A group of four Litwick heard ruckus coming form the main floor of the mansion. They decided to investigate it since not many people visited them. Flickering lights soon entered the room, giving light to the ball. They whispered excitedly to each other in their corner. It was time to have some fun! The four of them spread out through the room. There was one Litwick in the middle of each wall. They stood still, their lights flickering.
x4 OOC: In this adventure, you will have a chance to capture a Litwick but only one per member, please!

Zoey was not sure why she had decided to go to the Halloween ball. Sure, it sounded fun, but she did not like parties or large social events. However, once Flower had found out about it, there was no way to say 'no' to her. She assumed she probably wanted to make some Pokemon friends. She was always happy to go to class because she could be around other Pokemon; she was a very friendly Pokemon. That's why it was a wonder as to why she could not get along with her Chimchar, Waffles. Oh, well. She was still working on that.
Zoey stepped into the haunted house cautiously. She had heard it was a pretty scary place, so she had not dared enter before. It was a shame because she really liked Ghost Pokemon. In order for Flower to be able to come, Zoey had to dress up like her, so she had done her best to make a costume that resembled the Mudkip. She was blue, so she figured blue jeans and a blue sweatshirt was sufficient. She was not very good as creating costumes, so she thought it would be fine to just use the clothes she had. She was wearing her hood, and on the top she had sown a fin like material. She had also sown orange fin-like material on each side of the hood. There was a fin in the back on the bottom of her sweatshirt too. It was the best she could do.
The Mudkip girl looked around as she walked into the house. There was a lot of people there. Not very much eager to be swallowed up by the crowd, she kept to the wall. She would observe for the moment. Before long, Flower would certainly get her to go dance. "Cool, a candle," she said to Flower when she noticed the Litwick. Flower looked at it curiously. Zoey wondered if it was supposed to be there for lighting or if it was just there for fun. It looked pretty cool. It was a candle! "Hello, there," she greeted it with a smile. Maybe she could become its friend.

Kiki noticed the two Pokemon by the food table. "Hi," she greeted them. Their trainers must have been off dancing. She grabbed a plate and started to fill it with food. Then she walked over to the wall and leaned against it to eat. It did not take long for her to notice a flickering light near her. She turned to see a Litwick just standing there all alone. Was this a student's Pokemon too? He did not seem to be doing anything in particular. "Are you lost, little guy?" she said in concern.
<My name's Cody!> the little Lillipup said. <Do you want to be friends?> He loved making friends almost as much as he loved food!

Gary glanced at Sawyer when she introduced the two of them. "It's nice to meet you." Those were pretty names. They sounded kind of familiar, and he wondered if they were in any of is classes. He supposed he would find out soon. He turned back to Faith and waited for her answer. He smiled broadly when she agreed. "Great." It really was too bad that his costume hid his expression, but he supposed that made him all the more mysterious. He too hold of her hand and led her onto the dance floor. He then let go of her hand and started dancing to the fast song that was playing. They were still the only ones there, but hopefully everyone would follow their lead and get to dancing. That was what a ball was all about, after all!
<Yeah, I think they'll be fine,> Goomy said as he watched his trainer go onto the dance floor. He turned to Watcher. <Let's go.>

Faith followed Gary onto the dance floor. This was so exciting! She had never danced at a real ball before. She started dancing when he did. She let her thoughts flow away as she got lost in the music and the movements in her body. "This is fun," she commented after several minutes.
<Hi, Cody,> Willy said. Friends? He liked making friends, and the Lillipup seemed nice. <Sure. We can be friends. We were just about to eat.>

The Litwick near Zoey stared up at her with big eyes. <Hello. I am not a candle. I am a ghost. Boooo!> He waved his little body around, imitating the stereotype of a ghost. He stared at the Mudkip. <Hello, land fish.> He had never seen such strange creatures. He wondered if their life forces tasted good.
The Litwick by Kiki gave her a small smile. <Hello. I'm not lost. I just came out here to enjoy these people. They all seem to be having a good time!> And maybe she could take some of their energy away. She was hungry! There was food on a table nearby, but it did not smell too good.

Zoey watched the candle curiously. She wished she knew what he was saying. He looked like a ghost Pokemon, but she was not sure what the name was. She reached into her pocket and took out her Pokedex. "Litwick. The candle Pokemon. Litwick shines a light that absorbs the life energy of people and Pokémon, which becomes the fuel that it burns." Zoey blinked, her eyes widening. What? "You wouldn't really do that, would you?" she said to the Litwick. She really wanted to be his friend. How could she if he sucked the life energy out of her? That was pretty creepy!
Flower looked at the candle Pokemon suspiciously as it interacted with her trainer. <Hello, candle...> she said cautiously. She did not like what the Pokedex said about this Pokemon. It was a threat! She narrowed her eyes at it. <Don't you dare do anything...> she said coolly.

Kiki could not understand what the Litwick said to her. It probably did not belong to anyone, and it did not seem to be causing any trouble, so she decided to stay near it for awhile. "Mind if I hang out with you?" she said. Without waiting for a response, she leaned her back against the wall and looked out at the dance floor. "They seem to be having fun." She recognized a few people, but she had not gone over to them because they appeared busy. Maybe she would talk to them later. For now, she was content keeping company with this Litwick.
Cody smiled when Willy said they could be friends. He loved making friends! <I was going to eat too. Let's eat together!> That was what friends did, right? They shared meals.

Sawyer watched as her friend walked off with Gary. From what she could tell, the two of them would get along great. They both seemed very confident. Confident enough to dance with a stranger. Nate, on the other hand, seemed reluctant like her. Maybe that meant they would get along as well. "They look like they're having fun," she commented. She paused, suddenly feeling awkward. She then decided to just go for it, knowing her red-haired friend would bug her later if she didn't. "Maybe we should give dancing a try." She spoke casually and looked away when she was finished.
Kopa nodded at the puppy. <Yeah, we can eat together.> It seemed like that would be more fun than eating alone. He looked up at the table again. <What should we get?>

Nate was impressed with the way Gary was able to ask a stranger to dance. Then again, it was kind of anonymous because of the costumes. Still, he did not seem to worry about anything. The girl seemed pretty confident as well. He watched as they started dancing together. They did look like they were having fun, and it did not seem too difficult. He glanced at Sawyer when she spoke and nodded. "Yeah." He paused. She seemed pretty nice. Maybe they could give it a shot. He was glad she had taken the pressure of of him. "That's a good idea. Let's go dance." He turned to lead her onto the dance floor.
Watcher smiled and started to run over to the food table. It looked like there were already quite a few Pokemon there. It was a party!

Gary enjoyed dancing. Back at Pallet Town, he had attended the few dances the city put on. They were always quite fun. It was nice to be able to dance with some new people here at the academy. "It is," he said in agreement. He then remembered the moves his grandfather had taught them. He decided to try some of them out. "Would you like to do some spins?" He held his hand out to her invitingly.
Tornado struggled to keep up with the fast Eevee. <Hey, wait up!> He was panting by the time he reached the table. The other Pokemon around there caught his attention. <Hello.>

Faith blinked when Gary suddenly spoke to her. Spins? She had not been planning on doing much besides dancing in place. That did sound kind of fun though. Being the adventurous girl she was, she decided to give it a try. "Sure." She took hold of his hand and waited to see what would happen. She hoped Sawyer was having fun. She better be dancing...
Willy looked around at all the food. He found a stool and used it to climb up so he was level with the table. <This Pokemon food smells good.> He eyed the bowl before his nose.

Zoey's Litwick blinked when he heard the Pokedex description. Heym why was that thing giving away all of his trade secrets? That was not very nice. <Of course I would,> he huffed. <How else do you think I live?> He narrowed his eyes at the Mudkip. He did not like her. <Be quiet, land fish. My flame is very important to me. Besides, these dancers are giving off so much energy that they won't miss a little bit.> It seemed perfectly reasonable to him.
Kiki's Litiwck gave her a small smile. <of course not,> she said. <I like hanging out with friends.> Under her friendly exterior, she held in a devious smirk. This was just what she needed. Once this girl let her guard down, she could suck the life energy from her, and she would never know what happened! Then she could move onto the other delivious students. There were enough for all four of the Litwick. She was such a genius!

Kiki could not understand what the Litiwck was saying, but it sounded like she was consenting. She would have run away or attacked hr if there was a problem. "Thanks," she said with a slight smile. She watched Cody at the food table. He seemed like he was making friends. At least one of them was having a great time. She was not doing too bad, but she wished something more exciting would happen. She wondered if that was why the Litwick was against the wall as well.
Cody wagged his tail upon hearing about the good food. <Get some for all of his!> He turned when he heard someone else speak. <Hi.> He stared at the Goomy and Eevee.

Sawyer gave Nate a small smile. She was glad that there was not a slow song playing. Now that would be awkward. Fast dancing with a gy, though, actually might be fun. At least he seemed like a nice guy. Perhaps they could be friends after this. "Alright." She followed him onto the dance floor, stopping far from Faith and Nate. She hoped that four people dancing now would induce others to join them so she would feel better. It was always hard to be the first ones dancing. She started moving to the music without looking at the boy.
Kopa turned to look at the new arrivals. They seemed friendly to him. <Hello. I'm Kopa. This is Cody and Willy.>
