only English fluently, but she can spout phrases from Yiddish, Hebrew, Japanese, and German, though the last two are almost exclusively made up of cuss words and insults. She's not very religious beyond occasional prayers and superstitions, but she's Shintoist and Judiast. |

Hometown: Twinleaf Town, SinnohDawn Berlitz was born and raised in Twinleaf Town, Sinnoh. Her mother Johanna was a retired coordinator, formerly a Top Coordinator. The young girl spent her days exploring the local woods and occasioning visiting Lake Verity. She was a very happy child and gained an interest in pokemon early on as she was charmed by her mother’s umbreon and glameow. Her two childhood best friends were Kenny and Leona. The trio went to school together. The duo also witnessed the incident which would lead to Dawn’s phobia of plusle and minun and general aversion to electric types. The “Diamond Dandruff” accident earned her the nickname Dee Dee, which she hates with a passion, and in part led her to desire to look presentable and cute at all times so as to avoid being mocked again. Just before her tenth birthday, Dawn and a few friends went to a festival in Twinleaf Town. There, she saw the most odd thing! A boy and an exploud were having a duet, and the boy was almost on par with the sheer volume of the exploud! The occasion burned into her memory. The singing got her to look into other pokemon-human based art. That was how she came upon Professor Samuel Oak’s poetry. Her addiction to his writing was instantaneous. She keeps at least one anthology of his works on her person as long as she has something to carry it in. She was already a very head-in-clouds girl, but the poetry addiction led her to take on a classical romantic air. The world was wonderful and art reflected such! And, if she wasn’t already going to be a coordinator through her mother’s urging, then that would have been the final push. When she was accepted into Cherilli Academy, she decided right then and there that she would be the very best coordinator the world had ever seen!  Psyche the female skitty. She's a normal type with the cute charm, normalize, and wonder skin abilities. She is level 7 and she knows fake out, growl, tail whip, tackle, foresight, and fake tears (egg move). She enjoys grooming herself and wearing pretty accessories. She adores rhythm and melody. She wants to leave a memorable legacy.  Marco the male vulpix. He's a fire type with the flash fire and drought abilities. He is level 8 and he knows ember, tail whip, and roar. He's a country boy. He enjoys western music and herbs. He's lazy, cocky, and charismatic. He's quick to brawl and gluttonous.  Mormo the male pumpkaboo. He's a ghost/grass type with the pickup, frisk, and insomnia abilities. He is level 15 and knows trick, astonish, confuse ray, scary face, trick-or-treat, and worry seed. He is not a very scary ghost. He does not like it when people run away from him in fear. He likes playing with others, and he gets restless when he is alone for too long. He easily becomes attached to others. He is serious in battle, though he is easily distracted, and he always tries his best.  Locke the male bunnelby. He's a normal type with the huge power, pickup, and cheek pouch abilities. He is level 6 and knows leer, agility, and tackle. A funny guy. He idolizes Bugs Bunnelby. Dreams of going on stage as a stand up comedian rather than being a real battler. If one can put up with his constant pop culture references and insistence on making up puns on the fly, they find he’s very quick on his feet and makes a decent battler.
