Dawn grinned at the mention of Rae’s name. She nodded. ”Yup!” The blue haired girl crossed her arms, considering the stranger’s question. ”He’s got this habit of getting lost, I think, so he might not show up.” No need to worry, though, right? He just had a debatable sense of direction; he wasn’t this huge idiot or anything. He was probably a-okay, not getting stuck fighting anything scary or dangerous.
Hm, it probably wouldn’t hurt if the two waited on him. Besides, she could get to know this girl better that way. A friend of a friend was a friend, right? At least, she assumed this girl and Rae were friends. Why else would she be looking for him? Dawn didn’t really think the girl looked like the type to so calmly seek out someone she wasn’t on good terms with. ”We can probably sit at the end of the bleaches and save a spot for him if he shows up. I’m Dawn, by the way. Who’re you?” Idly, she made a mental note. The whole leather-and-studs look would never work on her petite frame, but the stranger made the rocker-esque look work very nicely. Had she ever been a model?

Ooc: Couldn't think of anything to say, as I think they are both in mod post, yes? So he'll chellenge later. also I think I over did it with him in the last reply.) Walter just rolled his eyes at the kid's comeback. "Where? I don't see no man? Just a little pipsqueak in glasses insulting Pokemon." The teen barked back as he picked up Kitten and stood up. "Real trainers don't act like a little kid either and degrade Pokemon to baby talk." With that he smirked and turned. Moving seats he sat down closer to some other kid. A girl named Saywer, but he didn't know her name. "Hey." He said politely to her as he placed Kitten the Vulpix in his lap.

"You do?! Great!" Jen said. She hadn't found Rae yet but at least she had found someone who knew him. She smiled and looked at the girl standing in front of her. She mentioned that Rae had a habit of getting lost and Jen nodded. There was no need to worry. If he was on his way he would probably arrive soon. In the meantime she decided it would be fun to get to know one of Rae's friends! At least, Jen hoped she was just a friend. "That's a great idea!" Jen said when the girl suggested they sit together and wait for him. "Oh--my name's Jennifer Rose, but you can call me Jen!" She said with a smile. "You have a very pretty name, Dawn." Jen made her way to the end of the bleachers and sat down. She looked at Dawn and was glad that someone had approached her and said hello. If not she would still be standing around feeling awkward as she searched for Rae. "By the way, I love your hair!"

Zoey was not a fan of school assemblies; there were too many people around. She was interested in what Principal Sash wanted to say to them, though. Her Chimchar, Waffles, who happily rode on her shoulder as she entered the gym loved to be around lots of people. She had chosen to bring him because of that. He didn't jump off to explore, though, but remained where he was, which she was grateful for. Now, where should they sit? She looked around as she walked towards the bleachers, hoping not to be stuck in the middle of everyone. That was the good thing about not being early; you could just sit on an edge.
Waffles seemed to be pointing somewhere, and she smiled when she saw that he had found them a spot. "Good eye," she said to him as she made her way over to the bleachers that were closer to where Principal Sash would be speaking. She walked up a few steps and sat down on the edge. There were some students near her, and she would give them a friendly smile if they looked at her but otherwise she looked up on stage as she waited for the assembly to start. When she saw a small Pokemon run across with a peanut butter jar on its head, she couldn't help but smile really big at how funny and adorable it was. She felt bad for the trainer when Mr. Turner called him or her down, though.

Paul entered the gym without any Pokemon, his hands in his pockets. He wasn't exactly thrilled about this whole ordeal. He would rather spend the time doing something useful like training his Pokemon; he would have less time to do so once classes started. Coming to this school was really a decision that would help him get a jump start on getting stronger. Was this assembly going to help him in any way? It didn't seem so at the moment, but it would probably provide him with some important information, so he would listen. He just wasn't excited about it. Not caring where he sat, he chose a random spot among the bleachers and sat down. He hoped this would not last long.

As mr, Turner spotted the Plusle and then picked it up, Peanut wiggled and yelled like he was being hurt. That made Angelica very worried, but what made her shake in her seat was when mr. Turner called for the pokemon's trainer to come up there. Oh how embarrassed she was and her face turned bright red. Sighing she figured it was best not to make the man wait much longest and so she quickly got up and went to him. "I am so sorry sir. I was studying and he just disappeared." She said in a quiet ashamed voice. Looking as through she was about to start crying as she stood there looking at the man and then down at her feet.

Catching up to the foreign pokemon Shun noticed it turn around to face him. Okay, time to begin! Him and Blint would stop just ten feet from their opponent. Shun looked the armored pokemon in the eyes with his own full of determination. Blint, you ready bro? Lets show him what we got. He said without taking his eyes off their target. Likewise, Blint nodded in agreement as he flared his flame showcasing his strength. The opponent looked really strong so there was a need for him to get a little pumped and raise his and Blint's confidence. Alright. Lets do this, go Blint use Flame Bur- He started before he was cut off by some guy's yelling about a monster of some sort. Him and Blint both turned around to see just who had just interrupted their pokemon battle before it had already started. It kinda annoyed him to be honest. Which showed on Shun's face as he looked the newcomer over. He was in a hoodie and jeans that was covered in tears and holes. Which turned his annoyed feeling into one of curiosity. What happened to this guy? Is he sane? Wait, before any of that who is he?

Yami yawned softly as he made his way from the Hoenn dorms towards the gym for a school assembly. In his right hand was a cup of coffee. He had just finished showering and eating after his normal early morning swim being up since 5am. He had gone with his casual wear of a black kimono like shirt with sleeves longer than his arms with an added six inches with white trims at the end of his sleeves. Beneath his kimono sleeves his hands were covered by white tekko a style of glove. His lower half he wore white Hakama styled pants with baggy leggings for easy manoeuvrability. Around his waist h wore a dark purple Kaku Obi sash that had held his pokeballs his bagon on the right, vulpix on the left and spares at the back. Beneath his Hakama leggings he wore Kyahan shin leggings. He wore black styled tabi socks and straw rope Waraji. Hanging off his shoulders was a long flowing purple Haori that reached his ankles.
Yami walked into the gym sipping on his drink, he took brief note of the students inside. The first thing he noticed was the noise and it was getting on his nerves, oh how he hated noise. he had grown accustom to enjoying silence over the years. Yami yawned softly and pushed past one of the students saying a soft excuse me and headed towards the bleachers. He decided to simply ignore the others and keep to himself instead. He moved to one of the bleachers walking behind it and leaned against the frame crossing his arms over his chest. He sipped his coffee in silence letting himself wander into his thoughts.
He had come to the academy to become a trainer but did he also want to make friends? While he had been popular at his private school that was only due to his looks, grades and for being captain of the swim team. Now that he thought about it his school mates hadn't cared for who he was only because of his swimming ability. He had acquaintances on the swim team but none of them were his friends at all, being that his grandparents had kept him incredibly busy with a strict schedule he never had the chance to make friends at all or even socialise. Here though he had the chance to make friends with his school mates. H know longer was under the strict regime of his grandparents meaning he ad the opportunity to do as he pleased now.
His left hand fell to his vulpix pokebal or Amaterasu no Mikoto as he called her or Amaterasu for short. His fingers glided over her contained sphere before he placed his coffee down on the ground beside him to touch the sphere containing Seiryuu his Bagon. He had two trusty companions and he was thankful for that, perhaps he could become good friends with his pokemon. He hadn't had much interaction with humans so he was unsure of just how to interact with them, he was a black belt in martial arts but a white belt in social skills. He sighed softly and picked his coffee up sipping it softly giving a contented sigh.

December Smoon { a fire in winter }************************************************She was hurrying to get the to gym with everyone else, but as December moved she found herself being shoved around and out of the way of others. She had even be pushed to the ground and her glasses knocked off. Yet she quickly found them and got up onto her feet. Bushing herself off the young teen hugged her white sweater closer to her as the wind began to pick up. So she took that as a sign to hurry along and get to the gym. Now, Ember didn't mind these sorts of things. As long as she could just sit there and listen and no one bother her, or try to get her to sit with them so that they could chat up a storm with her. So as she entered she looked around and spotted a seat at the end of one of the bleachers and sat there. She was near the bottom, but still a few rows up, and as she sat there she unzipped her sweater, her purple shirt showing as she rubbed her hands across her dark blue jeans and waited for everyone to shut up and for this thing to start.

Rae's face grew suddenly flushed and pale as the boy in the red, black and white windbreaker looked directly back at him. "S@#t!" he exclaimed, quickly trying to duck back behind the wall. Had Rae accidentally said those things about the monster aloud? He hadn't thought so... he had merely thought them in his head, right? Peeking back out slightly, Rae saw that the kid was still staring right back at him and so was his little fiery Pokemon. "Crap, maybe I really did blurt that stuff out loud..." he thought, or eh... spoke aloud. Shaking his head, Rae decided none of that mattered now. He was still immersed in his role of detective and sheriff and as far as he was concerned, this kid was the big boss outlaw he had been assigned to take down! The weird-lookin' boney creature he had been following before was there too, but plans had changed. Rae would have to deal with it, after he finished with the boy! Quickly, Rae peeked back over his shoulder, hoping to see that his deputy in the orange hat had come with him for back up. Unfortunately, the Randy kid was nowhere to be seen and Rae turned back around with a sigh. It looked like the sheriff would have to go it alone on this one! Tugging on the front of his sweatshirt hood as though it were his cowboy hat, Rae pulled it downward slightly and finally stepped forth into the open. The breeze picked up and a single tumble weed blew between he and the kid. Rae's right hand twitched subtly near his hip, as though he were some old, wild west gunslinger, getting ready for a draw. This was it, the moment of truth. Would the sheriff be able to take down the ruthless outlaw, or would the sheriff fall and the outlaw's reign of terror continue?! "The jig is up kid! Give up now and nobody else gets hurt!" Announced Rae, mixing his genre-lingo between the 1870s and 1950s. He squinted his eyes, keeping careful watch over the kid and preparing himself for an all out battle to the death! Clearly, Rae was delusional. But, nevertheless, he was here on a mission and it seemed that with the wheels already in motion, there was no stopping the train. Eying the Pokemon at the boy's side, the pierced-smoker turned gumshoe-sheriff noted the fire. His fingers danced delicately through the air, moving ever so slowly toward the pokeball on his right hip that held the little blue dude. "Time's up!" he shouted. Suddenly, the bell tolled within his mind and he drew his pokeball. Flicking his wrist, he cast the sphere forth at lightning speed and as the ball ripped open, his little blue pal came bursting forth in a brilliant flash of light. The froakie gave a powerful growl as it arrived on the scene and immediately took a battle stance, as it locked eyes with its opponent. Maya the Vulpix slipped inside the school when a student opened the door. Her trainer was off at the pond saving a group of Poliwag from a vicious Electabuzz. Maya knew Sash was going to be late, but that did not seem to matter. She had sent the Vulpix to let Turner know that she would be arriving shortly. Like that would sooth him. His fur always seemed to be ruffled for one reason or another. Maya turned down a hallway and stopped upon entering a strange seen. Turner's Pokemon, Spike, was standing there, and she was happy to see him. But there was also a Cyndaquil, Froakie, and two trainers. Weren't they all supposed to be at the gym? <What's going on?> she asked as she padded over to Spike

Rameses was a bit puzzled as to how it all went down, but he was now the witness of a Pokemon battle. It had been the first time in a long time that he had seen a battle take between two trainers live, so he was excited. Moving out of the range of any possible incoming attacks, the trainer looked alive. He didn't know anything about the newcomer or either of the Pokemon called forth so he took out his Pokedex and scanned both species.
"Froakie, the frog Pokemon. From the Kalos region. It secretes flexible bubbles from its chest and back. The bubbles reduce the damage it would otherwise take when attacked."
"Cyndaquil, the flame mole Pokemon. It has a timid nature. If it is startled, the flames on its back burn more vigorously."
Rameses nodded as he thought it over. Both trainers had pretty cool Pokemon. It did appear that Rae's Froakie had the typing advantage in this situation. Hopefully that other kid knew what he had gotten himself into. While he did not the know the newcomer, he still hoped for a decent battle. Still, knowing Rae, he had to root for him.
"Alright Rae, win this one!"

Yami blinked as he heard soft footsteps almost silent heading towards the bleachers he was behind. He glanced out of his right eye looking in the direction spotting a young teen in a white sweater and dark blue jeans heading towards the bleachers. She seemed to be the type who preferred to be left alone in cases like this. He watched from the corner of his eye as she walked towards the bleacher heading a few rows up but still rather close to the bottom and sat there waiting for everyone else to come. The tall male almost in his twenties yawned softly and pushed off the bleacher standing up no longer leaning on it and sipped his cup of coffee before making his way around the bleacher his height easily reaching around close to the top of the bleachers give or take a few row. Yami used his left hand to brush his white Hakama pants off. He yawned softly hand over his mouth as a polite gesture.
The dark haired bishounen teen cracked his neck as he moved to the bleacher deciding he might as well sit either at the top of the bottom unsure. He turned so he was facing the bleacher left hand in his pocket and began to scrutinise them for his location of where to sit the girl in his vision as he thought carefully. He sipped his coffee and decided sitting up the back row was probably the best way to avoid being spoken to. He placed his right foot on the first row and stepped up and began the slow careful trek up the rows. As he steped onto the row the girl in the white sweeter and identified purple shirt beneath was sitting he stared at her momentarily and bowed for a short greeting, "Salutations pleasure to meet thee. My name is Hateshinginai, Yami" he spoke softly in a noble and charming tone.
His grandmother had drilled into his head that it was always polite to introduce yourself to someone regardless if you were going to talk to them or not especially at a school. He straightened his posture leaving the bow, sipping his coffee and made the walk up to the top row leaving the girl be his long purple Haori fluttered behind him. Yami sat down at the top of the bleacher leaning forward lightly left arm resting on his left leg, his right elbow resting on his right thigh as he sipped softly on his coffee. The right sphere on his belt opened as a beam of red light shot out landing beside him taking the shape of the small blue bipedal dragon type Bagon. The small dragon looked at Yami with an inquisitive eye. Yami reached into his pocket pulling out a small box of chocolate pocky and handed one to the dragon who munched on it happily as he sat down beside his partner.

This somehow had turned into a stare down between himself and the stranger in the hoodie. Something that made the situation call for Shun to be even more suspicious of the dude. With a raised eyebrow he watched as the guy walked closer before halting. Was he lost or something? Did he need directions? Or. Maybe he was after the pokemon he wanted to catch! If that was the case there was no way he would back down. He got to it first anyway. A nice breeze had moved through the area, catching a single tumbleweed as it passed through. Wait. Where the heck did that thing come from? He thought as he eyed it closely when it passed. Soon he returned his focus back to the hooded guy. Yo, who are you? It was only natural to ask someone for their name. As soon as he did just that the guy had started yelling about something. Huh...What is a jig? Also, what do you mean "nobody gets hurt"? So he is after that pokemon. By his words, he sounds like some criminal. This guy must be one of those poacher guys that catch and steal pokemon, then sell them to the highest bitter as if they were nothing but items. Kind of hypocritical, considering Shun was already in a gang that dealt in criminal activities but he never treated pokemon in that kind of way. He despised poachers. Clenching his fists, Shun's eyes despite their blazing hue of crimson became frigid and chilled like the wind that blew here. Soon the guy threw out a pokeball which released a small, blue frog pokemon. The growl it emitted was that of croaking more than growling. Blint...lets go. He'd say as he stared at his opponent. I'll show you why I am nicknamed Wrath. The little fire mouse understood perfectly, taking a deep breath before leaning forward swiftly to release a ball of fire skyward above froakie, which burst into streams of flames headed to incinerate their target from above. Turner stepped away from the podium so whatever he said next would only be heard by Angelica. She really did not look or appear to be a troublemaker, just a lost trainer. He sighed, knowing he could not punish her. That was reserved for those who made a nuisance and gave the school a bad image. Plus, she did not talk back or say anything to upset him. "Just take him and keep control of him," he said sternly, handing him to her. She better not start crying. It would not be good if she did that. He did not like it when people did that, especially when they were around him.
Spike took a battle stance and waited for the trainer to call his first move. He blinked in confusion when he abruptly stopped and looked ahead, behind the Lairon. Slowly, he turned around as well and saw that it was another trainer, and he had a Froakie with him. <Hello!> he greeted them with a smile. He frowned when the trainer spoke with hostile, challenging words. Oh, no. It looked like the two of them were going to battle. But why? <Maya!> he exclaimed when he saw her, his face lighting up. <I've been looking all over for you and Sash!> Her question then distracted him. <Oh. Uh... I think they're battling? I'm not sure why, though. I thought the trainer with the Cyndaquil was going to battle with me.> He shrugged his bony, steel shoulders. Maybe this would be entertaining, no matter if he was confused as to why they were doing it.
