Gary listened to his friends before nodding. Battling sounded like a good idea. He just hoped this did nto get out of hand. How dare those Litwick attempt to ruin a perfectly good ball! It did not look like anyone else wanted to talk or dance, so he turned and watched the battled progress. The trainers really needed to win this soon so they could all get back to what was really important.
Tornado watched the battles warily. He hoped those Litwick wouldn't come after him next! |

(OOC Since its almost Halloween again why don't you make another thing like this Sash I even made a sprite of Hikage in a Sandile costume(  ) so Loey could come along! ^-^ plus the last 2 halloweens ive had irl i didnt do anything for so this would make it seem like i actually did something for Halloween this year. It used to be my 3rd favorite holiday after Christmas and Thanksgiving (thanksgiving because my birthday sometimes falls on Thanksgiving)  ) |

Arriving late, Rika enters the haunted house hoping she hasn't gotten the wrong place yet again. She's not exactly one for scary things, but it's another matter if people will let her DO the scaring.
Thinking about her options for activities during the dance, as she can't dance and is pretty bad at social situations due to her arrogant attitude. She comes to the conclusion that the only reasonable action would be to stuff her face at the buffet table.
She walks over to the table and takes as a little bit of food to begin with.

The Female Litwick floated in the air inside the Haunted House sticking her tongue out and using a hand to pull down her right eye lid as she blew a raspberry at the Girl and her Lilipup. The fire ghost pokemon blinked at the odd move odor sleuth? What was that. She felt something change with her body and next thing she knew the Lilipup and hounded forth and slammed into her with a tackle attack. She was completely surprised when the move struck her sending her flying into a wall. She was incredibly surprised that a normal move was able to damage her, then it clicked it was that odor Sleuth move. She puffed her cheeks out in annoyance, <HEY That's not fun at all!>" she cried as she raised her hands up into the air creating a fire ball on each hand and spun creating a swirl of flames that launched forth towards the Lilipup to encase him in fire. Kiki could see that the Litwick was annoyed. She bet that she had not been expecting a normal type move to work on her. She was glad that there was sometimes a way around it. Right now, though, she was going to use a different type of move. "Ok, now use Bite!" The Litwick was weak to dark type moves, so this should be quite effective if it hit. She had to stay calm and think clearly so she could win this and save the ball.
Cody stared at the Litwick oddly. Not fun? He thought this was all quite fun. Oh well. As long as he amused himself was all that mattered. He yelped in surprise when fire hit him and circled him. Oh dear. He still did not like fire. He shook off the flames as he ran towards the ghost Pokemon. He planned to jump up and bite her with his powerful jaws. The Litwick giggled as she flew around the air of the Haunted House watching as her fire spin encased the Lillipup. She giggled again as she watched the two pokemon and trainer give commands. She blinked as the normal pokemon jumped up and bit into her hard with his jaws. She cried out in pain and flung the pokemon off her body and glared down at her, " <HEY THAT HURT!>" she shouted as she raised her hands into the air the purple flame on her head bursting to life growing five times in size as it turned crimson red. She opened her mouth expelling a barrage of tiny fireballs that rained down towards the normal type. Uh oh. The Litwick looked really angry now. "Well, that's what you get for trying to suck the life force out of these people." Really, who did that? Apparently this ghost type. She believed that every Pokemon had their place in the world, but she was starting to wonder about this one. "Cody, use Take Down!" They had not practiced this move much since he had learned it, so she hoped it turned out well.
Cody enjoyed biting things, so he was confused when the Litwick complained. <But it's fun...> Oh well. As long as he was having, that was all that counted. He yelped when more fire hit him, both the Ember and the reoccuring Fire Spin. Now that hurt. He shook his tail so the fire would go out, and then he prepared to run. He raced forward with as much speed as he had, and then he leapt in the air to attack the ghost. The female litwick glared forth as the flame on her head grew in size again as she glared at the trainer and at the Lillipup. How dare they stop her from sucking up those delicious souls, it was the only way for her to eat and she was so hungry. She released a loud scream from her mouth that echoed throughout the haunted house causing windows to shatter and the walls to shake under her ghostly powers. She cried out as the normal type collided with a take down sending her flying into a wall. She slumped to the ground before rising into the air. She roared unleashing a barrage of embers forth. Kiki hoped that this battle would be over soon. The students at the ball would not be able to dance for much longer if the Litwick stuck around. She wondered if she should have talked to Principal Sash after all. No, she could do this. "Now Tackle!" She vaguely wondered what she would do with the Pokemon if she did win, but she pushed those thoughts off to the future.
Cody did not like the look of the Litwick. Oh well. She was kind of a scary candle anyway. He was not a big fan of fire, and he yelped when he was hit by more fire balls. His fur was going to be singed! He shut his eyes as the Fire Spin took effect. He needed to end this quickly! He opened his eyes and raced towards the ghost to Tackle her. The Litwick cried out as she crashed to the ground the flame on her head beginning to die down burning to a light purple. The candle flame died down till it was only a few inches in size. The pokemon lay there defeated ready to be captured if the trainer was so inclined. Kiki let out a breath of relief when the Litwick fainted. That was a close one. "Great job, Cody," she said as she rubbed the puppy's back. "You can take a break now." The Lillipup walked over to her and stood by her side. She eyed the ghost type. Well, she might as well catch her. She did not want her to cause further trouble in the haunted house. She pulled out an empty Pokeball and tossed it at the defeated Pokemon. |

Kiki walked over to the Pokeball and picked it up. She sighed as she stared at the object. She was glad that was over. She clipped the ball to her belt and then turned to Cody. "Let's try to enjoy the rest of the ball." She could see Zoey fighting another Litwick, and she hoped she would win as well. Then they could be free of those pesky Pokemon! |
